Even though her mother doesn’t approve of her tastes in guys Miley still wants to date someone who she thinks will be her dream man. Her perfect date would be tall and dark. At a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest on the KIIS-FM radio show, the Hannah Montana star reveals, that she would love to date a 16 or 17 year old Guitar player who loves Coldplay. However she should have some trouble convincing her mother of her choice. Cyrus has made a number of appearances on promotional shows for her latest album and also for her new movie that hits theaters in 2009.
The Disney star has always been in the middle of rumors and controversies, that have not reduced her popularity though. She still is the frontrunner among all the Disney wannabes including Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. A video posted on Youtube some months ago by Miley and her friend Mandy, spoofed Gomez and Lovato. Miley has since apologized for what she did and has said that she is “supersorry”. However she explains that it was not supposed to hurt someone and was meant as a joke. The video shows Miley 15 and her friend Mandy Jiroux 20, dressed as Selena and Demi. Even though the two disney stars have not made up yet Miley wanted Gomez to take the entire episode in the right spirit.

Selena Gomez is not dating Nick Jonas as has been reported widely by tabloid rumor mills. Even though she has been seen around the brothers quite a few times also appearing in their video for “Burnin Up”. Selena and Nick were reportedly an item were supposed to have been dating for several months. However Selena makes it clear that she is not interested in dating any one of the Jonas Brothers. The 16 year old Disney Star reveals however that her real interest lies in Shia LeBeouf.
Selena admits that she has a huge crush on the Even Stevens star and wants to work with him on future projects. Fellow disney star and hot competitor Miley who has been linked to Nick Jonas before doesn’t want to be linked with anyone for now. She hates it when any guy she goes out with is made to be her boy friend. The Hannah Montana star is presently gearing up for a new milestone in her life, her 16th birthday. That is when she qualifies for a driver’s license. The Hannah Montana Movie is due to hit screens in 2009. The rivalry between Selena and Miley has been brewing for quite some time now. With tough competition between the two teen queens fans are just waiting for a cat fight between the two. Check out the video where Miley and her friend Mandy spoofs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. Looks like the Vanity Fair photo shoot was a well orchestrated move by the not-so young star after all. According to reports Miley Cyrus seems to be interested in a new movie that would feature her in the lead role of a suburban girl, whose life goes to ruins when she embarks on the path of hard partying and embraces recklessness.If the deal does come through Miley is set to do more then what she has yet done in the leaked internet photos and the infamous photo shoot.
Even though it is too early to comment on the final cast, talks are on and Miley seems to be very interested in the new movie role that would definitly be far removed from her teen queen status since she would have to do nude scenes in the movie. The Hannah Montana girl is definitely trying hard to grow up as fast as she can since she knows that her days as the famous Disney Star are numbered. Not too long ago Disney the parent channel itself had shown interest in lauching Selena Gomez as the next Miley. Competition is tough with the likes of Selena and Demi Lovato fast gaining ground, so it is more then necessary to start relating to an adult audience. Her recent album Breakout is a step towards this goal. With the new movie Miley is sure to send the right kind of messages to her fans. She doesn’t want to leave the industry soon and therefore has to move on from being just another child star. The ‘Undiscovered Gyrl’ based on a novel written by Alison Burnet seems to be an interesting lauchpad for the 15 year old.

It’s great to be a teen star when you are 15, however when the attention gets a little overboard celebrities often face the music. Miley Cyrus seems to be heading to the same burn down that so may hundreds have gone before her. Even though the 15 year old Hannah Montana star loves all the attention she does admit that having her life chronicled 24/7 is kind of “weird”. Presently filming for the Hannah Montana film Miley in the last few days has been making as many appearances as she can in order to promote her latest album Breakout that releases today.
News streaming in about the album describe it as a rendition that is quite removed from the teen stars image. Very different from her previous album Breakout presents Miley all grown up. The album has 12 songs 10 of which have been cowritten by the actor singer herself. These include Breakout, 7 Things, The Driveaway, Full Circle, Bottom Of The Ocean, Wake Up America, Simple Song, Goodbye, See You Again (Rock Mafia Remix), Fly On The Wall. The other two includes songs like These Four Walls and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun which has Cyrus singing her own version of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”.The teen star is known to be gracious with all the attention that she is getting at such an early age. Instead of complaining about the obvious she chooses to take it in her stride. The extra publicity and the interest that she generates everywhere makes her feel good. However the song says more about the singers overworked existence rather then the fun that she is having. In related updates there’s more good news for Miley fans with her 7 Things song being nominated for the Best Female Video. There’s every chance of her winning it. So lets prey hard for Miley!!

Miley Cyrus continues to do tough work on the sets of Santa Monica where she is filming for “Hannah Montana: The Movie“. The California shoot started some days ago and the Hannah Montana Star has been filming for quite some time now. On Wednesday July 16th Miley was seen shooting with a microphone in her hand. However hard work and tough shooting schedules does not make the star lose her sense of humor.
So in between shooting the scenes the Disney star was seen joking around and smiling away with the other cast and crew members. Destiny Hope Cyrus better known by her stage name Miley Cyrus made her debut in the year 2006. This was with the show Hannah Montana that made her an overnight sensation, the same year Disney also released a soundtrack CD which was also super successful. By December 2007 the Disney star had entered the Forbes Top Twenty earners not above 25. However her success has not been all sweet with her name getting dragged in a lot of controversies from the time that she had tasted fame. The latest blow had been some controversial leaked photos on the internet. However Miley goes about working on the sets and keeping to her shooting schedules just like a professional. Her movie is about to be released on May 1st 2009.

At least director Brett Ratner thinks so… The well known veteran who is respected in Hollywood for churning out hit videos like Madonna’s “Beautiful Stranger” for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me says that he sees shades of the material girl in the Hannah Montana girl.
The latest comparisons come in after he had shot with the star for the song “7 things” that is part of her first album Breakout that is slated to release on July 22nd. Directing stars like Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman in his directorial venture X-Men: The Last Stand, comes easy to this Hollywood biggie. He is sure to know chalk from cheese since he has worked with superstars like Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson too. According to Ratner many high profile artists are often nervous and anxious when in front of the camera but the grace with which the material girl does her work is exceptional. Madonna can just walk in and give a power packed performance in front of the camera. Miley in some senses is similar according to the X-Men director. He feels that Miley has the same ease and confidence when she is on the sets. He was shocked to get several requests from friends and close ones to come and see Miley on the sets. This he admits has never happened to him even when he has worked with some big names in Hollywood. This will be the first outing for the 15 year old star away from her Hannah Montana persona.

Miley Cyrus might have been doing her thing in the big bad world of Hollywood but her heart seems to be in the right place. She was recently spotted in a fundraiser organized by the Nashville Star judge Jeffrey Steele and helped them to have a good time. The crowd were cheering her on when she took to the stage and performed Steele’s “Hollywood Girl”. Most of the kid skaters came away and joined the crowd when they Miley on stage.
The fund raising attempt is for Alex LeVasseur Fund that was created after Steele’s son the 13 year old avid skateboarder was killed in an accident. There has been a joint effort by the family to create a fund in his memory. The charitable effort is an year old and in the second fund raiser there had been a number of star performances. This included Grammy winner Michael McDonald, Billy Ray Cyrus and the Steele himself. Everyone was in for a beautiful surprise when Miley came upto the stage and asked Steel if she could perform along with him.

And you thought the age of teen stars had gone for good, then think again. Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is riding the popularity charts. She is set to make millions in sales from her latest music albums. Added to this are her sold out tours and concerts that leave her fans craving for more. Ranked 35 among the top 100 celebrities of this year her gross pay is about $ 25 million.
Phew!! That’s a lot of money for a 15 year old. Miley has recently started working in her debut film. This would be based on the original Disney Series that made her famous Hannah Montana. She has also signed a book deal and would also lend her voice in Bolt, an animated canine comedy.
