Megan Fox, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, grew up in nearby Rockwood. She began her training in drama and dance at the age of five in Kingston. Megan joined a dance class there soon and got involved in Kingston Elementary School's chorus and the Kingston Clippers swim team. At the age of 10, after they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida she continued her training in Morningside Academy.
When Megan reached the age of 16 she launched her career and won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She made her film debut in 2001, starring in Holiday in the Sun as the spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace. After this she made guest appearances in several films like Ocean Ave., What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men and The Help. Megan's biggest break came with the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in the 2007 live-action film Transformers.
