Miley Cyrus on the Last Song Set

Mark Mcleod, a 53 year old man, has been sentenced to probation of 2 years (24 months) against charges of stalking pop singer and actress Miley Cyrus, reports the Associated Press. The report says the the Miley stalker admitted to “resisting the police guards” during the shooting of her film, “The Last Song”, in the coast of Georgia in an island called Tybee. He was reported to have announced himself as being engaged to her. This incident occurred in early August this year. McLeod had been jailed since then while investigations were being done.

The grand jury of the Chatham county of Savannah, on Wednesday, had carefully studied the matter and realized that there was no hard charges against the man. The prosecutors had imposed charges against felony at that time. Later, though, the charges were decreased and McLeod had 2 lesser grave charges to face, one showing misconduct towards the police and second, attempting to stalk the 16 year old star. Defending McLeod, lawyer James Byrne assured that his client was innocent and he would never pose such a kind of threat to Cyrus. The prosecutors quite disagreed to this but still decided to drop the felony charges against McLeod.

On Friday morning, when the court came to session, McLeod admitted to being guilty of the lower charges and he received a sentence of 2 years of probation and an assessment in a mental health facility. He was also ordered to be far from Miley.

An interesting point to see here is that Miley is quite in the center of such psychotic activities around her. A soldier threatening to murder her because he didn’t like her music, a little boy threatening to kill a cat if she doesn’t start tweeting and now this. Is it me or are you thinking too, is this “the last song” or is it another “fly on the wall”?

Second week in a row and Michael Buble still continues to dominated the US Pop Album Chart. The soundtrack from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” topped the second place of the billboard after its release. Buble gave it a strong fight by occupying the top spot for a second consecutive week.

The album named “Crazy Love” by the singer sold over 203,000 copies in a week that ended on 18th October. This is marked as the second-best sales week of Buble’s career as per a report presented by Nielsen SoundScan. Earlier his debut album “Call Me Irresponsible” recorded a weekly sale of 213,000 for in 2007.

As compared to Buble’s “Crazy Love”, the “New Moon” soundtrack marked a sale of 115,000 copies. In order to leave behind the leaks, the soundtrack of New Moon was released on 16th October, 4 days ahead of it scheduled date on 20th October.

In the coming week country king Tim McGraw’s new album, “Southern Voice”, will hit the stores. New Moon will have to give it a big fight to secure the top position on Billboard 200 in the next week.

Following the success of “Crazy Love”, a close second debut was “Embryonic” by Flaming Lips. The album entered Billboard 200 at number 8 after a sale of a little under 32,000 copies. This is the highest rank that the rock band has ever received in US charts. With a sale of 48,000 in its first week, the last album of Flaming Lips, “At War With the Mystics”, was ranked at number 11 on Billboard 200 in 2006.

The 3rd rank is secured by Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3″ with 55,000 sales. And the 5th spot is reigned by Miley Cyrus’ “The Time of Our Lives” with 40,000. Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” took a huge leap from No. 23 to No. 6 with just under 40,000.

The Disney sweetheart Miley Cyrus quits Twitter leaving millions of her fans and followers heartbroken. Miley was very regular with the social networking site and she had been keeping her fans informed about her latest updates through tweets. But the American singer suddenly stopped tweeting and all that may be because of her new rumoured boyfriend, say a close source.

Over one million followers of the “Hannah Montana” star were left puzzled after Miley deleted her Twitter account on Thursday. Speculations on Miley’s abrupt exit from Twitter are growing rapidly. May feel that the US singer’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, who was the co-star of “The Last Song” has a major role to play in this.

Miley, in her last tweet mentioned that since Liam did not have a Twitter account and he wanted her to be out of Twitter as well. If this is truly the case then we must admit that the teen diva is head over heels in love with Hemsworth. Bidding a farewell to the microbloggling site Miley wrote, “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason”.

Soon after this tweet fans found Miley’s “@MileyCyrus” twitter handle missing. In response to this abrupt exit of Miley from Twitter her fans united together to start a hash(#) tag under the heading of “#mileycomeback” to bring back the singer. The plea using the hash tag were used by so many that it rose to become the top trending topic of Twitter for the day.

Tweets from her fans like: “!!! nooo!!! she can’t delete her twitter!!!! twitter IS miley cyrus!!”; “TWITTER SUCKS WITHOUT MILEY ”; “I can not believe that Miley Cyrus deleted her twitter account”; and “please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please #mileycomeback”, kept pouring in.

Another very popular high profile celebrity Tweeter, John Mayer, tweeted this morning in regard to the issue, “Welcome displaced refugees from Miley’s Twitter account! I know you’re very scared right now. I made you some pie? Yes. Good. Eat”.

No, Thnaks honey! Right now Miley’s fans are in no mood to joke.

Rumors of Miley Cyrus making a cameo appearance in the “Sex And The City: The Movie” sequel have been spreading for quite some time now. Reported by Gossipcop.com, the Hannah Montana star do have some roles to play in the upcoming project.

Fans have already started treating this as one of Miley’s attempts to break out of her Disney image. But the makers of the films have confirmed that the singing sensation will be seen only in one or two scenes of the film and this might not affect her Hannah Montana image much.

Until now Cyrus has not yet been given any lines in the script. She along with Kim Cattrall will be seen walking down the red carpet as reported by  Gossipcop.com. Cyrus has been confirmed about her shooting date for the film, which is on October 16th. If everything goes right the film will hit the screen on May 2010.

Miley Cyrus and Robert Pattinson at Teens Choice Award

The Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, had earlier been vocal about her impassivity about the most charming vampire on screen, Robert Pattinson. But, now, she has finally got a line on her error and has chosen to apologize through her Twitter profile for “bashing” up the Twilight star.

Her profile update in Twitter on the following day of Teen Choice Awards read as: “Gave a hug to Rob Pattinson today. OK girls, I get it now. So cute. Sorry ‘Robby’ ’bout all my bashing in the past ”

Earlier this year in April, Miley was quoted as talking about Edward Cullen, the on screen vampire played by Rob, to Teen Vogue in an interview, “I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with [his Twilight character] Edward”.

But all that’s history now. Miley is apologetic for her snooty comments. And now she admits to have a crush on the handsome actor. The 16 year old Disney actress gave an electrifying performance in a skimpy outfit while Robert Pattinson picked up the Choice Hottie at the Teens Choice Award.

The Twilight Stars

This is a grand news for all those crazy fans of Twilight. The whole star cast of the film will be seen at the Teen Choice Awards. After presenting a lot of fun filled moments at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this year, now, its time for the audience at the Teen Choice to get entertained.

The younger fans would certainly be happy and many would also start planning up for the night of Nickelodeon’s Teen Choice Awards to catch glimpse of the Twilight stars. The award is scheduled to be held on August 10th, which is on Monday. The Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Kellan Lutz are all set to appear and dazzle the show.

Until now Taylor Lautner is the only star who has been scheduled to present an award at the show. But we can certainly expect the producer to fit in more actors from the film to help the ratings of Teen Choice Awards go high.

The biggest blockbuster of 2008, Twilight, has received a maximum number of nominations this year, which includes: Choice Romance Movie, Best Villain (Cam Gigandet), Fresh Face Female (Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed), Fresh Face Male (Taylor Lautner), Liplock (Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson), and Rumble (Robert Pattinson and Cam Gigandet). And we bet the film will sweep away all.

Besides showcasing the Twilighters, the award show will all feature the cast of Glee, Megan Fox, Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, and Vanessa Hudgens. Not only the teens, we too are waiting anxiously for the night.

Miley Cyrus can’t decide between her present boyfriend Justin Gaston, and ex-beau Nick Jonas of the superhit Jonas Brothers boy band.

The 16-year-old “Hannah Montana” star has been in a romantic relationship with 20-year-old model/musician Gaston for nearly eight months now. Now, she wants to get back together with her ex-boyfriend. According to an insider, the teenage queen’s heart belongs to her first love Nick, with whom she spilt in 2007, and that it has been impossible for the two to stay away from each other. The source says “Miley and Nick want to get back together,” our source tells us. “Because they’re working together [on a new video], they’ve been put in close proximity to each other. They’re now spending more and more time together, and they’re constantly on the phone.”

Miley had dismissed rumors that had linked her up with her ex after the two were photographed having a cozy lunch at L.A.’s ‘Village Idiot’ insisting that they were “just friends.” That is a bit too unappropriate term for a pair found kissing and cuddling. These days, when the actress and the cute Jonas brother meets these days, their relationship seems anything but friendship. Though Miley and Nick look very cute togetherand are MFEO (Made For Each Other in teen language), Miley is finding it really difficult to tell her current boyfriend Gaston about the re-bounce of her relationship with Nick. But, unfortunately for Gaston, she has no choice left but to break his heart.

“Me and Nick … talk all the time and he is one my best friends. We really love each other, and I am happy we have been able to stay such good friends,” Miley recently told Ryan Seacrest. Nick’s representative has said “We have no comment on our client’s personal life.” It is clear that Miley and Nick’s present relationship is much more than friendship. And that’s bad news for Gaston.

Thelma Houston performs on American idol results show

Tuesday night on American idol results show, there were Freda Payne, Thelma Houston, and K.C. Casey apart from the contestants. But the performances were pretty bad. If they were contenders, Simon Cowell would have definitely criticized.

Freda Payne performed ¨Band of Gold¨ after Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were eliminated during American idol final 7 results show. She looked superb, and was full of energy, but her vocals were not up to the mark. In fact, she was pathetic with the song. Then came Thelma Houston in a too-small yellow dress and sang ¨Don´t Leave Me This Way.¨ It was a little better than Payne´s performance, but it was awkward.  Up next was Harry Wayne ¨K.C.¨ Casey in a ridiculous red shirt. He was clumsy and his vocals were weak as he performed ¨Get Down Tonight.¨

American Idol has had performances from star singers such as Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, and Kayne West, all of who are at the peak of their careers. After them it was really boring to take Tuesday night´s guest performances.

Former American idol runner-up David Archuleta returned to the ¨Idol¨ stage to perform his recent single ¨Touch My hands.¨ He showed that getting second place is not all that bad. Following his performance, he also offered encouraging words to bottom three finishers Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta.

Billy Ray Cyrus is noticeably angry. Following Jamie Foxx´s comments on Miley Cyrus, the teen superstar´s father Billy Ray Cyrus has slammed the 41-year-old comedian for insulting his daughter. He has said that the comments were hurtful and far from being funny.

Jamie Foxx, on an episode of his weekly radio show ´The Foxxhole´, had verbally attacked Disney star MIley Cyrus saying ”Make a sex tape and grow up!” Comments made, in the background, by other guests included “Be like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Be like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian…get some crack in your pipe. Now that’s what I want.”

Miley, in response, said to the talk show host Bonnie Hunt ¨It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it, and quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic.¨

Foxx did apologize on Tuesday´s episode of ¨The Tonight Show¨ with Jay Leno. ”I have a radio show. We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart.“

But, it seems that Billy Ray Cyrus is not going to take the entire matter regarding his little girl so lightly.
