Rihanna who hails from Barbados usually spends her celebration days in the tropical homeland. But this year the 20-year-old Bajan beauty chose to spend her Christmas at Chris Brown’s family property in Goochland, Virginia. Rihanna usually likes to spend a warm winter in the tropical islands.

The Umbrella hitmaker reportedly took some of her family members along with her in her trip to to Brown’s home. Several photographs have circulated on the internet. The photographs are all personal ones snapped from the holiday. The circulated pictures show Rihanna relaxing in a striped knitted dress hugging Brown. There are other pictures with happy family poses.

Chris and Rihanna have been romantically involved and they have spent holidays in Rihanna’s homeland, Barbados. Rihanna and Brown has been rumoured as engaged and set to marry. Rihanna has always avoided personal questions so far. When she was first linked with Chris she had coyly suggested a relationship but desired her personal life to be respected with privacy. But the recent developments of both the families meeting regularly indicate a future possibility very soon.

Rihanna was seen sporting an engagement ring, a huge diamond on the wedding finger while performing with Brown at the O2 in London. In spite of the chilly air Rihanna wore fingerless gloves and held her hand to her chest so people could check out the ring. Chris Brown has reportedly asked Rihanna to marry him and if speculations are to be believed all this was done by Chris in the New Years.

Take That

Movie producers have approached the successful boy band - Take That to create a film of their own. The band has seen all sides of the success story. Take That has been approached for a film chronicling.

The story is reportedly to feature the days after the band split. The story would follow the lives of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange struggling to find solo success away from the group post split.

The producers approaching the stars are convinced that their story would be an instant hit. Band mates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald are reportedly on board the project.

Robbie Williams would not feature in the film. Neither would the other bandmates feature in the film. Take That reformed in 2005. They would reportedly take care of the casting and directing. Robbie’s presence in the project is yet to be known. Robbie Williams has recenlty sparked off a grand reunion with Take That.

The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers have sparked security concerns. The Jonas Brothers have directed the New York City Police to increase the security measures. The musical brothers will perform at Times Square on New Years. They feel that their popularity with the crowd and fans would be a risk factor while they were performing.

They want a tight security back up specially designed for their security since the possibilities of them being mobbed are high and the risk will increase when they perform.

The Jonas Brothers will perform in the city as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve TV spectacular. The musical brother band have requested the New York City police to up the security measures for their New Years performance at Times Square. The singers feel that the arrangements made by the NY Police would be the best since they have heroically defended the city during terrorist attacks, riots and blackouts.

There would be other stars who would be performing alongside the Jonas Brothers. The highly popular Jonas Brothers are concerned about the crazed fans who would come to attend the big bash in the midst of winter chills and freeze. The fans would be mad and screaming and so the beefing of security was most required.

A source revealed the plannings made by the Jonas Brothers: “They’re now planning on using extra men for support. It’s going to be crazy.”

Tchaikovsky the Russian composer of the 19th-century will be paid tribute on his own table and wooden house. The world renowned musician’s compositions will be revived in a wobbly table in a blue wooden house overlooking silver birch trees. The environs of Tchaikovsky’s last residence boasts of his compositions that have spellbound generations of music lovers of all ages.

Pyotr Tchaikovsky, whose “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” in the “Nutcracker” ballet have delights children and adults. His last residence was in the small town of Klin, about 85 km (60 miles) northwest of Moscow.

Tchaikovsky’s home has now turned into a museum that commemorates the great musician’s life and compositions. Natalia Gorbunova, chief researcher and head of the museum spoke of the growing number of visitors and the number of Tchaikovsky fans who are ushered along the house’s squeaky oak floors is steadily increasing. “Tchaikovsky’s music is undergoing a revival now, in our time, because his music is loved by the whole world, and this love continues,” she said. According to Natalia last year there were 86,000 visitors, up from 60,000 in 2003. She said this year the numbers are bound to increase.

Tchaikovsky has been termed as a populist musician several times in his entire life. Critics often derided his fame and power. Tchaikovsky enthusiasts firmly feel the timeless appeal and the mass influence of the Russian master composer’s compositions were extremely intimate in form.

Every year renowned musicians and composers come to Klin to play the piano for the May 7 birthday of the composer, who lived from 1840 to 1893. Gorbunova noted the number of Europeans and Asians, particularly Korean, is up. The international Tchaikovsky classical music competition in Moscow celebrated its half-century in spring with concerts being played to sold-out halls.

“No one can be indifferent to Tchaikovsky’s music,” Muscovite pianist Mikhail Mordvinov, 31, told before creating some Tchaikovsky on his piano while he paid tribute to his god.

Peter Andre is working hard to make everything right for his upcoming record. Andre’s New Year resolution will be to make his album hugely successful.

The 35-year-old star said that he is striving hard for a desperate fame. He has planned a grand May release. Andre wants his album to be an instant hit.

Peter has a family with his wife Katie Price and three children. Andre also desires to have sex as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve. Andre said that he would love to involve people in his party but that would be made possible only if he and Katie were disguised.

He added: “I’d like us to go to a masked party where no one knew who we were. I’d have sex with Katie in front of people if no one recognised us.” Peter revealed that it has been his dream to make love to his wife Katie Price as the new year begins but only if he can time it right.

Peter says he and his wife are still unsure as where to spend their 2009. He said: “I want to go to Australia, but I don’t think we’ll be able to as we’re going to America in January, so I think it’ll all be too tight.”

On a recent reality show of his own(Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter), Andre revealed that he is working on a super solo album. He also said that with the album his hopes would reach an ‘aspiration goal.’

Andre also revealed in the show that he and his wife Katie Price would work and plan on another joint album for charity due to the success of their first album A Whole New World.

Amy’s darkest secrets are out yet again. Alex Haines who has recently claimed that he was a former boyfriend of Amy Winehouse has said that he grew intimate with Amy after Amy’s husband Blake Fielder Civil was sentenced a 27 month prison term. Alex revealed that Amy looked thin because she had eating disorder - Bulimia. Alex had often seen puke all over Amy’s bathroom. Sometimes Amy would gorge on 10 chocolates or a massive McDonalds meal and throw up the entire food soon after having them.

Alex had seen Amy from close quarters. That is what he claims. He said that Amy was as sex starved and dirty about sex as she was about her drug addiction. Allegedly Amy would often wake Alex up from sleep and have sex with him. He told the ‘News of the World’ newspaper: “It was like having my own little porn star. Amy was so dirty she wanted sex all the time. We did it four or five times a day and she’d even wake me up for it. She was addicted to sex like she was to drugs.”

Amy Winehouse had opened up to Alex. Alex claims that Amy had told him about her eating disorder. He reveals: “She told me she suffered from it for a long time. Several times I went into her bathroom and saw sick all over the sink…” Amy Winehouse is presently looking healthier and in sync with life. She recently made herself public on a holiday in St. Lucia.

Amy Winehouse is believed to be a massive drug addict. Alex has revealed that she would spend £3,500 a week on drugs at the height of her addiction. Amy’s desperate addiction coerced her to scrape heroin remnants from her drug-taking paraphernalia with a screwdriver. She would grow mad if she didn’t get her daily dose. Alex revealed Amy’s frightful addictive moments : “Amy had to have a heroin or a crack pipe near her or she freaked out. She’d keep taking drugs until she passed out. I reckon she spent £3,500 a week on them.”When Amy ran out of drugs she would cut the bottle she used to take them in half and sit there on the floor completely wired, scraping the inside to get the residue with a screwdriver.”

Elton John

Sir Elton John will have a street named after him. His hometown officials fell in love with the star after he performed in Las Vegas’s recent concerts. They were reportedly so impressed that they all decided to name a road after the star. Some staff of Harrow council in north London saw Elton’s gigs. They took very little time to decide that they would honour their local hero by giving him a street named after John.

Elton John might look back in his hey days and think about the awards and accolades and all the fame and glory he achieved all the way. But time a little gesture from his hometown officials would sure light up John’s mood a bit more in the Christmas season.

Susan Hill, the council’s deputy leader, says, “I saw Sir Elton in Las Vegas earlier this year and thought he was wonderful. He came from humble beginnings and it shows that if you have talent and drive you can become as famous as him.” The officials will get together and vote for their proposal next year. Till then “Can You Feel the love tonight” Sir Elton?

Eartha Kitt

The seductive singer/actress, Eartha Kitt died of colon cancer on Thursday at the age of 81. Kitt was best known for her role as ‘Catwoman’ in the 1960s TV series ‘Batman’. Eartha Kitt was being treated for her cancer at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. This was confirmed by her long term friend and publicist Andrew Freedman.

Eartha’s performances both as an actress and a singer captivated audiences for many years. Her seductive voice once compelled Orson Welles to call her the “most exciting woman in the world”.

She was a well known cabaret performer as well. In the early days of her career she performed in Europe. Her finesse was proved in several live performances of her cabaret.

She was known as a talented singer with a powerful and distinctive voice. She was a struggler from a cotton plantation in the tiny town of North, South Carolina. She rose to stardom in spite of being a not so popular descent.

Kitt was diagnosed with cancer which was detected about two years ago and treated but recurred after a period of remission. Andrew Freedman, a long-time friend and publicist tells Reuters, “She came back strongly.

She had been performing until two months ago,”"We had dates booked through 2009.” But this was not to be. Kitt had often described herself as a “sex kitten” and used her seductive purr to charm audiences across the world.

Her persona resembled that of a cool and sensuous cat. With her sultry performances Kitt captivated audiences around the world as a singer, dancer and actress.

Freedman added : “She loved cabaret performances,” “If there was ever an opportunity to do a small intimate venue with about 150 people, that was always her preference.”

In an interview with The Times of London in April Kitt described her approach to performing by saying: “I do not have an act. I just do Eartha Kitt … I want to be whoever Eartha Kitt is until the gods take me wherever they take me.”

John Lennon

A rare recording by John Lennon has reportedly fetched $30,000 at auction. The song is being regarded as a very rude one sung by the legend. John sings: “Just a little cocaine will set me right.” the song was never heard in public. The rude song by The Beatles singer was a take on Lloyd Price’s ‘Just Because’. It is believed to be an obscene version made by Lennon.

The tape begins with John reportedly slurring: “I want to take all them new singers, Carol and the other one with the nipples, I want to take them and hold them tight, all them people that James Taylor had… I want to suck your nipples, baby!”

The song was an impromptu one done with intentional drunken slurring by Lennon. A spokesperson for Los Angeles’ Bonhams and Butterfields auction house, said: “It was six minutes, 16 seconds, and John singing very drunk and with John ad-libbing his own lyrics into the song. It’s actually a fun song to listen to.”

The tape reportedly dates back to the time when John separated from his wife Yoko Ono for 18 months - which he later described as his ‘Lost Weekend’. That comes to around 1973.
The band that played alongside Lennon in the recording is heard slowing up and pushing up their tempo to match Lennon’s. And finally the recording is brought to a halt abruptly.

Lennon later re-recorded ‘Just Because’ for his album ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ in 1975. The anonymous owner claimed that the tape was provided by John himself. Even the buyer is unidentified as long as the cause remains “Lennon’s ‘Just Because’”.

Robbie Williams has struck gold. The singer is gaining strong hold over the lost territory. Robbie Williams had fallen off the charts ladder after his album Rudebox flopped in 2006. But if we go by the present market hearsays, Robbie’s success story is well prepared to be rewritten. Robbie’s upcoming album and hiatus from the mainstream makes a subject of much interest. The news of Robbie’s TAKE THAT reunion has also made his stocks rise dramatically.

The record industry is gradually lining up to take him into confidence. Robbie could be up for some great deals and cash flows. An inside source reveals: “He went into rehab and has spent time getting his head together. But now his next deal could be a record-breaker. Word is getting out that his new album is sounding brilliant and the Take That reunion coverage has helped. Live Nation would be very keen. They have recently signed Madonna and U2 on massive deals. They could give Robbie a huge contract which would include his releases, live dates and all the extras that accompany that.”

A year ago Robbie was in the dark and unsure of his future. He even went into the oblivion. Such was Robbie’s low popularity that his manager Tim Clark also felt that Robbie was not fit for a second rise. He had said : “I would be very wary about signing him to any major at the moment.”

Robbie Williams will bring out his next album in September 2009 supposedly. It will be his last studio album under EMI label. The music industry awaits Robbie’s end of term with EMI deal.

After a spate of rumours about a possible Take That reunion Robbie Williams has made his desires vocal. In a public statement after his return to his British homeland Robbie said: “I’d love to be in the band again.” This is the strongest statement so far.

Garry Barlow and Robbie had met recently for jam sessions. There have been reports and hearsays about their reunion gig recording for a special DVD.

But everything seemsa to have changed after Take Thats recent success. Last night he said he would “love” to rejoin them, simply adding: “I’d like to think we’d be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences.”

Last month Robbie and Garry had met at an Arsenal football match. They had discussed about their possible reunion and comeback album. The singer, 34, who has lived in Los Angeles for five years, has had his old group’s symbol tattooed on his right arm. The British singer living in Los Angeles, USA has dished out £7million on an historic Wiltshire mansion, which he plan to set up as his base for a charm offensive to promote his new album next year. Robbie sporting a tattoo of his band mates said he found himself “over the moon” for his old group for their hugely successful comeback.

Robbie even wrote a message about his plans on his Inner Sanctum website.

Take That (Old Days)

He said : “Just thought I’d set a few things straight about me and the boys. We got together a lot over the summer. It was amazing. We’ve all matured a lot since we parted. I’m very pleased to say the differences we’ve had have just melted away…” He said that the band members chatted and laughed like old days. He said that he wants to put back things. “…I celebrated by getting the Take That symbol tattooed on my right arm. I’m proud to know the boys and I’m proud to have been in the band.”

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson is all set to return to her professional world. She had to through a lot in the last couple of months. Jennifer will settle down with work after about three months since her family tragedy which left her her mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, brother, Jason Hudson, 27, and nephew Julian, 7, killed. Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, who is married to Hudson’s sister Julia, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder last week. His lawyer has said Balfour ” did not commit these crimes.”

Jennifer will start shooting for her single “If It Isn’t Love” next week, her label J Records tells. The Grammy nominated singer/actresss will start filimg a video for the single. Jennifer was all set to start the shoot for the clip in Los Angeles in October but the tragedy swept everything. Hudson was also found hiding in a secret location. Ever since the tragedy Jennifer Hudson has maintained a safe distance from public appearances. She has not made any such appearances. She has made several public statements post tragedy issued for her fans. She had issued one such statement last week after she was nominated for four Grammys for her debut album. The statement goes like this: “It’s been a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing,” she said. “I am extremely honored and humbled by the nominations.”

Britney Spears

Britney Spears have hit the troubled waters yet again. This time she has gained the wrath of the campaigners People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals(PETA). Britney reportedly came under the PETA fire. PETA has slammed Britney’s video, ‘Circus’ where caged elephants are shown. The video according to the animal rights activists, is sheer violation of animal freedom and basic rights.

A PETA statement said: “As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can’t feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they’re used for entertainment. Animals are ripped away from their mothers at a young age, kept in chains and prodded with electric shock devices to make them perform.”

Britney has not commented on the allegations. There are sources who said that the troupes and dancers performing with Britney are regularly checked and made to take drug tests. This is a strict order. This is being done so that the once troubled star gets a “clean influence”. Britney is reportedly ensured a trouble free existence and for that she has been kept free of all negative influences. Britney’s aids and associates are ensuring a better life for Britney free of all negativities and bad influences to save her from falling prey to her old bad habits.

Back to PETA’s reactions and allegations a source told E! News: “All backing dancers had to be drug tested and, if they didn’t pass, they were fired. I think they only do it for her because she is under strict watch. I think they just want good influences around her. Britney suffered a public breakdown earlier this year which resulted in her losing custody of her two children - Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two - and her father Jamie being made co-conservator of her estate…”

Jonas Brothers

There can be a sigh of relief for Jonas Brothers fan. Rumour mills suggested an alleged split. Kevin Jonas is not leaving the Jonas Brothers and that is official.

A Star magazine report was washed out by Kevin Jonas, 21. The news of Kevin’s quitting the group to pursue a solo album of “adult music” sounded absurd to Kevin and he simply denied all reports of a possible rift in the hit Disney band.

A source had told the magazine, Kevin “wants adult fans, and he wants to sing adult music,” “He loves his brothers but he definitely wants his solo career and won’t be part of the group forever.” But those words are washed out by the Jonas Brothers.

“There is a rumor that one of us is leaving to group. Not true,” they wrote on their MySpace page.

“We love what we are doing and hope to do it together for a long time.”

That was as simple as that! Relief!

The Jonas Brothers are to welcome 2009 along with country music star Taylor Swift and pop veteran Lionel Richie.  This is indeed a big occassion for the boy band to perform with so many stars and open such a big traditional event. The Jonas Brothers will open up from Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
They will be performing live during the ABC broadcast, joining Clark in New York along with his co-host Ryan Seacrest, the network says. As a New Year’s Eve tradition, the show will begin on Dec 31 at 10 p.m. EST.

The group’s success rates have escalated like a tornado since the day they debuted. On Wednesday Jonas Brothers rose to a new high when they were nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy Award. They said this was an experience that they would take time to settle with. They “STILL can’t believe.”

Britney Spears wants to walk down the aisle. The 27 year old pop star who is divorced from her second husband Kevin Federline, and had her 2005 marriage to Jason Alexander annulled after just 55 hours keenly awaits her next wedding.

She insists that she wants to get married for a third time despite her bad experiences. She told America’s Glamour magazine: “In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable.”

Britney’s past relationships and marriages have been bitter and futile attempt for a settled life.

Britney bitterly reveled how people did not take her as seriously as before for her failed personal life. She wants to shout at everyone telling all how serious she was about her life. But public breakdown has cast a spell on her career and life. She suffered a lot in the past but she says she suffers more form the fact that people did not want her to return to normal life and she remembered everything afresh as soon as she encountered media,public,paparazzi or the whole bunch of public sympathy surrounding her. She wants to break away from all this.

Britney was hospitalised after refusing to return her children to Kevin in January. She said: “When I tell people the way I feel, it’s like they hear me, but they aren’t really listening. It’s bad.” Britney is more worried about her children and blasted her husband’s lone parental caretaking of her kids. She added : “It’s hard doing it on your own.” She wants to get back with her sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two who presently live with their father Kevin.
