The Oscar nominated actress is back and she looks as sexy as ever. Trailers of Angelina Jolie’s forthcoming film, “Salt” was posted on the internet this week. The mother of 6 looks as appealing as ever. Jolie and Brad Pitt parents three adopted children and three biological. Right before the filing of Salt began Jolie gave birth to twins.

Salt, which stars Jolie as Evelyn Salt, who is a CIA officer accused of being a Russian sleeper spy out to prove her innocence, is directed by Phillip Noyce. Fans are critics are still wondering how Jolie got back in shape in such a short period of time right after giving birth to twins.

Well, if you watch the trailer thoroghly your doubts will be cleared. In a particular scene, featuring Jolie in her underwear, her taut stomach is clearly displayed.

Intially the lead role for Salt was offered to Tom Cruise. But when the actor turned it down the role was rewritten for Jolie. The movie will hit the theaters on July 23rd, 2010.

Leaving the little ones home with their nanny, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went on a cozy Italian dinner date. The couple spent their Saturday night at Vincenti, which is a coveted Italian restaurant in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood.

A night before Pitt was spotted with his sons Maddox and Pax in New Orleans enjoying Green Day perform.

Dressed in black the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” couple were on a night out in Tinseltown together. The couple were holding hands while they were spotted walking down together sharing a laugh.

In a recent interview Pitt was quoted as saying that he turns to architecture when he feels stressed out. “Architecture is like play to me. As a boy, you play with Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, Legos, and you get interested in how things are made, like cars and drills and all that. Years later you come back around to what interested you as a boy. Now, if I have something that I’m dealing with that’s causing me a lot of stress, my mind goes to architecture. I walk around the yard and start thinking about what I need to do to the house structurally. It’s similar to puzzles in that way, like a crossword puzzle or anything else I can put my mind into. It’s a relief for me”, the Oscar nominated star was quoted as saying.

Jolie and Pitt are always in news for good reasons. The couple was present for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Nazi-killing flick “Inglourious Basterds”, on Monday night at Los Angeles. Surrounded by thousands of fans Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt talked candidly about their active ad very interesting love life, their kids and twins and the possibility of tying knots.

Earlier in an interview for Parade the 45 year old actor labeled their secret grotto as “a great place for sex”. When Jolie was asked by Extra to put some light on this, the actress added, “Yeah, well, we got a few special places. You keep it going”.

There are not much chances of the couple getting married anytime in the near future. Pitt said that he will be sticking to his comment strongly that they won’t think of wedding until all couples were allowed to marry legally in the United States. The actor added, “I did say that, so now I’m stuck with it”.

Jolie is also comfortable with Pitt’s decision since the actor recently called her his “soulmate”. In a statement Jolie was quoted as saying, “That is very cool. Well, he’s mine. It is what it is”.

Angelina, who appeared in a skin-tight black leather dress, spoke very affectionately about their a year old twins. “The twins are great. They’re walking. I hope to get all of my kids involved [in humanitarian efforts]. I hope to raise them properly so that they have a good conscience, and they’re good people”.

The rumors of the couple splitting was ambushed by their public show of unity and affection. Earlier there were news of the  actress having been flown into a rage after she caught Brad rubbing the back of their nanny on the bed in the twins’ room.

Recently Angelina had been keeping really busy with her shoot for her upcoming film  spy thriller Salt in and around New York. The couple with ther 6 children – 3 biological and 3 adopted -  have rented a house in Long Island for their dwelling.

In the film Salt the Oscar nominated actress, who is also a mother of six and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, will play CIA officer Evelyn Salt. Jolie, in the film will be on a  mission to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. There are several action-packed scenes including Ange dangling out of an apartment block window.

The Hollywood heartthrob, Brad Pitt was spotted  picking up a car from a parking garage on May 15th.  The Oscar nominated actor is spending time in New York City while his partner Angelina Jolie is busy shooting for her upcoming film. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’s actor looked as charming as ever.

Pitt was spotted sporting a grey button-up shirt with black trousers, black shoes, and a pair of aviator sunglasses as he was waiting for his car. Earlier Pitt was also spotted at daughter Shiloh’s school. He went to pick her up from her school, where the Hollywood’s leading actor has even been reading books to the class.

According to a report by a reliable source of the city, “[The parents in town] are off the charts excited and everyone is dolled up. The moms are trying to look a little bit more polished. Instead of schlepping in sweat pants and messy hair, now they wear designer jeans and high heels, which they never wear. Usually it’s Tod’s or Gucci loafers. Everyone is putting a little more effort. Let’s face it; he’s a handsome guy”.

The Oscar nominated actors, Jolie and Pitt, have been residing in the island for quite sometime. The couple have also taken up a beautiful house in a tranquil corner of Oyster Bay and is said to have been creating a niche of star struck Long Islanders wherever they go.

John Venditto, the Oyster Bay Town Supervisor, was quoted saying in an interview to the People Magazine, “When you talk to someone who has met them they’re kind of glowing“. He also added, “People love saying they saw them. They feel something very special happened to them“.

On of the local resident who met the couple in a local grocery shop couldn’t hold the excitement of meeting the star couple. The shock and happiness of meeting the stars with their kids have been circulating throughout the island. Jolie and Pitt and their kids all have been very friendly to the local residents say those who met them.

John further said, “The reaction across the board seems to be, ‘Wow, they’re very nice people.’ It seems that people like them and like having them here“.

“Does this mean Jolie wants to add ‘politician’ to her list of credentials?” said Dominique Hines in the Mail Online. It wouldn’t be too surprising considering Angie is already playing her role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations. But the rate at which she and her husband Brad Pitt are adopting children, Hines fears that Jolie “may have her hands too full” to “add a career in politics to her ambitions.”

Jolie carrying a book on Iraq War. Does that mean that she is “going to run for office?” But why the speculation? Given that Jolie has an interest in politics and has been involved in humanitarian efforts for a while now, it is not a very unexpected thing that she is reading Haass’ book. Is it?

According to reports send by some reliable sources, Angelina Jolie is currently having discussions over starring in a film adaptation of a best selling book series by Patricia Cornwell.  Jolie, who was nominated in the Best Actress category of the 81st Academy Awards for her magnificent role in Changeling, is currently busy shooting for spy thriller, Salt, in New York.

Close sources have mentioned Jolie would be meeting the representatives of Fox 2000 to discuss taking on the role of Dr Kay Scarpetta in film version of the crime thriller 16 Scarpetta stories. As per reports published by Variety, Jolie, the mom of 6 children – 3 adopted and 3 biological, will be seen in the lead role as Scarpetta, an opera-loving medical examiner.

The film will be produced by Mark Gordon along with Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski. Bryan Zuriff will work as the executive producer. Algelina is expected to meet the producers at the studio to have further talks on how Scarpetta will be transformed onto the big screen with the writer.

When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, along with Zahara and Shiloh, went into a Long Island Stop and Shop to shop for groceries, they were kind to everybody and very friendly. Only, if they had been a little eco-friendly.

An employee of the store where the couple were spotted said that both the stars were very friendly and open. “They were here for 30 minutes and left. They were very friendly. They gave autographs and allowed people to take pictures of them inside…very nice!”  That´s good news! But the couple should have been a little friendly to the Earth. Photos showed that the family´s shopping cart was filled with plastic groceries bags, and not reusable bags which are eco-friendly. That, frankly, is not expected from someone who is involved in Global Green USA. Brad, you should practice what you preach.

Angie is staying with her family at the Sassafras Estate while shooting for scenes for her next movie ´Salt´ in New York City. The actress, it has been reported, is pregnant with the couple´s seventh child. According to insiders, the baby might save her disturbed relationship with Brad Pitt. A source says “It happened just in time, because things were getting pretty ugly between them.” No comments whatsoever have come from either Jolie or Pitt. They have three biological children and three adopted children.
