Its a one year anniversary of the most popular vampire movie “Twilight” and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson remembers how they were simply floored by the welcome they received from thousands of eager fans of the the Stephenie Meyer’s book. Throngs of fans had gathered to greet the stars at the premiere of the big-screen adaptation.
At the same location the stars were caught unveiling the sequel “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” amid thousands of eager fans. Monday night in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles Kristen Stewart and the hottest vampire on screen, Robert Pattinson arrived for the premiere of their forthcoming film. The stars, surrounded by fans waiting for them impatiently, quite knew what was coming their way this time.
“I’m not as scared as I was last year. At some point, the security guy said, ‘This is very unsafe.’ And I was like, ‘Uh.’ Other than that, everything was cool”, Stewart said while she signed autographs finding moments out of her very short visit.
The biggest heartthrob and “The Sexiest Man Alive”, Robert Pattinson, said the crowed was much larger than the previous year’s and this they had expected. “And it seems different to me because we have done this world tour in the last week and it has just been unbelievable in every single city. It is about 10 times bigger than any other city in the world”, the star, who plays Edward Cullen in the movie, added.
A group of fans who called themselves as “Twi-Hards” reached the venue on early Thursday afternoon to secure a place in the line for get the tickets to watch their favorite stars’ arrivals on the red carpet from close.

This year it going to be tough for the Best Animated Film category in Oscar. The Academy Award organizers announced on Wednesday that record 20 animated films have been submitted for Oscar 2010. The list of films include studio hits like “Up” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” as well as independent ventures “Mary and Max”.
The Oscar awards in the Best animated film category was began by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2002. In the age of computer animation the number of award-hopeful cartoon flicks has only steadily risen every year since then.
The Disney/Pixar smash hit “Up” is up for the 2010 best animated feature film. The film is about a boy and an old man who float off to South America in a house tied with helium balloons. “Up” earned $507 million at global box offices and is also famed to be the best reviewed animated film of the year.
We vote for “Up” as one of the toughest contenders of the best animated feature film of the forthcoming Oscars. But surely the film will face strong competition from the widely-liked “Coraline”, which earned a sum of $121 million in worldwide ticket sales. Among the other big contenders for this category there are hits like “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”. George Clooney movie, “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, comedy “Planet 51″ and Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” are also in the list of 20 films vying for the Oscar, but have not been able to pull broad audience.

Michael Lohan have had his turn and now its his daughter Lindsay to flash her bit of rivalry. Daddy Lohan has done his course of releasing new recordings from his personal hoard of family phone calls on Radar Online and now daughter Lohan is following his pathway by saying, “I hate him so much”.
Lindsay Lohan has found her own way of letting her father know what exactly she thinks about him. But this time without dialing his digits. The 23 year old actress choose not to be much different from what her father did. She too took her troubles to a gossip site like Michael Lohan.
“I hate him so much”, began the actress as she mouthed off to Gossip Cop. “My father knows nothing other than how to sell stories for money instead of getting a real job like normal people do, including myself”, Lindsay also added.
Its not only LiLo who is upset with Michael Lohan. Dina Lohan, Lindsay’s mother is equally upset with what Michael did by leaking the taped material to a gossip site.
“The tapes were from a long time ago, and for a father to stoop this low is unforgivable. My ex-husband has been in and out of jail for 10 years. My children and I gave him a chance to get to know them again, and he clearly blew that chance!” Dina Lohan told E! News.

Britney Spears is back to news and this time with a new controversy. The singer fumes a message for the critics who blasted her performance while she was on her first tour of Australia. Britney stated that it’s all for the fans.
It is reported that her her first Australian performance last weekend was boring, stiff, mimed and lacking interaction with the audience. Spears’ manager along with the tour promoter hurried to support the U.S. pop singer after much of those present took a leave from the show due to the same.
The 27 year old pop diva was back to rebuild her career after much of a roller-coaster personal life that created controversial headlines, has responded to the outburst.
“I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show. Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans”, said Spears that has been widely criticized by the Australian media.
Paul Dainty, the promoter of Spears’ Australian tour, have been quoted as saying earlier this week that the criticism roused by the media about Spears’ lip-synching and a lackluster performance had left her “extremely upset”. He also claimed that it was a total fabrication to suggest that fans stormed out. The debate over lip-synching has been surrounding Spears since she arrived in Australia last week.
Spears’ personal website and Twitter account was flooded with personal messages from her thousands of Australian fans, who stated the her comeback as “amazing,” “awesome” and “brilliant”.
Celine Dion Suffers Miscarriage

Now that’s pretty sad! Singer Celine Dion is no longer pregnant. She had a miscarriage, a close associate of the singer and her husband René Angélil reported.
“While she and Rene are actively trying for a baby, she is not currently expecting”, the source, who is a close friend of the couple, revealed to In Touch Weekly.
The story took no time to spread all over the web, which had left Dion’s many fans mourning. The couple had announced publicly about their 2nd pregnancy in August 2009. The 41 year old Dion and her husband Rene, who is 67 now, is said to have conceived with the help of fertility doctors in New York in mid-August. After Celine conceived the couple announced the news with much joy by saying, “They are crazy in love over the news”.
Celine’s family has not commented much on this issue.
Dion and Rene took their wedding vows in December 1994. The couple is presently raising their 8 year old son, Rene Charles Angelil. In an interview with CBS’ “Early Show” host Julie Chen, in December 2008, Dion said publicly that she and Rene were planning to expand their family. After trying for 6 years Dion finally conceived their first child by in vitro fertilization. In 2009 August Dion and Rene already had frozen embryo for their second child. The baby was due in March 2010.
Carrie Prejean Admits Sex Tape Was the ‘Biggest Mistake’

Carrie Prejean finally admitted that the muggy sex tape she made for one of her ex-boyfriends was “the biggest mistake of her life”. The model also revealed to Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the tape was made few years ago when she was 17. The racy sex tape was shot by the former Miss California USA herself for her then boyfriend. Later he “betrayed” her and leaked the tape for money.
“They can call it whatever they want to call it, but it was the biggest mistake of my life. I was all by myself and I was sending a boyfriend at the time who I loved and cared about a video of me … I was not having sex with anybody and you call it whatever you want”, said Prejean to Hannity.

The 22 year old model also accepted her fault by saying that she was young and displayed bad judgment at the time.
“I was a teenager at the time and never did I think it would ever come out. But it was bad judgment and it’s embarrassing and it’s humiliating to be talking about this now on national TV if you can imagine”, she said.
Prejean had been the center of controversies ever since she won the beauty pageant title. She had to give away her crown and title in June due to her opposition to gay marriage. She was also accused of skipping official events, by the organizers of the beauty contest.
Prejean, who is deeply hurt, also added while speaking to Hannity that she feels that she has been victimised into a political attacking game aimed at conservative women.
“[My story] gives Americans just hope, and it shows them that, you know, Americans should not be attacked for their beliefs. They should not be silenced. You know, we have the freedom of speech. And I was punished; I was fired. I was brutallymuggyattacked and [am] still being attacked. People are still trying to dig up things from my past”, she added.

In the memory of the fall of the Berlin Wall the MTV Europe Music Awards was held in Berlin on Monday November 9. This was the 16th annual MTV Europe Music Awards held in the honor of the 20th anniversary of the fall of Berlin Wall. Beyonce in her saucy red dress have been enough to make any wall go tumbling.
After performing the hit “Sweet Dreams” in red garters and a plunging neck-lined body suit, Beyonce undoubtedly became the star of the show. Besides giving a rocking performance the singer also swept the awards winning three major categories: best female artist, best song for “Halo,” and best video for “Single Ladies”.
While giving the acceptance speech for the best video, the singer thanked Jay-Z, her hubby. Jay-Z was also present in the audience and bagged an award as well, for Best Urban Act.
Other winners included Lady Gaga for best new act; Green Day, for best rock act; Eminem, for best male artist; German pop group Tokio Hotel for best group; and U2, for best live act. Lady Gaga was not present for the show.
Besides Beyonce’s heart stealing performance, the Irish rockers too stole the heart of many with a free 6-song concert in front of Germany’s Brandenburg Gate earlier Thursday. The band had earlier recorded “Achtung Baby” in Berlin.

Salt, which stars Jolie as Evelyn Salt, who is a CIA officer accused of being a Russian sleeper spy out to prove her innocence, is directed by Phillip Noyce. Fans are critics are still wondering how Jolie got back in shape in such a short period of time right after giving birth to twins.
Well, if you watch the trailer thoroghly your doubts will be cleared. In a particular scene, featuring Jolie in her underwear, her taut stomach is clearly displayed.
Intially the lead role for Salt was offered to Tom Cruise. But when the actor turned it down the role was rewritten for Jolie. The movie will hit the theaters on July 23rd, 2010.
Michael Lohan Wants Daughter Lindsay Lohan in Rehab

Michael Lohan has proved himself to be quite Lo. He wants his daughter, Lindsay Lohan to be in rehab again. Michael has recently released a conversation, recorded from a phone call, between him and his weeping daughter. Linday is reported to have called up her father and cried her heart out for over two minutes.
“No one cares about me. They don’t, by the way . . . It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been about me, unless I fight for it”, Lindsay kept on saying. Michael Lohan released the recording to RadarOnline.com.
Anguished Lindsay also speaks about her mom, Dina, by saying, “Mommy says that I’m like you were. And she’s defending . . . She doesn’t back me . . . she doesn’t stand by me”.
RadarOnline claimed that the tape is “the first of several which were recorded from phone calls Lindsay and her mom Dina made to” Michael.
The 23-year-old “Mean Girls” star’s father said, “I’ve tried every way possible to do it privately, and I feel if I put pressure on Lindsay, maybe she will go into rehab and get off the prescription drugs”
Michael mentioned that he wants his daughter to be in the rehab for an alleged prescription drug addiction. Lindsay has also been described as sounding “very distraught and tormented” during the call by his father.
“People can think what they want. I know how bad the situation is. I’m not going to sit there and watch things happen”, Michael told The Post.

The “Twilight: New Moon” stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Launter finally landed in Tokyo for the promotion of the film. New Moon will hit the theaters on November 20th. The stars have been recently all over from Vancouver to Los Angeles to Sao Paulo, Brazil and finally to Tokyo promoting their film. And all these in less than a week’s time. Well, it almost requires a vampires sleeping habit to carry on with such a routine.
Rob, Stewart and Launter arrived in Japan early Tuesday morning. The photographs of the stars soon were all over the internet. The most handsome vampire on screen arrived at the press conference in a sharp dark suit. The 23 year old actor spoke about their forthcoming release, New Moon, at the event sponsored by Volvo. Rob was later joined by Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who arrived straight from Brazil.
All the three tried too look less tired but it seems that they only get to sleep once in a “New Moon”. Rob, Stewart and Launter have been really busy with their last minute promotion of Twilight’s first sequel to be released on 20th November.
Pattinson, the heartthrob of millions across the globe, wore a charcoal suit, a deep chocolate shirt, brown striped skinny tie and fit brown shoes. Ahem! Rob is a perfect Englishman, no doubt about that! Kristen Stewart flaunted a short black leather-esque number with a fitted bodice, barely-there straps and a jagged ivory hem. Bella surely looked romantic and sensuous! Taylor Lautner simply stole the hearts of all those present all in black.
