Matt Giraud, like many other legendary singers always loved to sing as a child. "I used to sing a lot", he said. He would consider him as a star performing on the stage. "I'd stand up on the table and say 'Hallelujiah' in a restaurant. I've always been a jokester. I like to entertain people", said the American Idol season 8 finalist, Matt Giraud.

Matt was not a brilliant student in school. He would always play a piano or sing to his fellows. "In school, I got by, but I wasn't like this amazing student. The only thing I was the best at was playing piano and singing. That was just, like, what I did - it was almost like it was just what I was supposed to be doing", the 23 year old singer added.

Matt Giraud can freeze you with his rasping and grating blues and make your heart beat faster with

his falsetto. His wild card comeback has increased his popularity, which might just be a warning bell for others.
