Daniel Craig loves to flaunt

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig

Present 007 spy Daniel Craig wants to show off his new dresses. He revealed that he is finicky about what he wears at shows and socialite night outs. He also likes the fact that being an actor he can “dress up and show off”.

Craig told how his career as an actor carried forward his opportunities to dress up outrageously and flaunt his stuff and talent to be precise. He said he was honest enough to reveal that “You get into acting for the chase. It’s dressing up and showing off…” Craig now stands rock solid with his “exhibitionist” tag.

But the star insisted that he was aware of getting carried away by all that. He does not ever want to become self-obsessed or arrogant about his talent.

Daniel also revealed that his present stardom with his reprising role as ruthless British spy James Bond for a second time in ‘Quantum of Solace’ has not made him sober. He revealed that he has had his share of brawls. He has been involved in several fights and physical altercations during his nights out.

USA Today quoted him : “Bar-room brawls? I’ve done maybe two or three, and I’ve never been particularly successful at them. They’re always very quick, and then suddenly you’re outside and you don’t know quite how you got there.”
Craig though insisted that people should keep oneself humble. “…Anybody who starts to think they’re sexy immediately becomes unsexy.” Craig must be keeping himself grounded in order to fight his urge to show off everytime he decides to flaunt and showcase himself.

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig has come a long way since his Casino Royale days.He uses stunts where he has to risk his limbs. He has had his share of accidents and scares. He has been reading Bond novels a lot these days. He finds it tougher than his predecessor Bond actors to bring out perfection as James Bond. He feels it must have been easier for past Bond characters as there was no such pressure as the present day to use more and more high frame risk stunts. The public has grown watching high action in Bond films and so quite obviously with each passing day Bond films are dsure to entail more sweating out by newer actors like him who would have to fit the bill. He explains, “How do you impress people when there are couples who go away on weekends… and camp out on top of a mountain and jump off? ” Craig reasons that these days people are used to live life larger, faster and in a more dangerous manner. Craig insists that his forerunners might have had it real easy because truly action sports and daredevil pastimes are much more extreme these days than they ever used to be - and Bond has to be seen to be more of an action man than filmgoers’ neighbours and friends. Craig knows that Bond fans have already started expecting a huge thing from 007 stunts and so he has to risk his like and limbs to get things right.
