Madonna and Ritchie

Finally the end has arrived for pop star Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie. The star couple are all set to begin their divorce at the High Court in London on Friday, according to court lists. The  Registry of the Family Division will soon receive a notice of the  couple’s rule inconclusively.

Reliable sources mentioned that the celebrity couple have already reached a concord over finances and sharing custody of their children. If there are no further dispute from either side the marriage may legally come to an end within the next couple of weeks.

Madonna and Ritchie tied the wedding knots in December 2000 at Skibo Castle in Scotland and they announced their break-up in October,  the next year. The divorce will have its first hearing before the High Court’s Family Division at 1000 GMT, for which the couple is registered by Ciccione M and Ritchie GS names. The couples are not requested to attend the hearing, which is likely to last few minutes.

Reports have also said that Rocco and David, the two adopted sons of the couple will share their time between their UK and US homes. The 12 year old daughter of Madonna,  Lourdes will stay with her.

It was everyone from Madonna to Opera Winfrey to celebrate  Barack Obama’s presidential victory. And when it comes to doing anything Madonna doesn’t leave it half done. “The Material Girl” rejoiced Obama’s historical win with a scintillating rally of her own. She was followed by  thousands of fans to her concert in San Diego, which she began with her song “Express Yourself”.

“This is a historical evening! … We are lucky to be sharing it with each other!”, is what the pop star had to say about the victory of the new president of USA. A video clipping posted on YouTube showed the star clapping her hands in joy while she said those words.

There were many to follow Madonna when it came to congratulating Obama. The good cheer was joined by Oprah Winfrey, who expressed her joy through tears. She cried while celebrating Obama’s win in Chicago’s Grant Park. “ I was so, so, so excited and then just sort of a calm came over me. It feels like it actually is kind of real, so it feels great”, Winfrey  told the TV show “The Insider”. When she was asked what the victory wins for the nation she added, “ It means democracy at its finest. It’s just the best. We did this. America did this”.

“I congratulate President-elect Obama on his historic victory, and now it’s time to begin unifying the country so we can take on the extraordinary challenges that this generation faces”, said George  Clooney in a statement.

Colbie Caillat, the popular pop singer cried too after Obama won. She said that she feels the country is in “safe hands” now.

Besides expressing their joy in press conference the Hollywood stars also posted messeges online.  Lindsay Lohan raving on her  Myspace page wrote, “OBAMA IS OUR PRESIDENT!” She also said that everyone who has voted, “no matter their choice … should be proud for voting in the first place.”

West posted a portrait of Obama on his blog with the message “HI MOM, OBAMA WON!”, dedicating the post to his mother he passed away last November.

“ Who among us is not at a loss for words? Tears pour out. Tears of joy. Tears of relief. A stunning, whopping landslide of hope in a time of deep despair”. These strong words came from  director-provocateur Moore.

The Pop Singer Madonna’s plan to adopt another child soon are in rags for the time due to her divorce with Guy Ritchie. Madonna has announced her divorce with Guy Ritchie, the popular director, earlier in October 2008. She was in constant touch with the officials in Malawi for the past two years, where she is sponsoring three-year-old Mercy James.

Soon after she announced her split from Guy Ritchie, the organization started to rethink on whether to give Madonna the child. The star has shortly been informed that she will not be allowed to adopt the child legally since the organization do not approve of children being placed with single or recently divorced parents.

Malawi’s director of Child Welfare Services, Penston Kilembe,  told to Grazia magazine, “One fundamental condition in scrutinising adoptions is the connectedness of a family. We can’t approve a child to go into a broken family because the divorce could be the result of the behaviour of the party trying to adopt. Madonna should forget this one”.

Madonna and her bruited boyfriend Alex Rodriguez are reportedly seen together gushing to New York’s Hamptons district in a private helicopters some time during the last week to spend couple of hours (to be precise four hours) together.

Madonna has announced in public, earlier in October, that she and her soon to be ex-husband Guy Ritchie are signing a divorce after nearly eight years of their marriage. She was seen today with baseball player Alex, nicknamed A-Rod, flying to the US location using private helicopters, where they stayed in comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s house.

“The Seinfelds have been friends with Madonna for years. They’re neighbors on the West Side, so it’s really no surprise. And Jerry and his wife Jessica go to her concerts whenever she’s in town”, a close friend mentioned. Madonna and  A-Rod arrived in separate helicopters, 40 minutes after each other, for the confidant break.

The source also added “After Alex arrived at the mansion, there was a 40-minute break and then Madonna landed at the same airstrip. A dark SUV and Jerry in another Porsche both pulled up and picked up Madonna and they headed back to Jerry’s place. When they arrived at the Seinfeld home, Madonna poked her head out the window and could be clearly seen”.

Madonna, who is 50 now, and Alex, at his 33, spent four intimate hours at the mansion before heading back to Manhattan. “ About four hours later, the dark SUV left the house and took them all back to the airport. Madonna and the Seinfelds could clearly be seen getting out and piling into the helicopter that had taken Madonna there in the first place. They left together. Several minutes later, the helicopter that carried A-Rod also left”, was reported by a close source to the  New York Post.

When asked by the media, Madonna’s spokesperson said she was “unaware of the meeting”, while  Jerry Seinfeld and Alex’s representatives had nothing to add.

Guy Ritchie

Guy Ritchie got the shock of his life. A crazed Madonna fan was seen brandishing his knife on the sets of Guy’s new film.

The terrorising teenager burst into the set and was foul mouthing. The security guards were alerted and brought the teenager down.

While grounded the kid screamed: “I’m Madonna’s biggest fan! I’m gonna kill Guy.”

The director is fighting a divorce case with Madonna was reportedly yards away. The petrified crowd witnessed the teenage kid shouting out and waving a 12 inch long knife. He was yelling at the top most voice : “Where’s Guy? I’m going to kill him!”

The teenager had somehow barged in managing to get inside the set in Manchester where Guy Ritchie is shooting for a Sherlock Holmes remake. A visibly terrified witness/source said, “The bloke was screaming about Guy and shouting, ‘I love Madonna’.”

The source also added that everyone present inside thought at first to be a joke. But soon things got worse. He said that luckily there were four guards/policemen who empowered the youth and grounded him.

He added: “Guy was understandably upset, but carried on as if nothing had happened.” The knifeman’s entry and display was too scary for Ritchie. A 16 year old has been arrested in connection to this incident. No further details have been divulged by the authorities.

Madonna has spoken to her husband Guy Ritchie for the first time in weeks. Reported from reliable sources, the star has an emotional phone call to her soon to be ex-husband after trying a bid to settle their divorce out of court.

The 50 year old pop singer has declared in public about her and Guy Ritchie’s splitting earlier this month after nearly eight years of marriage. Madonna  is believed to have called the director on Tuesday night to come to an peaceful agreement outside court about their separation.

A reliable source reported to the MailOnline website: “It was a very emotional call and a sign of the desperation Madonna feels for them to settle before things start getting more serious legally. Madonna tried to remind Guy of all the good times, said how they must settle before it got any more messy and public. She said she had always worked so hard to provide for the family. She said she had been saddened by some of the criticisms of her which appeared to have come from his camp”.

Madonna and Guy have three children and the couple have also reportedly been involved into a dispute shortly over the custody of the children. Madonna was reportedly encouraged to contact her spouse by her Kabbalah spiritual leader Rabbi Berg. Berg wanted the couple to be in constant touch so that the reputation of Kabbalah, a mystical offshoot of Judaism, is not damaged.

The singer was found crying opening in front of many people for the first time.  The air of their bitter split
took its toll said a close friend of Madonna.

Guy  Ritchie plans to bring out a tell all movie about his relationship with Madonna. Guy wants to give her ex-wife a rude shock.

Guy who wanted to present the film to show his side of the story. He is said to have panicked Madonna his estranged wife. A recent

book by Christopher Ciccone, Madonna’s brother had done the devastation part. A close source had revealed Grazia magazine: “I think Guy just doesn’t want to lie down and hold his hands up to being the bad guy.” the source was talking in context of Madonna’s song writing thing which was personal but it was strongly felt that she was bound to talk in interviews about her divorce and soured relationship period with Ritchie. The source also added that how open Madonna was in revealing details. So it was also a responsibility that fell on Guy to reveal his story.

The source said that Guy required a vent just like his former wife needed. “Guy has said that most people wouldn’t believe what went on in their marriage and it would make the most incredible dark, twisted sort of movie. “His idea would be to give it a film noir treatment. It would be fascinating,” was the source had to say about the movie planned by Ritchie. However friends believe that Madonna the ‘4 Minutes’ singer will use her music career to hit back with her “war of words” which has been there since the couple publicly split.

Guy Ritchie has turned down down a £20 million divorce settlement. He has also been fighting to bend Madonna’s demands of keeping their kids in New York. Madonna is adamant to school her kids in New York for her own convenience and growing age. Guy has other plans to educate them in England. Madonna is allegedly very desperate for sons David and Rocco to live with her and her 12-year-old daughter Lourdes.

Another friend said: “Madonna is very hurt with everything that has happened…She is very upset that the marriage is over - and so is Guy.” J. Randy Taraborrelli, Madonna’s biographer said: “There was a great deal of haggling about this matter last week, with Madonna upping the amount of Guy’s settlement to more than £20 million in hopes that he would acquiesce.” The biographer also claimed that the pair are now “not even speaking to each other. They communicate only through lawyers”.

Madonna who is reportedly sharing a good relationship with A-Rod or Alex Rodriguez wants a natural child with him. In a sad and fiery turn of events, Madonna has expressed anger and frustration over the entire fact that Richie was insolent towards her when she had fallen from her horse during  a horse riding session. She had broken eight bones while Ritchie had showed no sympathy in his way off.

The incident came up during their heated arguments when Madonna brought out the fact that Ritchie had failed to show his love and compassion and also failed at several occasions to be at Madonna’s bedside when she was hospitalized.

The 2005 accident spelt a gloom and possible doom for the marriage was supposedly sealed for Madonna and Ritchie. Soon after the incident Madonna felt that Ritchie might not be her soul mate because of his “shabby treatment” which she told her close friends about.

She went so far as to say,“He can’t possibly be my soul mate ” to her friends. A close confidante told The Sun how Madonna spat at Guy: “Did you ever actually love me?”.

A close family friend told The Sun yesterday that the main reason that could be held responsible for the high voltage split could well be the horse riding fall of Madonna at her Wiltshire estate on her 47th birthday.  50 year old Madonna  felt that 40 year old Guy was an unemotional person who had “abandoned her emotionally”.

Close friends believed that the fall doomed their marriage. A close family friend when asked about the exact reason that broke apart the eight year marriage, said that if one is to exact out the point of break down of the marriage then most certainly Madonna’s horse riding accident is the most shiny. “Every other row the couple had following that boiled down to what happened that summer…” , reveals a friend.

Guy is believed to have taken the accident in “A very British way”, according to Madonna who had expected her husband to leave aside everything to be at her side. A family friend said,“Instead of smothering her with sympathy he said, ‘Come on darling, you’re a tough bird. You’ll be back on the horse in no time’.”

Madonna Guy Ritchie

For quite a long time, the star couple has been in the midst of speculations regarding their broken marriage and several new link up stories.

Close sources/confidants/friends have confirmed that for long Madonna and Guy Ritchie have dragged on with the soured relationship and have had to bear pretence in order to save their happy image presumably.

Problems grew strong around Guy’s 40th birthday when a series of severe fights resulted in Madonna walking out of their house and Ritchie claiming everything was over and he had enough. He also felt that this was the right time to get divorced.

Sadly Madonna and Ritchie are to get officially divorced in less than a week. A close source has spilled the beans to The Sun, saying, “Madonna was dithering at first about whether a separation would be best or whether to go ahead with the divorce. “She has now agreed with Guy that a divorce is the best thing to do.”

Guy Ritchie has seen a massive downward movement in his career in the recent times whereas Madonna has seen the zenith of success. The couple also had problems relating to their age and children. Madonna being 50, turned down Ritchie’s hunting plans since reportedly she has become extremely philosophical.

Arguments about their kids Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, and David Banda, two, were regarding Madonna’s decision to return to US with her kids which would be a good excuse to settle down far away from Ritchie’s clutches.

Madonna and Ricthie had problems on adoption as well. Madonna wanted to adopt more kids but Ritchie did not. Ritchie did not feel it as a right time to adopt kids since their marriage was on the rocks.

The source has confirmed  : “She was adamant that she was leaving Guy and not coming back.”
The couple are going public with their split because they “can’t bear to live with the pretence any longer”.

Ok, so it’s finally done, after being pushed back for a day because of some technical glitches the shoot was finally up and running. Britney came to the sets at 9 in the morning and stayed back a few hours even after the shoot. The pop star is trying very hard to get back to the groove after almost a meltdown she experienced after separation from husband Kevin Federline and losing custody of her children. However she is trying to make a come back by being professional about what she does to give her career the much needed boost. There are a lot of expectations from this video and Britney was visibly nervous while working on the same.

The short video that is supposed to be a part of Madonna’s upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour has Britney inside an elevator with almost 7 cameras placed in strategic positions. She is wearing a gray hoodie and enters the elevator to go up. However as the elevator starts its journey the pop star gets anxious and starts pacing back and forth and proceeds to kick and smack the walls. As she gets more frantic she screams into the camera “It’s Britney, bitch”! Madonna’s “Human Nature” keeps playing in the background and the pop star is seen mouthing the words. Madonna on the other hand stayed put in her Manhattan apartment only leaving for some work in her studio.

Britney Spears had decided to get back on the groove by shooting a video for Madonna’s performance. However the schedule for the video shoot was pushed a few days back by a technical glitch. Even if this is temporary yet the shooting derailment comes at a crucial point for both. The Material Girl as well as Britney are poised to gain a lot from this tour. While these are the significant days to the countdown of Madonna’s much talked about eighth world concert tour Britney is trying very hard to get back to the circuit.

The set of the video had not been completed and therefore the unit couldn’t start shooting that was scheduled to start on Thursday. It will have an elevator with Britney performing in and around it for the video shoot. Insiders have already described the video as being deep and something that has never been done before with Britney. Fans are waiting with bated breath for the video footage that would be aired in the background during Madonna’s stage performance.

The news is finally out Cynthia Rodriguez has hired Earle Lilly to head a team of lawyers in her divorce case with the baseball star A-Rod. She will file for divorce in the Dade County Fla. Family Court today. With A- Rod and Madonna both denying rumors of the short fling Cynthia has not taken the scandal lying down.  This according to close sources sounded the death-knell for a marriage that has been on the rocks for quite some time.

The baseball star has had a number of flings over the years before the Madonna episode and this was the last one that the wife could take. Cynthia’s lawyer Lilly claimed that the material girl and the baseball star were still together and ‘infidelity’ would be the primary cause cited for the divorce along with ‘emotional abandonment’.  It has been massively reported that the baseballer has not even spent time with his new born baby girl. The gossip columns have had a field day with these celebrities.Madonna and Guy Ritchie have tried very hard to show a joint front to the paparazzi.

Madonna wants Britney Spears to accompany her on her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour that kicks of in a few weeks. The 49 year old material girl also wants the troubled singer to record a video with her. The same would be broadcasted for the first time as part of Madonna’s show on the 23rd of August. Madonna has also requested the Toxic singer to accompany her for some of the world tour dates.

If this comes through Madge and Britney fans can expect some fireworks onstage just like they had seen on the 20th MTV Video Music Awards. The French kiss that both shared on stage was the most talked about event in the VMA that year even after days. Does the material girl really want to help Britney to get her flagging career rolling again? Or is this just another marketing ploy? No matter what it is the fans are sure to have an eyeful of both with this performance that is sure to be much more than just Toxic!

It’s like this family is making it a point to be photographed together day in and day out in order to quash rumors of supposed infidelities and break-ups. Amid news of a possible affair and a split in the 7 year marriage Guy and Madonna visited the Kabbalah Center in New York City to pray along with their kids. She and her husband sat apart and prayed as is the norm in Kabbalah.

Guy and the kids were dressed in similar white shirts, pants and baseball caps. Madonna arrived at the centre with wet hair when she and director husband Guy Ritchie were caught in a downpour while they were about to enter the center. Quelling rumors of a relationship with baseball superstar A-Rod Madonna has been seen with her husband  having romantic dinners and praying together from the time he arrived in New York City a few weeks ago. Madonna has been in and out of fending rumors and controversies throughout her career. This is the latest link-up prior to her tour Sticky and Sweet as she turns 50.
