Halloween Movie Picks

The countdown for Halloween has begun and its time to give a serious look at your wardrobe. How about being a little creative and saving some money at the same time. Instead of removing your old clothes from your cabinet, you can plan to reuse them this year. Lets think of some movie inspired costumes from 2009 films.

Who ever you want to look like : Carol, KW, Alexander, Douglas, Ira, or Judith, you would simply look rocking. The costumes will not only look great but will also keep you warm on the chilly night.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

This would be difficult for you but indefinitely interesting. You have the variety of option to chose from good guys Optimus Prime or Bumblebee and the bad guys like Megatron or the Fallen. Instead of using metals, you can use plastic and cardboards with metals paints on it to make the costumes.

Inglourious Basterds

Pick up any Basterd and go get dressed like him. Try out the the neck scar and sport an awesome Italian accent to make your look more realistic. You might even try out a Nazi look.

Drag Me to Hell

Your outfit will look strikingly different from those of others with a stringy wig, torn clothes and some creepy teeth and contacts and you’ll send people running to the hills!

Watchmen

Any costume from the film would be an obvious challenge, but the most difficult one surely would be Dr. Manhattan. You have to find a blue body paint since hypothermia should cover the blue-skin end of the costume. Just remember to cover your junk, or you’ll get arrested.

Final Destination

The Final Destination, a 3D horror film, is still reigning at the top at the US box office for a consecutive second  week. All About Steve, a romantic comedy is close second. Final Destination is the fourth movie of the thriller sequel. The film earned around $12.4 million dollars.

A close second is “All About Steve” with a box office earning of $11.2 million. the film stars Sandra Bullock playing the role of a cracked crossword puzzle compiler in search of love. Gamer, a sci-fi thriller is rocking at number four with Gerard Butler in the lead role.

Quentin Tarantino’s war film Inglourious Basterds, which had been topping the chard for quite sometime, has dropped down to number three with an earning of $10.8 million. The thrid place is also shared by The Ugly Truth. The film was released in US in the last week of July.

District 9 is rounds up the top 5 movies in the US box office. The film is produced by Peter Jackson, the director of Lord of the Rings. It is an extra-terrestrial movie that has bagged home around $7 million. Extract with a box office earning of $4.2 million is the only new release in the top 10 US movie chart. This comedy films stars Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Jolie and Pitt are always in news for good reasons. The couple was present for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Nazi-killing flick “Inglourious Basterds”, on Monday night at Los Angeles. Surrounded by thousands of fans Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt talked candidly about their active ad very interesting love life, their kids and twins and the possibility of tying knots.

Earlier in an interview for Parade the 45 year old actor labeled their secret grotto as “a great place for sex”. When Jolie was asked by Extra to put some light on this, the actress added, “Yeah, well, we got a few special places. You keep it going”.

There are not much chances of the couple getting married anytime in the near future. Pitt said that he will be sticking to his comment strongly that they won’t think of wedding until all couples were allowed to marry legally in the United States. The actor added, “I did say that, so now I’m stuck with it”.

Jolie is also comfortable with Pitt’s decision since the actor recently called her his “soulmate”. In a statement Jolie was quoted as saying, “That is very cool. Well, he’s mine. It is what it is”.

Angelina, who appeared in a skin-tight black leather dress, spoke very affectionately about their a year old twins. “The twins are great. They’re walking. I hope to get all of my kids involved [in humanitarian efforts]. I hope to raise them properly so that they have a good conscience, and they’re good people”.
