Prior to appearing on Big Brother, Chantelle did some glamour modelling. In 2003, she appeared in The Daily Star as a page three girl[citation needed].

She appeared as a Soccerette model on Sky TV's Soccer AM show.

Chantelle had originally applied to be in Big Brother 6 (shown May-August 2005). However, after some persuasion from Max Clifford, the show's producers put her in the Celebrity Big Brother house instead.
