Beyonce Knowles will be performing in Malaysia sometime very soon. Beyonce is determined to appear for a show to be hosted in Malaysia in October. Two years back one of her shows was called off after there were much protests threatening to disrupt the concert because of her sexy image and clothing.

Malaysia is a conservative country where a large part of the population are Muslim.  According to the rules and regulation followed by the country, every female performer will have to cover up from the shoulders to knees with no cleavage showing. There are much speculation already fueling the fire as how the  R&B superstar will present herself on the stage.

The musical show will take place at a stadium in the biggest city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, on 25th October. Beyonce wrote on her website, “Beyonce for the first time ever has decided to make Malaysia part of her I am World Tour”.

Beyonce was scheduled for a concert in Malaysia two years ago, which she has to cancel following protest threats by Malaysia’s opposition Islamic party. The R&B superstar has to head for Indonesia instead. Her publicist has said that Indonesia is less strict when it comes to attire and behavior of a performer.

The youth vice head of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, Sabki Yusof,have been quoted as saying that it was the government’s “responsibility to protect the people of Malaysia” from what he described as immoral Western influences. He would soon be forwarding a  protest note to the government, he mentioned.

Sabki also added, “We are not against entertainment as long as it is within the framework of our culture and our religion. We are against Western sexy performances. We don’t think our people need that”.

Earlier celebrated singers like Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani have performed in Malaysia under similar protest threats by conservative Muslims.

This weekend’s box-office winner was “Obsessed” which has already grossed an unexpected $28.5 million. In the thriller, Beyoncé Knowles is engaged in some rough fist-bashing and hair-pulling action against co-star Ali Larter, who plays the woman trying to steal Beyoncé’s man.

The two ladies made full use of their chance to do some catfighting, and fought enthusiastically during the film’s climatic final fight. “We went for it like, ‘You clock, I clock,’ ” Larter said. “A little head-butting, some kicks in there — we went for it. We got bruised up. We spent a week shooting it.“

Beyoncé said “I had so much fun, because I’m a lover — I’m not a fighter…But I got to fight!” Larter praised Beyoncé, whose neck she tries to wring in the film, “[Beyoncé's] amazing. She did it in four-innch heels.”

In “Obsessed,” Larter plays Lisa whose violent attachment to her co-worker Derek leads her to snatch him away from his wife Sharon (played by Beyoncé). Larter’s role is challenging as Lisa is a woman on the edge without going too far. “You never want to play crazy,” says Larter. “You have to play from a place of love.

“You have to believe that what she’s doing in her head is completely rational,” Larter continued. “Even though it may seem crazy to the outside world, to her she’s falling in love with this man and he’s giving her signals. She really sees them and believes that they’re meant to be together. Her behavior asks the question, ‘How far will you go for love?’ “

Beyoncé Knowles, and Ali Larter in “Obsessed” are a sight to watch and enjoy. Their fight seems real as the bring life to the action sequence between the two female leads.

Kim Kardashian of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” fame has something new to show off. Her Hair color. Kardashian proudly showed off her blonde locks on Twitter Sunday. “I WENT BLONDE!!!! Do u like it?” Kardashian wrote, followed by, “One more blonde pic!” and “I’m LOVING my blonde hair!“

Kim Kardashian’s new look strikingly resembles that of Beyonce Knowles, who has experimented with hair color for years. Knowles has lightened and darkened her naturally black hair many times. Now Kardashian has made her hair all blonde and she likes it. Ahem. But its not real, and so, it is not going to stay for long.

“It’s a wig! Did I have you fooled?” she wrote on her Web site Monday. “I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend and they put this hair piece on! It’s making me want to dye my hair and maybe go lighter for the summer,” says the Kardashian girl.

Well, so much for the black haired Kim Kardasian going blonde.

Beyonce came to news a few days back all because of alleged false reports claiming that the star was not keen to get back to her pet. The news that circulated irked the Peta bosses who ordered for an enquiry. Peta had earlier admonished and criticised Beyonce and even went to state legal systems for perverting Peta’s cause(wearing fur for fashion).

Now as the thing stands, Peta has taken back their case and closed the case releasing Beyonce of all the dishonour. They beliegve that Beyonce had never left her pet with her company staff and let the dog go astray.

Peta bosses have closed their investigation surrounding Beyonce’s pet shih tzu after learning reports the singer has abandoned her dog are nonsense. There were several internet reports that said that the busy singer had left her Pet with her New York  record company staffs. But Peta has ruled out all such allegations.

The Internet reports suggested that the pop star had dumped Munchie with staff at her record label in New York a year ago because of her pet’s growing misbehaving nature. The officials at the animal rights group have discovered there’s no truth to the rumours.

The Peta people wanted to make sure Beyonce hadn’t abandoned her pet so they made calls and investigated. They are said to be happy in the knowledge that Beyonce hasn’t dumped her dog.

A spokeswoman for Peta says, “We’ve had an up and down relationship with Beyonce over her past fur-wearing, but lately it’s been on the ups, as she hasn’t been seen in fur the past two winters. We were happy to learn from Beyonce’s rep that, as we suspected, the Munchie tale is far from the truth, and that the dog hasn’t even been to therecord company’s offices in months”.

The singer’s publicist has told the Peta researchers that Munchie is “a pampered pooch whom everyone adores,” adding Beyonce and her cousin, the dog’s main caretaker, are “still crazy in love with him”. The spokeswoman says, “Because they travel quite a bit, Munchie is usually left with family or friends. Never at the record company. We are glad to hear that Beyonce isn’t leaving her baby boy behind, and we’re certainly happy to hear that Munchie is irreplaceable to his guardians”.

The case is closed and the bad blood between Peta and Beyonce is decreasing with time.

Beyonce is up for some real trouble. Officials at animal rights group Peta have launched an investigation after reading reports about Beyonce’s abandoning of her pet shih tzu.

Internet reports suggested that the singer dumped her five-year-old Munchie with staff at her New York record company a year ago, and hasn’t been back ever since.

Beyonce has never come back to claim her pet. This has enraged the animal rights group Peta who feel that Beyonce in spite of her busy work schedule should be able to take care of her pet.

Beyonce has been incredibly busy recently, recording and promoting her Sasha Fierce album.

A Columbia source tells MusicToob.com that label employees have been looking after Beyonce’s dog, stating, “They are taking turns to take Munchie for walks and take it home on

the evenings and weekends. Everyone realises that Beyonce has been incredibly busy recently, recording and promoting her Sasha Fierce album. But the whole team will be glad when she eventually takes charge of the dog for herself again”.

And the report has prompted the animal rights group to investigate whether or not Beyonce really has just dumped her dog. A spokesman says, “We have an inquiry in with Columbia”.

Beyonce has topped the charts according to Billboards. Beyonce’s No. 1 debut on the pop album chart with the double-disc “I Am … Sasha Fierce,” scored her third straight No. 1 debut on the pop album chart.

Billboards had seven top 20 debuts in a week. Nickelback’s “Dark Horse” sold 326,000 to start at No. 2. The Canadian rock outfit spent an astonishing 156 weeks on the chart with its previous album, 2005’s “All the Right Reasons,” whose sales total 6.97 million to date.

AC/DC’s “Black Ice” was in top 10 after falling from No. 6. The album sold 73,000 copies in its fifth week of exclusive release via Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, bringing its total to 1.39 million.

Beyonce’s The Music World/Columbia album ended the week with a whopping sale of 482,000 copies in the United States. The album sees Beyonce belting out hits like “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” with her new alter ego Sasha Fierce.
Beyonce’s 2003 solo debut, “Dangerously in Love,” started with 317,000, while 2006’s “B-Day” moved 541,000.

Beyonce Knowles talked about her marriage and the things that she could have done if she was not married. Beyonce Knowles known for her tight lipped nature when asked about her marriage has revealed her thoughts about tying the knot. The 27 year old pop star who is married to music mogul Jay-Z said “I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else” about her early marriage.

She said how difficult it was for her “Before the age of 25, I would never get married,” to make the decision when all her life she wanted to do was to wait for the right moment and the right time to settle down with the right person.

We can get an insight into her thoughts about marriage : “I really don’t believe that you will love the same thing when you’re 20 as you do at 30.”

Asked whether she could learn anything about life, from her musical husband, she said , “I guess probably that we’re all human.” “I don’t care if you’re picture-perfect on every magazine cover, and you’re the most handsome, successful, coolest guy,” says Beyoncé. “You still get sad, and you still get your feelings hurt, and you still get confused and vulnerable and nervous and scared. You have to find a person you can make it through the tough times with.”

Beyonce also talked about her star image and her worries about her performances. She said that she found it proper to study her past performances so that she always found ways to improve. “I have my YouTube days, when I watch every performance,” she says. “I listen to my music, and I watch my videos to figure out what I need to do, what I need to fix, and how to become a better singer,” Beyonce said.
Beyonce’s new album comes up on Monday. “I Am … Shasha Fierce” is her new album. She also talked about her upcoming album in her interview. She also said that she always wanted to have a a strong sense of self before making a lifelong commitment to anyone.

Beyonce Knowles has finally brought out the kitty out of her bag. She has revealed how difficult the times were when she was the lead singer for Destiny’s Child. She insisted that she was not the one to blame. In 1999 LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson broke out of the band. Both of them filed suit against the band’s manager and Knowles’ father, Matthew, claiming favoritism.

The singer said that she was young then and was definitely an easy target. So everyone had blamed her for their departure. Knowles and band mate Kelly Rowland had already risen to superstardom with new member Michelle Williams. She said she and her father had tried to bring together the band which lived like a family all the time they were a band.

She said she was to be blamed because she was the lead singer : “…That was the first time I had to deal with rumors and people attacking me. I was an 18-year-old kid, so I didn’t understand it was just a part of this life and it wasn’t personal. I didn’t have a thick skin yet. I was so embarrassed and wanted to defend myself and please everybody.”

The Destiny’s Child trio eventually parted ways in 2005. And Beyonce is not the one to take the pain of all the “blame game”. Her opening up about the split proves her being on the denial side. Till then we can count on the other former band members’ reactions after they read about it all !

The 9 striking performances along with a funny and “fruity” debut performance by the host Katy Perry, the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards was a blast last night. Between the performances the pranks and chaff  from the VIP bar at the Glamour Pit added to the wit of the show.

The 15th  MTV Europe Music Awards was opened by  Katy Perry, who came riding on  a Cherry Chapstick surrounded by cheerleaders in a performance of ‘I Kissed A Girl’. Beyoncé stole the hearts of millions with her third performance at  MTV EMAs. She fascinated the audience with a heartwarming performance of new single ‘If I Were A Boy’.  Take That was a show stealer even after their 15 years break. They made a come back to the EMAs hypnotizing the audience with an exclusive first performance of their new single, ‘Greatest Day’. The Killers performed ‘Human’ in a steel box installation that came with an arresting three dimensional visual. The versatility of the set  was revealed after the screen was unveiled up to reveal the performance of the band.

Among the debutant performers Kanye West and Estelle both made a remarkable entry. They performed ‘Love Lockdown,’ and ‘American Boy’ in style with full vigor. The Ting Tings, also had their debut performance, who performed their hit single, ‘That’s Not My Name’. ‘So Hot’, the  new single of  Kid Rock, received huge applaud from the audience. Duffy performed ‘Mercy’, which was her debut performance in the MTV Europe Music Awards. The Wombats  rocked the stage with a performance of a cover version of Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’, establishing the  MTV’s love affair with Liverpool yet another time.

The closing performance by P!nk added to the grandeur of  the fifteenth MTV Europe Music Awards. Her spectacularly energetic performance of ‘So What’ simply stormed the audience. Raving from the  glamour pit through the crowds to the stage, P!nk  was soon joined by over 30 crazy fans who ended up in a pillow fight. In the end the whole audience were showered with 40,000 4-inch white feathers.

Beyonce Knowles the uber cool singing sensation has revealed her uncool married life. She is married to rap mogul Jay-Z. She has romanced Jay-Z for six years and still she does not find perfection in her marriage. She has had her share of disagreements. R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles insists that her married life is “not perfect” – because they experience the same problems as normal couples.

She married his partner in April, and she admits that she has had a fair share of conflicts in her six year romance. She admits : We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush. We don’t have a normal relationship because of our careers. But celebrity or not, you go through the exact same things. We’re not perfect,” which goes on to prove that she lived in  her whims. Although she says that she is extremely happy and loves her settled life as Mrs. Shawn ‘Jay-Z’  Carter. Knowles said that this was her first relationship and she is a very private person but in spite of that she does not want talk about all this in public, but all she could say in the end was : “…but I’m very, very happy. That’s all I’ll say.”
