Steven Gerrard

England mid-fielder Steven Gerrard who is regarded as a supreme soccer star has messed up his career with a brawl in Lounge Inn bar-restaurant. The ace 28 year old Liverpool star could well face up to five years in jail. He was arrested after being charged with assault last night over a punch-up in which a DJ was beaten.

Gerrard was with his friends celebrating his team’s victory over Newcastle on Sunday. He also celebrated for his two goals and a good 5-1 thrashing of Newcastle. All hell broke loose when Gerrard asked the DJ to hand him the playing card which allows one to change the music. DJ Marcus refused to hand him the card saying he could not alter the music policy.

A party witness said : “The whole thing lasted less than ten seconds. Gerrard was pulled out of the scrapping and it turned into a free-for-all…” Witnesses also said that there have been brawls earlier in the bar.

British soccer fans are shocked for Gerrard’s behaviour. England team boss Fabio Capello has already considered Gerrard for the 2010 World Cup.

Gerrard broke into a fight where part-time DJ Marcus McGee, 34, was wounded and needed four stitches to head wounds. Witnesses said there were Blood and shards of broken glass everywhere. The punch up took place on the floor of the pub which left England soccer hero Gerrard in police custody.

A shocked witness said: “Someone made a comment and it all went off.” Gerrard is believed to have gone through nine hours of police grilling.

Gerrard’s violent brawl comes after a few days when he spoke of the need for a crackdown on violence.

Gerrard who earns a whopping £120,000-a-week is reverred by young footballers for his 70 England caps feat.

DJ Marcus McGee was rushed to hospital after fighting broke out in the Lounge Inn bar-restaurant at around 2.30am yesterday.

Detectives reportedly spoke to witnesses and  rummaged through CCTV from the bar and surrounding streets.

Gerrard’s mansion home in Formby is close by from the crime scene. Marcus the DJ was with his friends who had an argument with Gerrard’s mates.

The witness said : “Marcus stepped in as peacemaker and it calmed down for a while. Everyone was drinking and having a good time. But when Marcus’s mates left, he was on his own and it was then that him and Gerrard started rowing by the dance floor.”

Dad-of-two Gerrard has captained England four times. Days ago he wrote a special Prayer for Liverpool for the city’s Anglican Cathedral. It read: “My hope for Liverpool for 2009 would be an end to gun and knife crime, making the city a place our kids can grow up to be proud of.”

Kate Moss

Kate Moss has lost her £3,000 ring gifted to her by her boyfriend. The jewellery was gifted to Kate by Kills rocker Jamie Hince. Kate allegedly lost it just hours after receiving the ring which was custom made. The ring had a blue stone and is supposed to have protective powers. It was specially made when Jamie Hince was on his band’s North American tour.

Sources said that Moss searched all over her Cotswolds home for the missing ring but could not find it. Later she flew out to Thailand with Jamie and Lila, her six year old daughter from her relationship with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack. Kate spent her Christmas with her daughter, Lila and Jamie.

Close sources revealed that Kate panicked soon after realising that the ring was not where it was supposed to be. A source revealed: “…Jamie had it made for her in Santa Fe, it is a Native American design and is meant to symbolise Kate’s future happiness and Jamie’s role in it…”When Kate realised it wasn’t back in its box she started scouring through bins and discarded wrapping paper looking for it. Jamie almost lost his temper when he thought they were going to miss their flight. After he got her in the car, Kate couldn’t stop apologising.”

Kate wanted a real de-stress and she was happy to have received such a wonderful symbolic gift. Kate Moss who is reportedly in Thailand for a super de-stress bid, is allegedly spending her time at a five-star medical spa in Thailand. Moss was earlier stressed for being a party hopper and leading a busy stressed out life. Kate once even said that she dows not have the time to settle down or to spend quality time with her daughter. Moss is a single parent.

Kate’s Thailand tour is a serious bid to improve her health and enliven her stressed mind. The hotel source(where Moss is undergoing treatment) added : “She’s having stress management based on equilibropathy techniques. Here, the navel and stomach the areas where stress, tension and negative emotions accumulate are massaged…” The source also spoke of Moss’s attempt to sort out her life. She was believed to be staying in the hotel’s top suite. The source said that if the view could not sort it all out then nothing really could.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman has sparked off rumours in her native city of Sydney, Australia. The actress angered locals because she moored her million dollar yacht outside an exclusive apartment block which she no longer owns. The locals lodged complaints against Kidman.

Nicole Kidman had already moved out of her exclusive harbourside home nearly a year ago. But her £2.1 million yacht has remained in the nearby marina. There are laws that say that the residents only can moor their boats in the marina vicinity. The locals have accused the government of turning partial and blind eye to the breach of law by Kidman.

A spokesperson for Kidman told the Sydney Morning Herald that the yacht had been left in the marina because the star had planned on buying another property on site, which did not happen. The spokesperson said that Kidman was not being spared by the law. The Kidman representative also said that the yacht would be removed from the spot next week.

Wally Paterson, an advisor to the owners’ corporation said he was “…absolutely adamant that everyone gets treated equally no matter who or what they are”. Residents of the Pier 6/7 block in Walsh Bay, Sydney, are reportedly angry that Kidman, who recently sold her apartment there, has been allowed to keep her luxury boat, the Hokulani, tied up outside. Locals started campaigning against government’s inaction. They insisted that the vessel be removed immediately. They also alleged that the estate’s committee has been overly linient on Kidman because of her star status.

Nicole’s spokesperson denied all such preferential treatment allegations : the governing committee “would never do anything just because it’s her”.

Paris Hilton

The robbery at Hilton house kept the millionaire socialite devastated. Hilton has reportedly shown utter shock and sense of great loss after the burglary at her L.A. home. Hilton said that she was grateful that she was not present at the moment of the robbery. But at the same time She tells Life & Style Weekly, “…I cannot believe someone broke into my home.They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace…”

Hilton’s mother has advised her daughter not to keep herself hooked to material pleasures and goods. Paris is “devastated” because of the massive worth of the jewellery taken. An estimated worth of $2 million (£1.3 million) of jewellery were stolen.

Paris was fortunate enough to be whiling away her time at her friend Christina Aguilera’s birthday party when the thief broke into her Sherman Oaks home and took off with the jewels. The surveillance cameras have reportedly caught the thief doing the act. The intruder’s identity has been caught on cameras around the Hilton house. But the identity is yet to be revealed.

An an inside source revealed that the cameras caught the thief carrying out the robbery : “…The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he’s been there before…Detectives are doing a huge investigation….”

Lindsay Lohan

A Lindsay Lohan fan was arrested on Wednesday for jumping on Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha. The fan was identified as Phoenix resident Daniel Patrick Combs. Combs identified himself as Lohan’s fan. The 38 year old Lohan fan lunged at Lohan and her friend, British DJ Samantha Ronson, outside Jackrabbit Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona. the news has been confirmed by the police.

Lohan and Ronson has told police that they did not know the man who attacked them. Lohan’s fame is worldwide and her relationship with Ronson has been a means of daily gossip and interest. Combs allegedly walked past the nighclub’s sedcurity and tried to grab Lohan. Combs according to the police was detained for some time but released after being booked on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.

David Beckham Victoria Beckham

David Beckham did bungee jump but only after texting his wife Victoria and telling it about it. Beckham was seen in Auckland, New Zealand along with his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates. Beckham was tensed according to his teammates.

His 134 ft bungee jump made him nervous. His LA Galaxy temamates lightened his mood by joking about the jump. Beckham was also seen text messaging his wife Victoria before he took the plunge.

A source said: “He looked a bit anxious and I think he was texting Victoria and the kids before he jumped. His friends were all laughing and giving the countdown…”

Soon after the plunge Beckham simply fell in love with it all. He wanted to do one more. David took the plunge in his jeans and trainers.

He was simply thrilled, so much that he even brought a souvenir video for his friends. The source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: ” He watched himself on it then took it home to show the family. I’m sure he wants them all to know how brave he was.”

The source also said that Beckham was made to enjoy and take a wilder jump. The source added : “…They made the bungee cord a bit longer so he went right into the water…he was raving about it. He was so excited
he wanted to go again straight away.”

Amy Winehouse’s junkie husband Blake Fielder Civil seems to be playing a double game with Amy Winehouse. He reportedly is spreading around that he does not want a penny from his wife to move out of their marriage. At the same time there are reports that suggest Blake has asked for £1Million to walk away from their marriage and not write a tell-all book about it. Amy’s manager has confirmed Blake’s deal.

Amy’s friends have also revealed about Blake’s bad intent. Blake has been sent back to jail after he failed to pass the drug test. He has reportedly told mother Georgette that Amy’s father Mitch has already made an open offer of £50,000 to divorce his daughter. Georgette has revealed that the secret deal was carried forward by Mitch after Blake started making public statements about his marriage and Amy’s life. Mitch became desperate after Blake’s confession to the “News of the World” last Sunday which said how he got Amy hooked on to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harm. All this was alarming and Mitch wanted to stop all details from being circulated.

Georgette said that Amy’s father phoned Blake at his Life Works rehab clinic in Woking, Surrey. But Blake was very angry and told Mitch, “If Amy wants to divorce I need to hear it from Amy—not you. “You’re organising your daughter’s divorce settlement and she doesn’t know anything about it. I’m not going to discuss anything with you.”

Georgette confirmed that his son did not want money and explained, “Mitch’s £50,000 offer was an insult. Amy’s worth £10 million and Blake’s her husband. He’s entitled to at least £3 million after all he’s been through with her.”

Amy Winehouse Blake Fielder-Civil

Amy Winehouse collapsed after overdoing drink and drugs. The addict singer was up for troubles yet again. The singer was regularly visiting rehab. But a sudden telephone fight with her husband (Junkie Blake) worsened things. Amy lost it all. She went too deep with her drug indulgence this time. She was all by herself and was rushed to a London clinic after collapsing with a “seizure” during the booze binge.

A close source confirmed the collapse news. The source added that the phone bust-up with her hubby following his release from jail: “They had a screaming row. She was beside herself after the call – and she just totally lost it.”

Amy’s junkie husband was out on early release but failed to get a cut in his 27-month sentence for attacking a pub landlord and perverting justice by trying to cover it up. Amy is reportedly recovering in the Hospital. Amy had a row on Saturday that was followed by drink overdose that lasted until the next day. Amy is paying his £32,000 treatment fee but has not visited him.

The source added : “It didn’t stop until she was on the floor on Sunday. She has ended up in hospital a few times after similar drink and drugs related seizures. If she carries on, one of these incidents will be her last.”

Amy’s spokesperson confirmed that Amy was hospitalized on Sunday but claimed she had “a bad reaction to the combination of medication she has currently been prescribed.”

Amy Winehouse has been taken to hospital and rehabs in the past that were of no avail. Her close friends and colleagues and several well wishers as well as present day musicians believe that Amy has a short life but a hevalily loaded talent which she is killing all by herself. Doctors have already started believing that if this goes on Amy will die very soon. Amy’s close friends believe that, “While Blake was inside Amy looked like she was finally getting her life back together.” Amy wants to severe all ties with his husband but Blake was heard saying : “I’m in love with her,” before he left London’s Court of Appeal.

Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand

Jonathan Ross was suspended by BBC for making obscene phone calls to Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs. Ross and comic Russell Brand had violated BBC code of conduct and right to privacy of individuals. Both had outraged licence-fee payers. They had called Sachs to tell him that Brand had slept with his granddaughter Georgina Baillie.

Brand quit his BBC radio show after the sick prank last month. BBC’s governing body claimed today that the action taken against the duo was right and truly appropriate. Regarding Jonathan Ross’s suspension Trust chairman Sir Michael Lyons said that BBC’s director general had taken the right action with regard to Ross, who was suspended without pay for three months.

Ross will be able to resume his services at BBC from January when his suspension ends. Sir Michael Lyons said : “We have underlined very clearly that it is not the job of the Trust to make decisions about the terms and conditions of performers or the sanctions that are applied to them when they are found to be wanting.

“We are very clear that the director general has taken the right action with respect to Jonathan Ross.” The Trust said the material broadcast on Brand’s Radio 2 show was a “deplorable intrusion” into the private lives of Mr Sachs and Miss Baillie. The Trust further elaborated that there was no need for the content to be broadcast as it had no “editorial justification” and neither any “informed consent obtained” for which the messages were aired. Andrew Sach’s wife Melody said Ross and Brand “picked on the wrong man” for their prank. The Trust said that there was no need or any valid point to justify the airing of the messages that were left on the answerphone of the 78-year-old actor.

The Trust’s report into the scandal and the hearing today made things look clear. Mrs Sachs said the family was “tired” of the so-called “Sachsgate” affair, but said they had “no bitterness at all” towards the BBC presenters. “Andrew has got nothing to say,” she said.

For now scores are settled and Ross can look forward to his return to work and his second innings with the BBC when his current three-month suspension without pay is up in January. A prank went too far to cost his job and Jonathan Ross would sure be a more presentable presenter in the future. That is what we can hope !

Lindsay was all tears after things took a rough turn with her lesbian lover Samantha Ronson. The pair had come for a trendy night out at a London night spot. Sam had spotted Lindsay dancing away her blues with her ex Calum Best. Samantha was seen rushing towards Li-Lo and went further by “throwing punches” on the dancefloor at Boujis. The joint is a favourite hotspot of Princes William and Harry.Playboy Calum, 27, had to tear them apart as the lovers broke into each other.

Lindsay was seen leaving the club hitting back at Sam and foul mouthing. She was seen “screaming and spitting” as the pair had to be pulled apart once again.  Lindsay had expressed her bi-sexual status at several occasions before. But Sam wants her to stay and continue with the relationship. Lindsay had also said that she wanted an open relationship so that she didn’t have to hide things from Samantha. She also said that she loved Sam dearly but could not get over her heterosexuality as well.

A shocked onlooker revealed yesterday: “Lindsay was having a boogie on the dance floor with Calum.

“They were getting pretty close to each other and Sam was nowhere to be seen.

“And then all hell broke loose. Sam came screeching up to Lindsay, screaming blue murder and throwing punches. She went ballistic.

“The pair traded a series of blows before Calum managed to prise them apart. It was a really ugly scene.”

Allegedly there were more blows being hurled in the venue’s lobby. Another eyewitness revealed: “Lindsay was furious with what Sam had done. “She launched herself at Sam in the lobby. She was spitting at her and clawing at her chest. She was fuming.”

Mahiki, another club . Another celebrant reveals that the source of the fire was unknown. The conversation and angry blows were unclear at the point. The reveller added : “It wasn’t clear what the argument was about, but at one point LiLo went to see Sam behind the decks and all people could see was them waving their fists at each other.

“LiLo finally put her hand in front of Sam’s face and walked back to the VIP area…When she got back to the VIP she was obviously in a foul mood…” Li-Lo was back in the VIP area with an obvious foul mood and also threw a glass on the floor which smashed on another girl’s foot on the next table.

The warring couple were driven back to their hotel in Kensington, West London, at around 4.30 am. Lindsay had an on-off romance with Calum, son of legendary Manchester United footballer George until they split in August 2007. Lindsay was last seen speaking on her mobile and was in tears sobbing. She came down to the ground in tears. She was seen returning to the hotel at around 6am.

Lindsay’s close pals had earlier revealed that she might be missing men. One said recently: “Lindsay says she loves Sam more than anything but she just can’t help that she is attracted to the opposite sex. She thinks that they should come to some sort of understanding.”

Miley Cyrus

Teen star Miley Cyrus attacked an internet hacker who broke into her YouTube account. The false claims of Miley’s death in a car crash simply infuriated the Teen star. She is left crusading against the hacker.

Cyrus’ official page on the video sharing website looked like she was the victim of a drink driving accident. Fans were petrified due to the post updated on Cyrus’ web page.

The incident was a cause of concern and quite obviously upset her friends and family, who quickly denied the claims. They blamed the incident on an internet hacker.

But the 15-year-old insists that by now she has grown accustomed to reading fictional stories written about her which neither had facts nor any linkage with her.

Pretending to be unaware of the event, she jokes with TV reporters on E!, “What happened? Did I die, like, bungee jumping, getting bulldozed, what happened this time? I got hit by a drunk driver! Ok, good. Wait. What? On my Web page? No. My Web page got hacked?”

When details were cleared up, Cyrus admitted she was “ticked” at the culprit behind the computer screen.

She added, “I’m gonna, like, smack ‘em!”

Lindsay Lohan Samntha Ronson

A night in London turned out to be a jealous lovers’ party night. Lindsay Lohan went out of her way to prove that Sam belongs to her and she was the only girl that mattered. Li-Lo who is known for her party girl image was in London for Sam’s DJing. Lindsay Lohan was near Samantha Ronson’s decks when girls went berserk. It was a DJ Rehab night.

Lohan was furious when the girls present near the DJ booth started to hurl their panties into the DJ booth. Lindsays then ordered the flunkies present to drive away the flirting girls. Things also got out of hand when Lindsay saw the girls handing over their drinks receipts with their numbers on the back.

A source adds : “She crawled on all fours under the bar and nestled up to Sam on the decks, hugging her as if to say she was her girl.” At around 4 am scuffle broke out when Sam and Li-Lo were leaving. There was madness all over the place with guests being pushed at. Samantha soothed Lindsay by having a “…full-on tongue sandwich, their hands all over each other. Nobody knew where to look.” Sam also performed a steamy lapdance all for her fuming and jealous girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. The party also had Lindsay Lohan’s old flame Calum Best who was seen sitting far far away from Li-Lo and Samantha. At the end Lindsay got back in Sam’s good books.

Jesse Metcalfe

Jesse Metcalfe, the former star of  Desperate Housewives, was rushed to the hospital after he fell down from a second-storey balcony in Monaco. Metcalfe rose to fame after playing Eva Longoria’s love interest in Desperate Housewives.

When asked about how the accident took place his representative said that  Metcalfe was in Monaco to host the World Music Awards. He was sitting on the balcony ledge from where he toppled down after leaning backward. He feel down 40 feet to the ground.

The actor was immediately admitted to the hospital for a brain scan and X-ray. His rep told to the Usmagazine.com that the star is “doing fine”now.  “He accidentally slipped off a balcony and was knocked unconscious”, added the representative, “but he is fine and now recovering from some minor bruises in a London hospital”.

Boyzone

Boyzone the once uber famous boy band got themselves busy in a boozy brawl with Rihanna’s band. The Nineties pop idols Boyzone, were in Australia for a visit. They were in a six hour booze binge when they tangled with members of superstar Rihanna’s band.

Trouble started when one of the Irish singers started chatting with a girl in Rihanna’s team in Sydney. Things went out of hand when Rihanna’s boyfriend took offence “…and all hell broke loose with fists flying everywhere…”, adds a close source. The source added : “Security came to break it all up. They got a stern talking to.”

The re-formed Boyzone were not even able to stand up straight. They were reportedly unsteady on their feet when the incident occurred.

Boyzone’s Stephen Gately later joked: “Well, we did get into a fight – certainly more than a difference of opinion. We are keeping up that fine image of the Irish and too much booze.

“It was over a girlfriend of one of Rihanna’s band members. We just wanted to chat and be friendly and this guy tries to rough us up.

“It was his girl and then all the other guys from the band start getting fresh with us – so it was on there and then.”

Samantha Ronson

DJ Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend  has been attacked by animal rights activists. She had criticized Californians’ decision to pass an animal rights bill but maintain a  ban on gay marriage.

After a vote in the state last week, Propositions 2 and 8 were both passed which means a massive improvement in protection for farm animals will be on its way and, at the same time, outlawing same sex marriage.

The lesbian DJ responded curtly to the results. She  posted a message on her MySpace.com page which read, “I just think it’s frightening that people show more compassion for tomorrow’s dinner than for the chef.”

Animal rights supporters and activists are fuming after the note circulated high and low. Ronson’s note prompted outrage and she sure is in the hit list for fanning more fire through her mails.

She is refusing to apologize, adding a new message that reads, “I apparently offended some animal lovers. Um, really people? I love animals as much as anyone, I don’t eat pork - so, for those of you fighting that good fight against me.., shut up! Her message is quite clear and speaks volumes. All she meant was fairness. Her recent statements sure reflects frankness and fairness in all forms. She did not mean to hurt the sentiments of the Animal lovers because she is one herself.

“I was just pointing out the fact that people in California seem to care more about animal rights than human rights? I’m not running around killing chickens for fun or firing a slingshot at a squirrel.”
