Kevin Michael Costner (born January 18, 1955) is an American actor, producer and Academy Award-winning director. He is well-known for the epic Waterworld, as well as his roles as Lt. John J. Dunbar in the film Dances with Wolves, Jim Garrison in JFK, and Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams.
