According to latest reports, the Rehab singer, Amy Winehouse, wants to settle in St Lucia. She wants to call the Caribbean her new home after having spend much time in the sunny shores of the picturesque island.

The singer, whose life has been close to a roller coaster ride, has reportedly spent  a 71 day Christmas holiday simply taking rest with no work in the Caribbean. Winehouse has to return to United Kingdom for a short time to settle the final deal of a  nasty divorce from her husband Blake Fielder-Civil. But the singer was more keen to get back to  St Lucia again and  swapped London for the island for yet another prolonged vacation.

“Amy is fed up with all the stress and trauma that comes with being in London. She has made so many friends in St Lucia and says it feels like home. When she returned to the UK in March she felt like a total outsider”, a source close to Winehouse said to The Sun.

in every probability it seems that the singer intends to live a peaceful life away from the limelight in a lavish new home situated on the beautiful Caribbean shores.

The source  also added, “She has her heart set on one house in particular. It is massive, right on the beach and has its own big garden, too”.

Singer Amy Winehouse, who has an estimated fortune of £10m has been secured a position in this year’s Sunday Times young music rich list for the first time. Winehouse, the 24 year old “Rehab”  singer was ranked at the 10th position in the list of Britain’s top 100 richest people in music under 30 that also included  R&B star Craig David and pop star Will Young.

With a fortune amounting to £11m the 22 year old Charlotte Church shared the 9th position with rugby star Gavin Henson. Joss Stone came close eighth. But the list as topped by Dhani Harrison, the son of Late George Harrison, with a £160m fortune. Dhani, the 29 year old musician is the only child of the former Beatles member. Dhani also finished the unfinished last album of Harrison after he passed away in 2001.

the 2nd place was secured by 29 year old violinist Vanessa-Mae Nicholson. She was followed by Coldplay trio Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion, with an estimated £30m each in the bank to hold a third place in the list.

Former Blue star Simon Webbe and jazz musician Jamie Cullum have also been included in the list.

On being told that topless sunbathing on the beach is banned, an infuriated Amy Winehouse protested boldly (..or rather baring-ly). She went semi-naked and ran through the grounds of her Caribbean Hotel (a family resort) providing a stunning show to her fellow guests.

Those staying at Cotton Bay Village Hotel, in St. Lucia, with Winehouse, were astounded to see her run around bare breast. ”Everyone was shocked when she began running around half naked. She was talking to herself and flailing her arms around but we couldn’t understand what she was saying,” remarked one guest. The 25-year-old British singer ran to the pool area, where children were playing, as she took off her clothes. Eventually, a hotel worker stopped Winehouse and gave her a blue wrap to cover herself. Her clothes, which she had thrown on the sand, were picked up by her bodyguard.

Having fallen in love with St. Lucia during her holiday earlier this year, she had returned to the island last week to buy a property. She claims that spending two months in the island helped her recover from drug addiction; “I’m clean now and feel much better for it. I’m just a normal girl now.” That´s good news. But by stripping publicly, she shocked guests at the family resort where she is staying. Well..she was angry.

Amy Winehouse pleaded for innocence in court denying assaulting fan Sherene Flash at a society ball last September. The singer when questioned in court said, “no, no, no”. With a 15 minute hearing Winehouse’s recent assault case forward to the nest step in a London courthouse this morning. The much troubled singer pleaded for not guilty during the hearing.

Winehouse, who crooned “Rehab” reached the City of Westminster Magistrates Court in the morning. She flashed a low-cut floral frock that showed off her bra straps and tattoos with four-inch heels. The singer stumbled while entering the court room and kept on fiddling with her hair, hands and clothing, Press Association reported.

When the court asked the 25 year old singer how she was feeling, Winehouse reverted back by saying, “I’m all right, thanks”. She also  spoke loudly and clearly to affirm her date of birth and her name, Amy Jade Civil, her married name. Sherene Flash, who Winehouse is alleged of hitting a punch in her eye, claimed that she was hit by the singer after she went up to her for a photo at London’s End of Summer Ball Sept. 26, 2008.

In regard to the case Amy Winehouse, he “Back to Black” singer, has been refused a visa to perform in the United States. The next trial date is fixed on July 23. Winehouse was given an unconditional bail by the court.

Amy Winehouse’s estranged husband Blake Fielder Civil was released from Suffolk’s Edmunds Hill prison. Blake’s release news was not made known to Amy which reportedly hurt the British singer. According to close sources Amy will be flying from St.Lucia as soon as possible and try and meet Blake. The reason for Amy’s new interest in Blake is yet to be known. However Blake was met by his mother when he came out of the prison.

Amy Winhouse had a extended stay at St.Lucia island resort but the news of Blake’s release reached her and she was said to be desperate to meet him. A friend of Amy told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Hearing Blake was out brought lots of emotions back for Amy. She feels like she was the last to know he was getting released and that hurt. She is desperate to see him again and wants to work things out. She still loves him.”

Amy is trying hard to get back to her husband. Whereas Blake has maintained that he would like to continue with the divorce procedure.  Blake while coming out of prison said : “It’s all going ahead – but I don’t really know what will happen. It’s just nice to be out. Now I am going to get over my drug habit.”

Blake was reportedly hurt and angered at Amy’s growing antics. He grew sick and tired of Amy’s alleged affairs and hook up news. Blake had loved Amy and even vowed to get back Amy at any cost. This was of course some time ago. But the present state of affairs draw light to Amy’s newer horizons and Blake is no more interested to go on with his slightly skewed wife’s antics.

A spokesperson for Amy admitted the singer is unsure if she can win back her husband, saying: “I don’t know if Blake will change his plans.” Amy was pictured in with other men while she holidayed in the Caribbean. Blake had started off with the divorce proceeding in January. Since then Blake has changed his status on website Facebook to single, while Amy updated her profile picture to one of them together yesterday.

Amy who was in St.Lucia to fight her growing drug problems has worried off her friends who believe that Amy’s London return could prove to be full of problems. Another source said : “We are nervous about her returning to London. She thinks the fights and problems with Blake are romantic in a tortured love kind of way. We think it’s a bit sad – and very dangerous.”

The divorce would mean Amy paying Blake up to £2 million of her estimated £10 million fortune.

Amy who was ready to return to her homeland has to stay over at the Caribbean. Amy needs to recover from her collapses and illness before which she may not travel. Amy’s mother has also confirmed that her daughter will not be returning for the moment. She has also denied earlier rumours of Amy’s return to Britain. There were reports suggesting that the British singer was to return to Britain very soon. The present condition of Winehouse has forced the artist to extend her holiday in the Caribbean insisting the singer needs more time to recover.

Amy Winehouse has so far enjoyed her sunshine break in the resort thoroughly. Since December (08), Amy was reported to gain back her strength and healthy body. She has suffered numerous health problems throughout 2008.

Amy was rumoured for a return to London to begin with her comeback schedule before she was hospitalised on the island last week (13Feb09). Amy was also rumoured to buy a house in the country side locals of London. The rush for the emergency was reportedly triggered when Winehouse ran out of prescription medication used in her battle against drink and drugs.

Amy’s mother,Janis, insists that although the holiday is having a positive affect on her daughter’s health, she still has a long way to go before she is ready to return home and make a comeback in her professional world.

Janis tells British magazine Heat, “Amy is in a really good place at the moment. She’s eating well and has put on some weight, which I’m really pleased about. “She’s also been doing so much out there to clear her head. She has no plans to come back home right now and definitely doesn’t want to go back to (her home in ) Camden. Who knows where she’ll go, but for now she wants to be away from it all”.

Janis however admitted that her daughter Amy agreed to the break and Janis was super pleased with her. Amy’s break at St.Lucia removed her from negative influences in London.

Janis adds, “She just needed to get away from certain people around her who were bringing her down. She’ll be OK, she just needs to stay away fromthose people and her family will do everything we can to ensure she does”.

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has reportedly flown in to the Caribbean to check out on his daughter. Mitch returned to the Caribbean over increasing concerns for the troubled singer’s wild lifestyle that resulted her to collapse while she was still in the mood of holidaying. Mitch and several other close friends and family are said to worried about the singer’s boozy behaviour. Mitch has reportedly flown in after being wired for Amy’s messing up with drugs and medication that had made Amy being rushed to the medics post collapse.

Amy was said to have won over her addictions and rage. But that seems not to be the case. She is still under heavy drinking addiction which is destroying her medication according to reports.

Amy’s stay at St.Lucia had toned her down on her usage of cocaine and other banned drugs but she took heavily to drinking. And now the singer is in the hospital, and has been under care after being let out from the hospital. Amy has had several friends on her holiday trip to St.Lucia. Several onlookers and the island visitors claim that Amy still puffs away on marijuana and has turned very wild due to heavy drinking.

Amy reportedly creates scenes if she is not given her share of drinks. She also steals some if she is not allowed to have them freely. So the addiction from other things turned towards heavy drinking which makes her more sick raising serious concerns about her life.

Mitch flew to St Lucia from London and arrived only to discover that his daughter had collapsed and needed to be taken to hospital after messing up her drug-replacement medication last Friday.

She was later discharged from hospital and is doing well in her fight against heroin and crack-cocaine addiction on her extended holiday. But nothing can be done about the drinking which has not stopped from flowing.

Mitch had first come to St Lucia last month to meet Amy’s then holiday romance, hunky rugby star-turned-actor Josh Bowman. A source reports : “He heard things weren’t quite as rosy as during his last visit and thought he should return. She needs an eye on her in case she hits the hard stuff.”

But perhaps good is not to be for Amy Winehouse who reportedly collapsed on the island of St Lucia. The 25 year old Amy was seen in a “a shaking mess” as she was rushed to a hospital. Several Island sources confirmed that the star had been drinking heavily of late. Amy’s battle with heroin and crack cocaine addiction had however taken a downside but her addiction turned to alcohol heavily thus the already struggling singer saw the doom.

Amy’s spokesman said that Amy was in hospital. He said she had run out of a drug replacement she has been using and so she had to be rushed. However, Amy is said to be recovering well and the singer is expected to leave hospital shortly.

Amy’s stay at the luxurious beach resort of St.Lucia have ensured a look at the healthy side of her life. Amy has finally decided to move away from the mainstream hustle bustle of London. Amy’s parents are extremely happy with her decision.

The British contralto singer has reportedly chosen to rent out a mansion in posh Hadley Wood, North London. This place would be at a safer distance form her old Camden caner scene, just as her family want. The newer environ is leafier and much calmer apt for the singer’s present peace finding aim in life. Amy’s return is being kept in mind for which the house, near the Hertfordshire countryside have been arranged so that Amy can move straight in after her return.

A friend said: “It’s quiet and there won’t be all that temptation on her doorstep. But it’s near to her home London borough of Enfield, and to Camden, so she won’t feel too isolated. That’s why she has agreed.” However there are other things that are to kept in mind just because the name of the game is Winehouse who just doesn’t stay away from trouble.

The neighbourhood is said to be a very peaceful one with the only thing to cheer up a soul during night is a whole lot of foxes and wild-life. According to Local Tory MP David Burrowes, the neighbourhood has no pubs and bars , not even clubs so it would be a bit difficult fir Amy in the initial stages. People are however skeptical of Amy’s present decision to shift to Hadley Wood. Ghita Cohen, of the local theatre group, warned : “It’s mainly middle-aged people with middle-class views here and I don’t think it’s her cup of tea — but I do hope she’ll be happy.”

Residents and officials of the locality also feel that the place in itself personifies peace and isolation. According to the Director of The Hadley Wood Association, Rod Armstrong, said: “I’m not very familiar with Amy. But knowing the people here, she’ll be made welcome.” Mavis Webber, of the local Women’s Institute, added : “It’s a nice, quiet area. Country walks will do her good.”

Amy is all set for some twist in lifestyle to undo all the damage she has done to her normal life. Amy, as felt by her family, needs to rethink about her life and career. Amy needs a peaceful atmosphere at the moment to drive herself away from the wild life and continuous party hoppings,etc.

A great deal to end up a troubled marriage. Blake Fielder-Civil’s divorce with Amy would atlast bring some hope for the jailbird husband of Amy Winehouse. Amy is offering a hefty amount to get rid of Blake from her life. Blake was rumoured to create trouble in Amy’s life. Blake was hated and warned by common friends to stay away from Amy because most of them thought Blake to be a money churner. Blake had even threatened Amy to disclose their secrets when they were together.

Amy Winehouse is allegedly offering her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil a $3.7 million (C2£2.5 million) for a divorce settlement. Fielder-Civil’s (jailed for causing actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice) lawyers filed papers last month in a bid to bring the couple’s 20-month marriage to an end.

Amy’s present move was said to be sparked by reports linking Winehouse to former rugby player Joshua Bowman during her current sunshine break in the Caribbean. Winehouse originally said she wanted one last attempt to save her marriage. Amy allegedly changed her mind after Fielder-Civil was reported to be seeking half her $22 million (C2£15 million) fortune by claiming he is the inspiration behind her music.

A source(read friend) Winehouse tells British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, “She wanted to come home but it was too cold. She will instruct lawyers through arranged phone conversations. She wants to settle for half of what she hasearned during their time together, around C2£2.5 million”.
