American Idol Season 8

American Idol is full of surprises and stunners. Season 8 of AI has a fourth judge and a wildcard round with top 36 contestants. Gossips and rumours of audience discontent on viewership issues have not marred the frenzy of AI.

Six contestants have been selected for the Top 12. Kristen McNamara and Nathaniel Marshall from Group 3 bowed out of the contest.

The duo had fought with their group. Both Kristen and Nathaniel had been the selected two of the nine semifinalists who were sent back on Wednesday.
However the pair of singers will not be eligible for the special wild card round which dampened the scene. Three more contestants have made it to the top 12.

All have performed very well and their selection was anticipated by the judges and the audience.
