Anne Hathaway’s mystery boyfriend has been revealed. Actor Adam Shulman is the man. Anne had revealed to the Press in October that her new found love was from L.A. She had said, “This guy I know…is kind of doing it for me right now. When I think of sexy, I think of him.” She had also asked the press to pray for her. The Press Reporters present in the meet were asked by Anne to pray for the new and hot guy.

The “Rachel Getting Married” actress refused to reveal his name. The couple has been spotted enjoying a break together in New Orleans, Louisiana where she is busy promoting her movie.

After her disastrous relationship with Follieri, 26-year-old Anne revealed in October her love for the new man. Raffaello Follieri’s jail term and her split with him saw her through rough times.

Shulman, 27 - the former star of TV series “American Dreams” - confessed to Life & Style magazine, “We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne. We’ve never been to New Orleans before - it’s our first time.”

Anne had not revealed her present status in October when she had said that, “You know when you don’t know someone very well you just meet them and you’re like, ‘Wow, you really have it going on’?” about her then unknown/unidentified boyfriend.

The Road

A lot of anticipations are in the air and will continue to be there until the main event. With the delaying of the release of “The Soloist” in 2008, “The Road” has taken a deserving new entry in the Best Picture category of Oscar 2009. “Defiance” is lingering to hit the screens this year, a delay of which will chuck it from qualifying for the Best Picture race. The delaying of the release date of a couple of films is leading to shrinking of the potential contenders for the 2009 Academy Award in the Best Picture Category. “Doubt”, “Revolutionary Road” and “The Reader” will surely make their way to the forthcoming Academy Awards.

The Dark Knight

“The Dark Knight” seems like a strong contender and might bag a few awards in several categories including the Best Picture. There is a buzz that the film might get a nomination and win in the categories of - Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor.

For the films that have already hit the theaters this year, only a handful of films can be counted as good rivals. To name a few “W”, “Rachel Getting Married” and “ The Visitor” will not only give a good fight in the best picture category but will also bag a few more awards for unforgettable performances by Josh Brolin in “W”, Anne Hathaway in “ Rachel Getting Married” as well as “The Visitor”. “ In Bruges”, a dark comedy, has also marked a niche for an outstanding performance by Colin Farrell.

Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Some great films are awaiting release in the last two months of the year. “ The Wrestler”, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 17th of December might earn Mickey Rourke a best actor nomination as might Sean Penn for “ Milk” and Frank Langella for playing the role of President Richard Nixon in “Frost/Nixon”. Brad Pitt might just earn his 2nd nomination only if “ The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” makes an impact on the views as much as it is hyped to.

Raffaello Follieri and Anne Hathaway

Raffaello Follieri was sentenced four and half years imprisonment after he was proved guilty of 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering and other conspiracy. He appealed for a bail, which was denied by the court on Thursday.

Raffaello Follieri is Anne Hathaway’s former boyfriend. He is condemned for cheating millions of dollars of
investors to whom he had earlier claimed to have Vatican connections that enabled him to buy Roman Catholic Church property at a discount. Raffaello Follieri, who is 30 now, have admitted, “ I dishonored my family name and embarrassed the church I love. I’ll never be able to wash away that stain, and I will have to live with it the rest of my life”, as reported by an Italian newspaper. He also added, “ I just hope someday those who have been hurt by my actions can forgive me”.

Follieri has claimed that he did not start off with bad intentions, rather he was determined to run an honorable business. “Instead, I made some terrible mistakes”, he added. “I always thought I could repair the wrongdoing, but I was wrong”.

Anne Hathaway and Raffaello Follieri were going around for four years. They decided to split in June just before his arrest.

Anne Hathaway stole the show at the London film festival. The Devil Wears Prada star wore a strapless blue and purple dress for her premiere of her latest film “Rachel Getting Married”. Hathaway was in high spirits as she met fans outside the premiere, while a coy Paltrow quickly retreated inside the warm cinema even though she had her fans and reasons to celebrate. Quite clearly Anne Hathaway outshined her senior in the film industry.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a gothic style black column dress. She rued at the fact that she wore flats instead of heels. She had hurt herself recently.She said: “I hurt my knee just being silly so I’m in flat shoes tonight.”

It was a rainy London night, when Hathaway was seen not hurrying inside but was helped by a group of minders carrying umbrellas.She was happily signing autographs and was greeted by hundreds of fans who had waited in the heavy rain for a glimpse of their idol.
Anne stood a brave front smiling away at her wet premiere. Anne said that she felt more confident now after her split with Raffaello Follieri in the summer. She sounded happy and confident like never before. Anne was seen taking the big premiere night on her small strides making her event bigger. Anne’s new film “Rachel Getting Married” portrays her with a role of a lifetime for her. Anne is elated for already receiving Oscar buzz.

Hathaway’s confidence and star status did not fail her when she said: “It’s really cool, but it’s a little premature to get excited about it.I actually did something that I’m proud of, where all of the intentions I had for the character made it to the screen.
For me, it’s a recognition of my dreams, this role…”

Anne clarified that she did not want to sound proud or arrogant but she knew that to be grounded was the main motive and she believed in sticking to herself rather than taking refuge in someone else’ image.
The screening also saw British actress Thandie Newton, with her director husband Ol Parker.

Get Smart is about Maxwell Smart a secret agent who tries to save the day by fighting the evil KAOS. Actors Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway star together in this laugh riot. The movie is an adaptation of the well known comedy television series of the 1960’s by the same name that spoofed the secret agent genre. Mel Brookes and Buck Henry well known comic writers of the times gave the series a great boost along with Don Adams playing the funny man cold era-spy. Produced by Warner Brothers pictures the film releases worldwide this summer on June 28th.

Steve Carell seems well matched to the character of the lovable, know-it all Maxwell with some spy-tech gadgets and a partner to match. Giving him company is the smart but dangerous Agent 99 played by Anne Hathaway of The Princess Diaries fame. Other cast members in the movie include names like Terence Stamp, Dalip Singh also known as “The Great Khali” and Masi Oka playing the chief and Dwayne Johnson playing Agent23.
