Martina Mcbride

McBride, a soprano, has been labeled the "Céline Dion of country music". McBride, like Dion, is noted for her wide vocal range, power, and minimal use of melisma. During a 2003 CMT Crossroads episode with Pat Benatar, McBride stated that she learned how to sing at such a wide range by listening to Benatar's music and trying to emulate that vocal range.
