In her first solo performance at Sharpe Elementary Lil Rounds sang Silent Night. "It went very well. I got a standing ovation", the star recalls. The 24 year old American Idol Season 8 finalist is married and raises 3 kids. The singer said that she had been named after her grandmother, Lillie.
"They're all really excited about [my being on Idol] and they know I'm doing this for the family. They gave me a nickname, they call me 'American Idol Girl' or 'American Idol Momma.' It's the cutest", Lil said.
When she performs it seems like Lil was made for this competition. A Mary J Blige look alike, Lil round is a potential candidate. But considering her popularity chart, we may predict that Lil might just come 5th in the AI's 8th season.
