Britney Spears will have a New York parade arranged for her. Her birthday will be a wild affair with an alleged circus-themed party. Her birthday coincides with her new album launch.

The pop star will celebrate her 27th birthday on 2 December (08) with the release of her highly-anticipated comeback album, “Circus”.

NYP confirms an all-out bash at star-studded nightclub Tenjune. A source tells the newspaper her party will be “a very private, Circus-theme event”. Britney will reportedly start off her day by taking over American TV sets with an eye-popping performance on chat show Good Morning America.

Britney Spears has invited superfans to Times Square “Circus” Bash. Contestants in ‘Britney’s Greatest Fan Contest’ can win tickets to her ‘Good Morning America’ performance. Her grand birthday celebrations have much more in store.

Britney.com and Buzznet are sponsoring a Photoshop contest in which fans are invited to slip themselves into one of Buzznet’s Circus-themed layouts, with the singer’s label judging the best efforts and awarding a popcorn machine and other Britney-related prizes. And if none of that floats your boat, since Spears’ birthday happens to be December 2, she’s also invited fans to sing “Happy Birthday” to her and post it on YouTube. The winning entry may get posted on Brit’s YouTube channel.

Britney’s upcoming album “Circus,” has already been released on the Web at imeem.com. The album is about to release in a week or so. It is a real boon for fans who can listen to it for free.

Web has long become a strong platform to promote albums or new talent. “Circus,” features 13 tracks by the pop star, including the now familiar “Womanizer,” which was previously released, as well as other songs such as “My Baby,” “Unusual You” and “Kill the Lights.”

Britney Spears 26, has gone through a bitter custody battle over her two sons last year, exhibited strange behavior in public and by early 2008 and was even hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation. This is a big affair and a chance to make real comeback in mainstream music. VMAs would then be adjudged as proper and uplift her.

Web releases have  increasingly become popular means of promotion. It is being used to promote musicians and their work ahead of an album release, and Spears’ “Circus” is among the most anticipated CDs of this year as she rebounds from a tumultuous 2007 and early 2008. The full album will be released in stores on December 2, Spears’ 27th Birthday.

Britney has suffered and has been in recent news with her father taking over her business and personal affairs. She presently seems to have turned life towards her. The brief appearances, shows and promotional launches for her album and recordings go on to prove that she is in the pink of her health. She has proved to be a strong Artist who has the strength to rise twice in a life. Her ability to complete and promote “Circus” is an indicator of her apparent good health.

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham was delighted when she was asked to model underwear for Italian fashion house Armani. She happily agreed so that she could show off her newly-toned body. The new underwer line by Armani will feature a spices Posh !

The former Spice Girl will debut as the “worldwide testimonial” for Emporio Armani Women’s underwear in the Spring/Summer 2009 campaign, with shots that were taken last month (Oct08).

And the mother-of-three worked extra-hard to get the right shape and the perfect figure for the shoot. Posh Spice now boasts of a well toned body that looks ageless. Armani must be overjoyed to have pulled in Victoria as she has keptto her fashion and excercise regime.

She says, “I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day. And this morning I got on the treadmill and said, ‘OK then - this is my last chance! ”

Victoria had featured in Marc Jacobs’ campaign earlier this year (08) and she felt honoured to take part in another international fashion shoot.

She adds, “It’s a huge compliment being asked to be in the campaign and to be part of the worldwide campaign for Emporio Armani underwear. “It’s really exciting to me. Mr. (Georgio) Armani is a lovely person and his team is fantastic, so it’s a really exciting project for me to be involved with. And hopefully they will see a huge response.”
