Rihanna was born on February 20th, 1988, in Barbados. She is a well known singer, model, and former beauty queen. With the debut Music of the Sun, Rihanna stepped into the recording industry in 2005. The album was an instant hit featuring songs like “Pon de Replayâ€. Within a year Rihanna launched her 2nd album, A Girl Like Me and earned her first number-one single, "SOS". Her 3rd album, Good Girl Gone Bad, was released in 2007. The album had 8 singles including "Umbrella", "Don't Stop the Music" and "Take a Bow". Rihanna became the first Barbadian artist to win a Grammy Award.
