Known to the world as the quirky Monica the character she played in Friends Courtney just like her other co-stars have not achieved the kind of success that they had tasted while being part of Friends.
With rumors of a reunion for a Friends movie being squashed and her own show Dirt being canceled fans were a little disappointed by the no show. However it seems that you can’t keep the actor down as she will be back for a three-episode guest spot in the eight season in the situational comedy Scrubs that is due to be aired on ABC. With Dr. Kelso’s retirement soon kicking in, she is to be the new chief of medicine of sacred Heart Hospital. The casting coup was envisioned as a move to give the show a much needed boost. No matter what, this is the kind of content that fans can look out for after a not so admirable performance as the editor Lucy Spiller in Dirt.

In 2008 The Sex and the City film had stunned movie observers by earning millions of dollar after its release. After this tremendous success, there has been massive speculation regarding the fact that one of the best success stories in US sitcom history Friends is to make its debut in the silver screen too.
Rumors speculated that Friends stars including Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt Le Blanc were in negotiations with Warner Brothers for making a comeback in a Friends movie. However the studio itself announced that the rumors were baseless. Spokesperson for David Shwimmer and some other actors have also denied their involvement. The tale of six close friends who live together in New York City and share their experiences and quirky lives with each other was an instant success with the characters of Ross, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler, Rachel and Joey becoming household names overnight. Speculation as to what they would do next has haunted the stars right from the time they parted ways in the year 2004.
