On December 29, 2005 Williamson married Josh Evans. According to the July 3, 2007 edition of Soap Opera Digest, she announced that she and Evans had separated in June 2007. They are now divorced and she is dating a man named Michael.
In the September 2006 issue of ABC Soaps in Depth, Williamson revealed she just got her green card and proudly proclaimed, "Now you can't kick me out!".
She is best friends with co-star BethAnn Bonner.
