Jade Goody
Jade Goody, the reality show TV star, is creating headlines these days due to her terminal illness. Goody, who rose to fame after her “racist†comments in the reality TV show - Big Brother, is currently suffering from cervical cancer. In 2008 August, when Goody was taking part in the Indian version of Big Brother, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She had to withdraw from the show immediately in order to go back to London for further treatment. After few weeks of extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy Goody was told that the cancer has spread through the lower abdominal portion of her body and it has become terminal. Goody burst into tears knowing her days were numbered but she soon resumed to secure her son's future. She gave OK! magazine and Living TV the rights to film every movement of hers only to earn a sum of £1 million approximately. Health Concerns And Cancer
Goody was tested for ovarian cancer in 2004 and bowel cancer in 2006, but was given the all-clear both times. Jade underwent hospital tests in early August 2008 after her third cancer scare.
