A film by Russian director and actor Nikita Mikhalkov, 12 is a film adaptation of Reginald Rose's play, Twelve Angry Men and a remake of Sidney Lumet's 12 Angry Men movie. The plot of the film revolves around a young Chechen boy. The juries are busy deciding on whether the boy is guilty of murdering his stepfather, who was a Russian military officer. Intially it seems as if the boy is guilty but as the story progresses the truth is unveiled.
