The popular actor, Michael Douglas has stated that his entire family is “devastated” after his son’s arrest on drug charges. The 30 year old Cameron Douglas was taken into custody on 28th July from Manhattan. He was accused of selling a drug named methamphetamine.

“The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron’s recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be”, said the worried parents, Michael and his former wife Diandra Douglas to People magazine.

Cameron, if proven guilty of selling thousands of dollars worth of methamphetamine, also known as Crystal Meth, will have to face a minimum 10-year jail sentence and a maximum of life imprisonment. He was arrested from a hotel in Manhattan. The prosecuting officer has brought charges of shipping large quantities of the drug from California to New York through the courier service Federal Express, against him.

Carmen was earlier restricted in an apartment after he was arrested. But now he is shifted to jail after his girlfriend, Kelly Sott, allegedly tried to smuggle heroin to him. The court documents stated that after Douglas asked for a toothbrush on Monday his girlfriend delivered it to him later that day. The guard who was in duty at that time opened the battery compartment of the toothbrush and found “a brownish substance that appeared to be heroin”.

It’s been confirmed by David Daniel Otunga, Jr., the representative of Jennifer Hudson on Monday that Oscar winner and singer has given birth to a baby boy. The new born, who came in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces was named after Hudson’s fiancé more popularly known as punk.

In a statement to the media Hudson’s representative said, “The baby is beautiful and perfect. His parents are ecstatic”.

Hudson did not make a public announcement of her pregnancy. It was during her inaugural tour of the U.S rumors began to spread that she was expecting after she appeared to be showing. And the singer also appeared visibly pregnant while she was performing at the memorial service for Michael Jackson last month.

The Hollywood Reporter mentioned that the happy parents to the new born did not try to find out the sex of the child as they wanted it to be a surprise for them. But the proud couple was also prepared with pink and blue clothes. Close sources have mentioned that Hudson had prepared with a baby shower in her native Chicago two months ago for the birth of the baby.

The couple possibly did not speak about Hudson’s pregnancy in public due to the recent mishap of the family tragedy, when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered. The separated husband of Hudson’s sister, William Balfour, has been charged in the murders and is awaiting trial.

The rumors of the couple splitting was ambushed by their public show of unity and affection. Earlier there were news of the  actress having been flown into a rage after she caught Brad rubbing the back of their nanny on the bed in the twins’ room.

Recently Angelina had been keeping really busy with her shoot for her upcoming film  spy thriller Salt in and around New York. The couple with ther 6 children – 3 biological and 3 adopted -  have rented a house in Long Island for their dwelling.

In the film Salt the Oscar nominated actress, who is also a mother of six and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, will play CIA officer Evelyn Salt. Jolie, in the film will be on a  mission to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. There are several action-packed scenes including Ange dangling out of an apartment block window.

Robert Pattinson, the hottest vampire on screen celebrated his 23rd birthday on Wednesday. Surrounded by friends and co-stars and family in Vancouver where the star is currently filming “New Moon”, the birthday bash of the Twilight actor was a thing to remember.

Among many guests, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and Jamie Campbell Bower were present at the party celebrated at Glowbal Grill and Satay Bar. “Everyone enjoyed a hearty meal and had a good appetite“, one of the guests present said. The guests were served with mouthwatering cuisines like Kobe beef meatballs, lamb, steak, salads and roasted vegetables.

Along with the meal the guests were served a large variety of desserts like cheesecake, chocolate coffee cake and white chocolate mousse. “There was a lot of buzz and energy in the restaurant. Being in the same restaurant as Rob Pattinson for his birthday is great“, said another guest at the party.

According to reliable sources besides the “New Moon” co-actors, Pattinson’s parents were also present in the party. “Robert’s parents were all smiles. They were kind of quiet but very gracious and polite. You could easily see where Robert got his reserved demeanor from“, said a guest present at the party.

“I was so happy to see Rob and help him celebrate his 23rd birthday. He took the time to meet us and take a picture with us, that was so cool“, added a fan of Robert Pattinson present at the party. The location of the party was made public on Twitter.

A birthday wish in advance for Jennifer Aniston who will be turning 40 on 11th February. Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 40th birthday, well in advance, with a lavish party on Saturday night. The ‘Friends’ star had recently claimed that she has no worries of aging. Jennifer’s ideas about aging are very similar to that of Brad Pitt. Brad is said to still in huge admiration for Jennifer. Kate Moss was way beyond her antics this time. She could do little to please her neighbours with her birthday party. The party turned out to be a hell of a raucous. The super model’s wild 35th birthday party brought police. Cops were called twice to her London home following several complaints about the noise.

Following a private party with friends and rocker boyfriend Jamie Hinceat London’s Dorchester Hotel on Thursday (15Jan09), Moss carried on celebrations with a medieval-themed

party at her home in North London. Her celebrations turned a bit too wild to irritate her neighbours. Some of her neighbours also claims that Moss has lived a very wild life and most of her parties are too loud and too wild.

Moss’s party continued till the wee hours, with distressed neighbours also calling the council to complain. Several complaints and police patrols and noise pollution patrols could not save the neighbours from the acute distress. The party allegedly turned wilder with each passing moment to prove Kate’s defiance of law.

One neighbour, a 51-year old foster caretaker, told British newspaper The Mail on Sunday that the supermodel’s party disturbed her three young babies. The tots could not sleep the entire night. – and it wasn’t the first time, complains the elderly lady.

The neighbour says, “Several of us complained. It was just so uncomfortable. It’s been like that since she moved here last summer; on and off. I had to take the kids to another bedroom because of the noise. I phoned the council to complain”.

But visits from the police and Camden Council anti-noise patrols didn’t deter the beauty and her celebrity mates from banging on. with another resident revealed that as soon as the council were out of sight the music was turned up again.

The resident says, “All my family were trying to sleep so I complained tothe council. They turned up just before 1 a.m. but as soon as they left it went up again and went on until (I was) gone (at) 7 a.m”.

Britney Spears will have a New York parade arranged for her. Her birthday will be a wild affair with an alleged circus-themed party. Her birthday coincides with her new album launch.

The pop star will celebrate her 27th birthday on 2 December (08) with the release of her highly-anticipated comeback album, “Circus”.

NYP confirms an all-out bash at star-studded nightclub Tenjune. A source tells the newspaper her party will be “a very private, Circus-theme event”. Britney will reportedly start off her day by taking over American TV sets with an eye-popping performance on chat show Good Morning America.

The Electra star who has become one of the most doting mothers in Hollywood with daughter Violet’s birth seems to be ready for a baby again. While out with husband or daughter in recent outings she has been wary of the flashbulbs but that bump seems to be more visible to all and sundry.

In fact the local media in Boston has already started to report on the upcoming pregnancy. Garner has reportedly passed the trimester and has also told her friends of the probable pregnancy. The couple is rumoured to be very excited about the forthcoming birth and is yet not decided on whether they should know the sex of the baby. On Monday Jennifer was seen out with daughter Violet in a Color Me Mine store. After finishing up with their painting fun the duo made their way back to their car with Jen holding her daughter close to her strategically placed so that her baby bump is not visible. The reports however have not been confirmed by the couple or their representatives.
