John Mayer says that he is supposedly the right man for his girlfriend, Jennifer. Mayer is said to be convinced with this fact. He had taken an online poll at People magazine’s website. John and Jennifer had had a split earlier in their relationship. John was the one who came up to Jennifer and decided to mary her and stay together.

John Mayer took part in a relationship survey carried out by the People magazine. The survey asked : “Is John Mayer a keeper?” John gave a positive answer to this. He voted in favour of their relationship. He wrote that he considered himself as the right man for the ‘Bruce Almighty’ actress.

John stated on his Twitter : “I just voted on People’s ”Is John Mayer a Keeper?” poll. I clicked ”Love Him.” Be honest, you’d vote for yourself if you came across it, as well. Wouldn’t you?”  John’s relationship is stronger than it ever was. However Jennifer has been interviewed and has stated that she still feels that it is not the right time for her  to decide on marriage.

Chris Brown

Chris Brown’s present situation is clearly making him stand up and firm. Brown’s pleas have reportedly reached the right legal ears. Chris Brown’s case might get a pardon off.

Legal sources revealed that Brown’s lawyers and attorneys are in the process of talks with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

The talks are carried out on the basis of a possible plea deal which would completely place Brown off the hook. Chris the R&B singer was charged on the basis of battery felony for hitting his girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown was hoped to receive a jail term but the present circumstances would see Brown wind up the probation completely and come out fresh as a flower.

District Attorney reportedly received the case details from the LAPD only today. Mark Geragos who is defending Chris Brown’s case, began his legal fight with prosecutors earlier in the week. “Geragos was downtown meeting with the D.A. on Monday,” says a legal source. D.A is the District Attorney.

The source also revealed that the lawyers are trying to come to an agreement which would make Brown a free man. This would happen only if the singer pleads guilty to a misdemeanor, but it is not clear whether prosecutors, who had been asking for felony-caliber evidence against the singer, and Brown’s legal team will ever compromise.

Al Pacino Robert De Niro

Actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino have sued film distributor and a German Watchmaker Company for alleged false misuse of the actors’ images for promotional purposes. The lawsuit filed by the actors stated that although Tutima watch advertisements had a tie up with 2008 film “Righteous Kill,” the actors were shown in the advertisements in such a manner as to suggest that they endorsed the watch brand.

Robert and Al Pacino are seeking damages from Overture Films, based in Los Angeles, California, and Tutima Inc, a German watchmaker. There were a series of promotional campaingns which included one advert showing the actors’ faces. Their names were used above a picture of a Tutima watch as well. Then a video clip from “Righteous Kill” was surfaced which was made to appear on Tutima’s website. All these factors were stated in the lawsuit filed by the actors.

“De Niro’s and Pacino’s policies concerning commercial endorsements and tie-ins are common knowledge in the entertainment industry,” the lawsuit said. “Defendants’ actions have damaged De Niro’s and Pacino’s valuable reputations and diminished the commercial value of their name and images.” The lawsuit cleared out few points which validated the suit.

The lawsuit said : De Niro only endorsing a product or service “under very specific and compelling circumstances.” Pacino, over the course of his lengthy career, has never commercially endorsed any product or service in the United States.”

Neither Overture nor Tutima could be reached for comments on the legal proceedings or other datas. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Manhattan, seeks monetary damages for breach of contract, violations of right of publicity and right of privacy laws in an amount to be determined at trial.

Jesus Luz

Jesus Luz who claims to be dating Pop Queen Madonna, reportedly dumped another model named Krishna Siqueira for Madonna. Jesus Luz is riding high on success heels. Since he has tied up with Madonna (a very clever move) Luz’s career has sky rocketed and he is from straight nobody to some busy body for sure. Jesus has even forgotten his Brazilian roots. His family claims that Luz was a very good Catholic boy who got swayed by Madonna’s moves. Jesus Luz has become very famous after he posed alongside Madonna for W Magazine.

Krishna Siqueira was a 20 year old model who reportedly dated Luz for five months. Luz then started falling for Madonna and suddenly their relationship was no more there.

Soon after the shoot for the magazine, Luz and Madonna started to ring the rumour mills with daily updates of their fling.

However Krishna claims that she does not feel for Jesus anymore and she has long gotten over him.

Krishna wittily added that Jesus Luz had made a very clear statement and has proved that he has very high ambitions. Krishna said she very well understood Luz’s ambitions.

Madonna

Krishna revealed : “In the beginning I was very upset. I wasn’t expecting this at all. But we are still friends and we still talk. I understand his view because I want to have success as well. So I’m not going to have fits of jealousy or try to hinder his life.” Krishna made it a point to clarify her statement. She said that Luz was very mature as a person in real life and he sure had no intention to have an affair with Madonna only for the sake of publicity. Krishna also said that Luz described Madonna as a “wonderful person”. Krishna added : “I honestly didn’t want to ask for many details. Maybe because I am jealous. He says he is in a great phase of his life.”

Madonna has introduced Jesus Luz to her Kaballah belief. Luz has also been introduced to Madonna’s kids. Luz is becoming a part of Madonna’s family. The couple have a massive age difference but is going strong with each day.

Britney Spears' Circus

Britney Spears starts her ‘Circus’ tour, an event in Britney’s life after a gap of nearly five years. Britney’s ‘Circus’ tour started off last night(3rd march,2009) at New Orleans Arena. Britney’s much anticipated tour has left her family all thrilled and excited. Fans,friends and family are praying for Britney’s recent tour to touch and reach the highest state.

The tour had frenzied concert goers who were seen frantically Twitting away the event. Britney wowed her home crowd. The media members and fans had lined up hours before to get the tour memorabilia as well as to prove their faith and loyalty towards the Pop Queen.

Britney’s comeback is the much talked about affair. The pop star has had a troubled life in her 27 years of career, fame and fortune. The show reportedly received huge reaction with more and more fans seen buying the tickets. “A lot of people got tickets really early,” Travis Bergeron, a Britney fan, said.

Britney as thought, before, did not disappoint her fans and audience. Britney’s aunt Linda Ann Brandon-Kjos said : “I am so excited for her, and I wish I could be there.” Britney’s public meltdown had kept her family all worried about the tour. And now Britney brood is all excited and lending their support for the pop songstress.

The tour opened up with a stellar performance by Pussycat Dolls. The audience wanted for more and the tone was set right for the nihgt. Britney’s song list included a 16 song set – some which were “Radar,” “Boys,” a “Gimme More” remix, “Everytime,” “Me Against the Music” backed by Bollywood-inspired dancers, “Do Somethin’,” the more than suggestive “Touch of My Hand” and the pleasantly controversial “If U Seek Amy.” Then came the greatest hits part which came quite obviously in the coveted end of the show. These included “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Toxic” and “…Baby One More Time” and of course “Womanizer”.

Britney Spears stunned the audience by entering in a slammer. The 27 year old pop star descended from the ceiling and dove into “Circus” and then “Piece of Me,” off of 2007’s ‘Blackout’. The stripper poles were made good use of by the pop diva. Britney also enjoyed her performance alongside her dancers who were treated like special stuff by Britney.

There were sparks, there were whistles and then there was a thrilling chill that ran down the spines of the lucky ones to be present. Britney obliged all. She thanked and bid adieu, wishing the audience a sweet goodnight.

U2

The Irish Rock band U2 will be honoured with a street named after their band. A temporary name was placed for a Manhattan street in their honor. This is to mark U2’s 12th studio album as well as the band’s appearance every night this week on CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman.” All these have been kept in mind while a part of 53rd street in Midtown Manhattan was renamed U2 Way.

Naming or renaming streets and roads are a very common affair in general. There has been several streets named after celebrities in the past. Whatever be the case this sure is a thing to celebrate for the Irish rock band U2. “The Beatles had Penny Lane, Elvis lived on the end of Lonely Street,” U2 singer Bono told reporters and fans on the corner of Broadway and 53rd Street. We’re here somewhere between 10th Avenue and funky, funky Broadway, somewhere south of Duke Ellington Way and north of Joey Ramone Place we find ourselves … where the streets have no name,” he said.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the naming of the street on Tuesday. However the renaming of the block of 53rd Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue will be there for just a week. Michael Bloomberg added : “It’s a beautiful day, to quote a famous Irish rock band, Everyone in this city, including me, considers these four Dubliners honorary New Yorkers.”

U2’s new release “No Line On The Horizon” is thought to bring in the most for the U2. It is a star rated album and also estimated to be 2009’s one of the biggest pop ventures.

U2’s present album is rated to be the band’s 10th British No. 1 album which puts U2 just one short of Elvis Presley’s record. The Beatles stand at a record 15. U2 however stands at equal platform alongside Madonna. U2 sold 9 million copies worldwide for their last album.

Danny Boyle

Danny Boyle had been offered to direct the sequel of last year’s (08) Quantum of Solace. Danny´s success rate (Slumdog Millionaire winning several Oscars) made him the the only option as it was reported that Danny had always expressed his desire to direct atleast one Bond film. But Danny has reportedly turned  down the offer citing professional directives as the sole reason as nothing else.

Danny Boyle however insisted that the simple linking of his name with the Bond brand made him “flattered” but at the same time the down to earth director also stated that he had no plans as such to direct the next movie. Bond bosses had reportedly approached the uber famous movie maker, Boyle to come up with the next Bond sequel.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “He has been offered the chance to direct the 23rd Bond film by (Bond producer) Barbara (Broccoli). Everyone on the Eon team thinks Danny would be the perfect addition to the Bond family”. Another spokeswoman for Danny Boyle revealed : “While Danny says he always has and always will enjoy the Bond movies he has no plans to direct one. Danny is naturally flattered to be thought of!” Danny Boyle´s Bond film is shelved for now and the rumours have been well snubbed aside. But the real rumours which are doing the rounds are that Danny Boyle is in talk with Sony Pictures planning a musical remake of ´My Fair Lady.´ Dany is keen to get down to business with ´My Fair Lady.´ He has reportedly turned down the teen-assassin project ´Hanna´, so that he could concentrate on the musical whose screenplay has already been prepared by actor-writer Emma Thompson.

Neither Sony Pictures nor Boyle confirmed on the final talks. The film is still ready to be planned but Boyle has reportedly worked and planned on it. ´My Fair Lady´ is in the safe hands as Danny is regarded as a no rules man. His connections could go well beyond the expectations of the Producers and the movie houses.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is expected to make a well anticipated comeback. MJ will reportedly be in London this week and he is expected to make a very special announcement. Organisers confirmed that there is a possibility of a series of MJ´s comeback concerts in the city. MJ has not performed in any shows, or live performances, neither has he worked on any label in the recent past. He has however maintained that he is working on his music and sits on regular sessions of music. Recently MJ has had his share of bitter experiences with legal proceedings regarding his property sales has revealed his actual wealth status. MJ was also reported to have a huge debt in the market and owed millions to several people around the world.

Whatever be the case talks are on and the Jackson shows are a confirmed news. Music promoter AEG Live has invited for a press conference which will be taking place at the O2 arena in London, where the concerts will most likely take place. Jacko and the AEG Live reps are to attend the Thursday event. There have been reports of record contracts and health issues that have made Jacko stay in the news recently. MJ has kept a low profile all along since he came out of his allegations and legal case surrounding 2005 child sex abuse charges.

Michael Jackson´s last appearance had been World Music Awards in London in 2006.

The stylish young actress is going places and is even said to be the next big thing of the fashion town. Several industry experts and International fashion magazines believe that Freida would rise much higher than estimated by many.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

The Jonas Brothers could not live up to the general expectations of the public and the industry experts. There was a massive hype for the Jo-Bro´s latest film , “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” which earned a mere $12.7 million in an estimated three-day sales. This was sure a damping experience for the Jo-Bros who had expected to churn out more for their label and godfather distributor Walt Disney Co. An insider from the Walt Disney Co said that the earnings were low compared to the high scale promotions and high voltage industry forecasts. The industry forecasts reached a very high estimate of $25 million which is rather wild to be considered.

“Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” fell a flat second to the comedy film about a tough-talking old lady, “Madea Goes to Jail”. The older black woman outnumbered the teen idols – The Jonas Brothers. “Madea Goes to Jail” earned a high grossing of $16.5 million which overall took the 10-day total of the film to a whopping $64.9 million. The Jo-Bros had tried everything to pull in young crowds by even physically appearing at various studios.

The Walt Disney Picture´s latest quest with the Jonas Brothers have put the teen idols up for a race with Miley Cyrus whose popular concert film “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds,” had opened with a smashing $31.1 million a year ago, and ended up with $65.3 million. The ongoing fight between Miley and the Jonas Brothers is up yet again.
