Emma Watson is not the new face of Chanel as had been reported earlier by news sources. The representatives of the brand were quick to issue a statement announcing that there were no deals signed with the Harry Potter star and that they had no plans to make her the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance.
Emma’s $6 million 2 year contract with the well known perfume house had been a subject of widespread coverage and more so since she was replacing one of the hottest stars in Hollywood today Keira Knightley. Knightley is one of the most famous faces in the industry with a number of brand endorsements under her belt. Her hot image makes the star quite a bankable business endorsement for any organization. Emma on the other hand is just coming of age and still has a long way to go before she can give the likes of Knightley a run for their money.
