Lewis lives in Hackney with her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, an electrician, whom she has known since she was ten years old. Lewis has stated that she would like to marry Al-Chamaa sometime in the future.
Lewis has been a vegetarian since she was 12, and in 2008 she won PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian along with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis.
Lewis is a close friend of Sugababe Keisha Buchanan, she introduced Buchanan's now boyfriend to her.
