The Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie has put on 13lbs for her role in musical movie ‘Nine’. She stars alongside Nicole Kidman. She had to be on calorific diets to get her perfect weight for her role as a prostitute Saraghina.
She said: “I have to give the bad food up now! So, yeah - I’m in that phase! Back to diet designs - my food delivery service!…”
33 year old singer found it hard to maintain her strict food regime. She said everything else seemed just fine except for the fact that she loved pumpkin pie.
She added to Usmagazine.com : “I like a good pumpkin pie - that’s my favourite - with homemade whipped cream. Whipped cream from scratch. I’ll eat it for breakfast, always.”
Fergie revealed her desperate attempt to lose weight before she weds fiance Josh Duhamel. She admitted she had to have several things that she never could have before. She ate all things fried like fish and chips.
Her mouth-wattering reminiscence of good food resounded in her words : “You can do creative things with food though. You know, turkey isn’t fattening - you can do that. A little bit of gravy. Or have a nice big salad!” She singer was sad for being able to indulge herself in good food/food of her choice.

This year Fashion Rocks is sure to be an event to remember with some of the big names signing up to be part of the event on September 5th that airs on CBS after 4 days. The artists singing in this musical extravaganza that is considered to be a platform where fashion meets music.
The performers who are all set to rock the fashion fiesta include such famous names like Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Fergie, Beyonce Knowles and Black Eyed Peas.There would also be performers like Justin Timberlake Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Kid Rock, Duffy and Keith Urban. The concert will take place this year at New York’s Radio City Muisc Hall. All the proceeds that are notched up from the concert will go to Stand Up To Cancer. This is the fifth time in a row that Fashion Rocks is being held with help from sponsors like Verizon Wireless, CoverGirl, Kohl’s, Chevrolet and Nivea. With its growing popularity Fashion Rocks has inspired a Movies Rock concert where artists perform age old classics. A Fashion Rocks magazine is also supposed to come out at the same time.

Black Eyed Peas rapper Taboo got a picture perfect wedding on Saturday when he tied the knot with his fiancé Jaymie Dizon on July 12th. The wedding ceremony was held at the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pasadena. After this the couple is supposed to go off on a honeymoon. Taboo whose real name is Jaime Gomez will be back to the grind working on the solo album that is planned for a release in the later part of the year.
Among those that were invited to the ceremony names included the Black Eyed Peas band members will.i.am and Apl de ap. Fergie came along with her own fiancé the sexy Transformers star Josh Duhamel. The “Big Girls Don’t Cry” singer has been seen flashing her engagement ring for quite some time. However there are no dates fixed yet and news of the upcoming wedding hasn’t seen the light of day.

Will I Am
This rapper from the Black Eyed Peas fame is flying high with his debut movie appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolvervine. This is a real career high for the rapper who is surely not satisfied with shelling out some chart topping albums or producing Michael Jackson’s new album.
The movie to be filmed in New Zealand has the frontman from Black Eyed Peas playing a teleporting mutant who can work with high level explosives. His character Wraith is the subject of a test program called Weapon X that created Wolvervine played by actor Hugh Jackman. The movie is set to release in May 1st, 2009. Other actors to give the rapper company would be stars like Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Reynolds. Will.i.am has also been in the news recently for his pro-Obama video “Yes We Can” that’s a follow up to the hugely popular “We Are The Ones”. Some of the well known stars who featured in this video include names like Malcolm Jamal Warner, George Lopez, Ryan Phillipe, Kerry Washington and Jessica Alba.
