Britney Spears is back to news and this time with a new controversy. The singer fumes a message for the critics who blasted her performance while she was on her first tour of Australia. Britney stated that it’s all for the fans.

It is reported that her her first Australian performance last weekend was boring, stiff, mimed and lacking interaction with the audience. Spears’ manager along with the tour promoter hurried to support the U.S. pop singer after much of those present took a leave from the show due to the same.

The 27 year old pop diva was back to rebuild her career after much of a roller-coaster personal life that created controversial headlines, has responded to the outburst.

“I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show. Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans”, said Spears that has been widely criticized by the Australian media.

Paul Dainty, the promoter of Spears’ Australian tour, have been quoted as saying earlier this week that the criticism roused by the media about Spears’ lip-synching and a lackluster performance had left her “extremely upset”. He also claimed that it was a total fabrication to suggest that fans stormed out. The debate over lip-synching has been surrounding Spears since she arrived in Australia last week.

Spears’ personal website and Twitter account was flooded with personal messages from her thousands of Australian fans, who stated the her comeback as “amazing,” “awesome” and “brilliant”.

After Britney Spears, now it’s Pink with a circus themed show. And the pop singer regrets staging the show for her ongoing world tour “Funhouse.” She is being constantly compared to Britney, who launched her “Circus” tour in US early this March.

Pop singer Pink is taking her world tour to the United States this summer. But, she has come under the eye of critics who are accusing her of copying Britney’s “Circus” tour. Both Britney and Pink’s tours are based on the title of their latest albums. Both the singers have dancers in colorful costumes, acrobats, and wild acts in their stage shows.

Pink, however, denies copying Britney. Her album released last year just weeks before Britney’s album release, and she is emphatic that she was oblivious to the trend. “Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction. I was six months before that and didn’t really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I’m pretty out of the loop,” said Pink.

FHM has declared their new pick of 2009 Sexiest Woman Alive. Cheryl Cole of Girls Aloud has been voted to top the list. Last year’s winner, Megan Fox, was pushed to number two this year. This has been a huge jump for Cheryl, who secured 7th place in 2008.

“It’s been a revolutionary year in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World poll – as old favorites such as Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz are rejected in favor of a new wave of female talent“, said Chris Bell, the editor of FHM.

Britney Spears, the pop diva, who came 4th this year, has made a huge leap from the 31st position in the last year. Over 100 million readers participated in the poll this year and tthis is the first time in three years that a British star has come first in the Sexiest Woman Alive poll.

Pop diva Britney Spears is perplexed on coming to know of a property millionaire´s claim that he is engaged to her.

The superstar was romantically linked with a dancer on her Circus comeback tour. A few weeks after her return from the tour, a 40-year-old land developer John Sundahl announced that he has been dating her on and off since they met in rehab in 2007. He also added that he and the superstar are planning a spring wedding in Germany. This story comes from an interview that was given by Sundahl´s personal pilot Lance Chase to the National Enquirer.

This is what Chase said in the interview: ¨Britney and John used to date, but they reconnected after her show in New Jersey, and now they’re engaged. He got down on one knee in a Subway sandwich shop in Santa Monica (California) a week ago and proposed with a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond. They plan on getting married at his aunt’s farm in Germany in six weeks.¨

New York Daily News approached the millionaire himself to get the story verified. And, he backed it up.  “Britney doesn’t want to do anything until the tour is over. She wants press for her tour and not for an engagement.”

Britney, however, was surprised to know about her own marriage. It was news to the popstar, who divorced hers econd husband Kevin Federline in 2007. Her representative has ridiculed Sundahl´s claims and has said ”Britney is not engaged. She did not get proposed to at Subway – she is currently on tour – she is not getting married on a farm in Germany. Oh, and she has not been abducted by aliens.”

Getting her personal and professional life back on track costed Britney Spears legal fees amounting to $2.7 million. Of that, $417,000 was the price she had to pay to divorce Kevin Federline, and win over the custody of their children. The pop star had been married to Kevin for two-and-a-half years.

The legal costs were shown in papers filed by attorneys who were appointed by Britney’s father Jamie Spears to settle matters with Kevin in court. Fees given to the lawyers alone totaled $1 million. Lawyer Geraldine Wyle wrote “Since the initiation of the conservatorship, as a result of the concerted efforts of Mr. Spears as well as the professionals involved, all aspects of Ms. Spears’s life have been stabilized and continue to improve.” Now that the legal matters are over and Kevin is out of her life, Britney’s life and mental health is improving noticeably. She has got her children back; she is on the ‘Circus‘ tour; she is out of her troubled marriage. Price well paid!

Britney Spears was in Miami for her “Circus” tour. A few hours before she took the stage, the young pop singer visited a group of sick children at Miami Children’s Hospital.

The surprise visit turned out to be more than pleasant when the pop diva donated a sum of $100,000 to the hospitals Big Apple Circus Clown Care program. The program has medically trained clowns who visit the kids and put on little shows at the hospital for the children.

The 27 year old star posed with the ill children to click photographs on her visit to the hospital. She spend a considerable amount of time there talking and laughing with the children before hitting the stage. She played the American Airlines Arena, which became a big hit that night.

“She took pictures with the kids and gave them autographed pictures. The kids were so excited to meet Britney, and having her here was a great distraction for them”, said the hospital spokesperson.

Britney Spears starts her ‘Circus’ tour, an event in Britney’s life after a gap of nearly five years. Britney’s ‘Circus’ tour started off last night(3rd march,2009) at New Orleans Arena. Britney’s much anticipated tour has left her family all thrilled and excited. Fans,friends and family are praying for Britney’s recent tour to touch and reach the highest state.

The tour had frenzied concert goers who were seen frantically Twitting away the event. Britney wowed her home crowd. The media members and fans had lined up hours before to get the tour memorabilia as well as to prove their faith and loyalty towards the Pop Queen.

Britney’s comeback is the much talked about affair. The pop star has had a troubled life in her 27 years of career, fame and fortune. The show reportedly received huge reaction with more and more fans seen buying the tickets. “A lot of people got tickets really early,” Travis Bergeron, a Britney fan, said.

Britney as thought, before, did not disappoint her fans and audience. Britney’s aunt Linda Ann Brandon-Kjos said : “I am so excited for her, and I wish I could be there.” Britney’s public meltdown had kept her family all worried about the tour. And now Britney brood is all excited and lending their support for the pop songstress.

The tour opened up with a stellar performance by Pussycat Dolls. The audience wanted for more and the tone was set right for the nihgt. Britney’s song list included a 16 song set – some which were “Radar,” “Boys,” a “Gimme More” remix, “Everytime,” “Me Against the Music” backed by Bollywood-inspired dancers, “Do Somethin’,” the more than suggestive “Touch of My Hand” and the pleasantly controversial “If U Seek Amy.” Then came the greatest hits part which came quite obviously in the coveted end of the show. These included “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Toxic” and “…Baby One More Time” and of course “Womanizer”.

Britney Spears stunned the audience by entering in a slammer. The 27 year old pop star descended from the ceiling and dove into “Circus” and then “Piece of Me,” off of 2007’s ‘Blackout’. The stripper poles were made good use of by the pop diva. Britney also enjoyed her performance alongside her dancers who were treated like special stuff by Britney.

There were sparks, there were whistles and then there was a thrilling chill that ran down the spines of the lucky ones to be present. Britney obliged all. She thanked and bid adieu, wishing the audience a sweet goodnight.

Adnan Ghalib and Britney Spears

Adnan Ghalib, a former boyfriend of Britney Spears, is charged by the prosecutors with three criminal  offenses, which includes assault with a deadly weapon.

Ghalib had reportedly hit a process server with his car just outside his apartment on January 30th. The person had come to deliver him papers with notification from Britney Spears’ father and attorneys that they were seeking a holding order against him.

According to reports and the process server’s statement he has clung to the hood of Ghalib’s car to avoid being pinned and in the process broke his wrist. Ghalib, who is a 36 year old paparazzi, has not been arrested yet. He is also charged with battery and hit-and-run accusations. Lawyers and police stated that his current phone is not working and Ghalib could not be located. He was supposed to appear in court on Monday, which he missed.

Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson who is Britney’s family friend has revealed that Jamie Spears played a pivotal role in turning Britney away from her troubled waters. Mel said that Jamie stood throughout Britney’s darkest hours. Mel says that Britney owes it all (her triumphant comeback) to her father.

The ‘Braveheart’ actor says : “She pulled herself out, and her dad… he’s the real hero”. According to Gibson, had Jamie not been present as a guiding light in Britney’s life and career, the singer, according to Gibson might not have been able to pull herself through. Mel gave all kudos to Jamie for making her daughter’s career a proper resurrection. Britney is presently back with her success ratio. Though Britney needs a long way to go, but her normal life has been made possible by her father.

Mel Gibson explained why he reached out to the star by inviting her to dinner in March last year, after her father gained conservatorship. Mel added : “She’s a nice kid, y’know. She was just going through a rough patch. You see kids that you know in the industry… I just felt like this poor kid is lining up to be stoned. I just thought, ‘I wonder if anyone is reaching out to her,’ so I just called her and she’s doing great now”.
