Personal Relationships
A four-year relationship with Sean Lennon in the early 2000s ended after Phillips had an affair with Lennon's childhood friend Max LeRoy. LeRoy subsequently died in a motorcycle accident before Lennon and he had a chance to mend their friendship. Phillips' infidelity and the death of Lennon's friend was the inspiration for much of Lennon's 2006 album, Friendly Fire.
