Daly joined the cast of MADtv during season 6 as a featured player, then became a repertory player in the following season. He appeared as Bill Maher in Politically Incorrect sketches, *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick and Dick Cheney, among many other impersonations.

He is now the new host of Match Game.

Daly appeared in Christmas with the Kranks and Semi-Pro

Daly does many characters in his stand-up. In 2007, one character, "Jerry O'Hearn," was featured on the comedy compilation CD Comedy Death-Ray (album). In 2008 Daly announced plans to record an entire album in a nine-week residency at Comedy Death-Ray's Tuesday night shows for AST Records.
