So Miss Bridget Jones and Jennifer Aniston has something in common to talk about. Miss Aniston too enjoys self help books. In a recent interview of the star with  Parade magazine, Aniston was quoted as saying that she often indulges in advice materials whenever she needs them.

“I’m always going to be interested if somebody gives me a self-help book. I’ll at least give it the first couple of pages because sometimes they speak and sometimes they don’t. But they’re worth investigating”, Jennifer said.

The “Love Happens” actress also said, “I say to people who look down their noses at motivational books, ‘Screw them.’ I’m telling you, people have got to mind their own business. It just shows, so obviously, their own fear or resentment,” Jennifer said. “They put down somebody else’s choice to sort of make themselves feel superior. They could probably use a little self-help themselves.”

Aniston also mentioned that she sometimes would also seek advice from the experiences of her life to give life to her big screen characters.  “I certainly try to access my personal life when I’m doing my job. But you know what they say, ‘Art imitates life, life imitates art,’” the actress said.

John Mayer, who split with Jennifer Aniston in March this year, has been spending time with a new woman, cocktail waitress and actress Scheana Marie. “We’re friends..He’s a great guy. He’s funny and sweet,” said Marie about her new friend Mayer.

It has been gathered from sources that 23-year-old Marie met Mayer, 31, in 2008 at the Beverly Hills cigar club Grand Havana Room, where she is currently working as a bartender and cocktail waitress. The two have not yet made any public appearances together, but sources say that they have spent a lot of time in each others company over the last few months, and that they have been enjoying getting to know each other.

Apart from being a cocktail waitress, Marie is also an aspiring actress. She will be starring in Jonas Brothers’ upcoming TV show ‘JONAS‘ which will debut on Disney Channel on May 2. In the show, she will make a guest appearance as a pizza delivery girl who is Jonas brothers’ dream woman. Marie has also been a model for ads for Pioneer, Doritos, Nissan and Toyota. She graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalis, from Azusa Pacific Univerity.

Mayer has been held up in his home studio in L.A’s San Fernando Valley working on his next album.

Is it true that John Mayer’s new song “Heartbreak Warfare” is about his ex Jennifer Aniston with whom he split only a month ago? There is no reason not to believe that it is. The song, which he debuted on board his fan cruise Mayercraft Carrier 2, does not include Aniston’s name anywhere in its lyrics. But the lyrics…”If you want more love, Why don’t you say so?” and “Drop his name, push it in and twist the knife again; Watch my face as I pretend to feel no pain, pain, pain“…. are quite suggestive.

John Mayer told the crowd “The concept of the album is the war of love – the art of war of love,” and added “Sometimes instead of saying ‘I love you,’ people can’t recognize that. They recognize how much you come to their aid when they are in pain.” He also said “I am a positivity man. Sometimes people try to recognize love in terms of negativity. When you are in that situation, that is not a lot of fun.“

The fan cruise to Mexico is over, and Mayer is on his way back to his L.A recording studio. He recently stated “I gave myself a nine to five. I’m making myself wake up and be a writer. It’s great.”

Jennifer Aniston have claimed that she has ended her relationship with singer John Mayer because of his Twitter ‘obsession’.  Close friends of Aniston have said that she was facing quite a lot of problem with her musician boyfriend, who kept glued to the networking website for hours. Despite every fights and requests from Aniston’s side,  Mayer was just too busy to get in touch with her. Finally the “Friend’s” star decided to call it off.

Aniston started dating John Mayer in April 2008. Within the last one year the couple have broken off many times and united again. During the Oscar night last month the couple clung on to each other, which seemed like they were inseparable and also fueled rumors of marriage.

A close friend of Aniston mentioned that the star thought that Mayer was not devoted enough to her. Every time she tried to meet him, Mayer declined claiming to be busy. But Aniston could easily find  hourly updates on his Twitter page. “John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he’d say: ‘I’ve been so busy with work. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to call you back”, the source said. She also added, “Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn’t have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates. Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he’d update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like ‘He has time for all this Twittering, but he can’t send me a text, an email, make a call?’”.

Mayer allegedly never tried to cover his Twitter page or even try to hide from Aniston. “He didn’t even deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she called him on it and ended things, he just said OK, and that he was sorry it didn’t work out. He took the break-up like a man”, the source mentioned.

John Mayer says that he is supposedly the right man for his girlfriend, Jennifer. Mayer is said to be convinced with this fact. He had taken an online poll at People magazine’s website. John and Jennifer had had a split earlier in their relationship. John was the one who came up to Jennifer and decided to mary her and stay together.

John Mayer took part in a relationship survey carried out by the People magazine. The survey asked : “Is John Mayer a keeper?” John gave a positive answer to this. He voted in favour of their relationship. He wrote that he considered himself as the right man for the ‘Bruce Almighty’ actress.

John stated on his Twitter : “I just voted on People’s ”Is John Mayer a Keeper?” poll. I clicked ”Love Him.” Be honest, you’d vote for yourself if you came across it, as well. Wouldn’t you?”  John’s relationship is stronger than it ever was. However Jennifer has been interviewed and has stated that she still feels that it is not the right time for her  to decide on marriage.

Jennifer Aniston says that she would not get her movie roles if she does not maintain her usual diet. Aniston insists that her weight was surely a determining factor in her movie roles. Jennifer said that she had to watch her weight issues because those were a part of her job.

Jennifer Aniston revealed that she would not gain her film roles if she ate burgers. She said: “I’m a realist. I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now.”

In a recent interview Jennifer said that she had no such obsession (as claimed by sections of the media) with her ex-husband, Brads Pitt. Aniston insisted that she was happier than ever. According to sources, the actress’ flirty behaviour quashed rumours she has split from the ‘Gravity’ singer. An insider said: “She looked hot and she and John looked really happy together.”

The festivities took place both inside and outside Jennifer’s property, with neighbours claiming celebrations lasted well beyond 2am. The ‘Friends’ star had recently claimed that she has no worries of aging. Jennifer’s ideas about aging are very similar to that of Brad Pitt. Brad is said to still in huge admiration for Jennifer. Recent gossips claim that Brad is not very happy in his marriage with Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer said: “Everyone’s been asking me if I worry about being nearly 40, but no, not really. These days I’m a lot more serene and I’m ready to embrace a new decade.”

A final nail in the already closed coffin? Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reportedly ended their on/off relationship. The couple concealed public outburst for some time now.

Since their first break up, the couple found it hard to go on normally. Jennifer has taken the final heat after the rocker was reportedly spotted kissing another woman.

The reports say that Mayer was seen enjoying an intimate date with a blonde woman in Santa Monica, California on Wednesday (28Jan09) night.

A source reveals : “They were obviously on a date. He came in with her another time too and I’ve seen them out together. He gave her a long kiss before they left. John has been here six times in the last two weeks but never with Jen.”

Representatives for Aniston and Mayer could not be reached for comment.

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly turned down a $4 million (£2.85 million) offer to pose naked for Playboy. Hugh Hefner The Playboy Boss had made the offer for Jennifer.
The offer was an open one which means Jennifer could have an estimated earning of $10 million (£7.15 million). Jennifer has started rejecting offers that she does not find interesting enough for her career at this juncture and age.

Magazine boss Hugh Hefner reportedly approached the former Friends star after her recent photoshoot for GQ, in which she posed nude except for an appropriately placed necktie.

According to the National Enquirer, Hefner tabled a bid that could have earned Aniston, with rewards for high sales. But sources claim the 40-year-old star isn’t interested in showing off any more of her body, and turned down the offer.

Jennifer Aniston who is a vowed animal lover, came to the rescue of a lost dog on Sunday, 25th January, when she spotted the lonely pet near her California home.

The former Friends star whose own Corgi-Terrier, Norman, was reportedly saved by a paparazzo from a recent car collision hopped out of her car when she noticed the lone husky running down a busy Beverly Hills road and managed to coax the pooch to the curb.

A witness, who saw the collarless dog escape its nearby home, thanked the actress and alerted its owners to the husky’s whereabouts.
