After Atomic Kitten took a break, McClarnon was signed to EMI records. On February 13, 2006 McClarnon released her first solo single, a cover of Barbra Streisand's 1980 hit Woman in Love. Elizabeth Margaret "Liz" McClarnon (born April 10, 1981 in Liverpool, Merseyside, England) is an English singer and member of Atomic Kitten. She is now a solo performer and is known mainly for winning Celebrity Masterchef 2008 and for being a contestant on Making Your Mind Up in 2007.

McClarnon has been unsuccessfully engaged twice. She was engaged to her childhood sweetheart, Tommy Hibbs until 2001. She was engaged to former Blue singer Lee Ryan in 2003. She also lived with but was not engaged to footballer Lee Trundle in 2007. She remains good friends with Atomic Kitten members, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost.
