Acting
Crawford moved to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University and while there, he began acting as a hobby. In 2006, Crawford appeared in Lifetime's television movie Long Lost Son, in which he portrayed the son of Gabrielle Anwar's character. He also starred alongside Steven Strait, Taylor Kitsch, Sebastian Stan and Toby Hemingway in Screen Gems' horror/thriller The Covenant.
He is one of the leads in CW's drama Gossip Girl, which premiered in 2007.
Crawford appears in two movies in 2008, Loaded, starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe and Monica Keena, and the independent movie The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Haley Bennett that is to be released. He has also made a guest appearance on the TV show Family Guy in the episode "The Former Life of Brian".
