The Catfight between Madonna and Lady GaGa Stole all the Attention of American Viewers on Saturday Night Live!

The American audience was truly stunned by the publicity stunt staged on the sets of the very popular live show this week, the Saturday Night Live. Pop diva Madonna and the British singer Lady GaGa staged an entertaining and well-acted catfight on live TV.
Both the singers were dressed in matching black lingerie, knee-length boots and were performing a perfectly synchronized dance-off on a made up show, ‘Deep House Dish’, when suddenly Madonna started behaving quite oddly and pulled Lady GaGa’s wig. The fighting, which was initiated by the pop diva turned into a fierce brawl involving hair pulling, wrestling and saying offensive things about each other.
Host Kenan Thompson’s effort to rip the two apart and get them back on the couch was in vain as they went on exchanging insults. After Madonna pulled GaGa’s wig and yelled: “What the hell is a disco stick?”- referring to the young singer’s hit song, GaGa yelled back: “Guess what, Madonna? I’m totally hotter than you,”. In her defense Madonna replied: “I’m totally taller than you.” and also added: What kind of name is Gaga? Sounds like baby food!” GaGa was quick enough to answer back. She replied with full confidence: “The kind of name that is number one on the Billboard chart.”
The comedy war of words continued for few minutes and then finally ended with the two pop stars kissing each other. The fight, which seemed so real to the audience initially, was a part of the comedy skit and was in fact, the main attraction of the evening.
The catfight was followed by a comedy skit about a family porcelain fountain firm, enacted by the guest host Ryan Reynolds and his wife Scarlett Johansson. The show finally ended with a comedy segment by Reynolds and comedian Andy Samberg.
Well, it was indeed an extremely entertaining star-studded Saturday Night Live, with the two pop singer’s catfight still being the main attraction.

Drew Barrymore’s injury seems lucky for her career as a director – her debut film Whip It hit the top list!

The Hollywood superstar Drew Barrymore was badly injured while she was busy filming for her directorial debut “Whip It” – a film about a roller derby team. As reported on a website, the actress had a quite serious bruise on her leg during a training session with the star Racer McChaser of the Detroit Derby Girls. Barrymore was left black and blue when the training session went wrong. The 34-year-old actress was on her roller skates, wrestling and rolling around the track – when she had a foot long and a foot wide cut across her leg.
As she said: “We were wrestling and rolling around on the track, one of our skates and both our body weights were on my thigh. I had a bruise that was a foot long and a foot wide. My entire leg was covered,”
It seems that the incident disheartened Barrymore a bit, as “Whip It” is going to be the first comedy drama, where the actress is not only cast as the leading lady, but tried her luck as a Hollywood film director as well.
Not to worry Drew! As they say, “All’s well that ends well”- It did indeed! Surely, the actress’s hard work as a director paid off! Whip It hit the top list on its debut week as far as popularity is concerned. But, to rate Drew Barrymore as a director – well, we should rely on the judgment of the critics.

Tara Reid is back as Vicky Lathum. Yes. The actress is to play the character Vicky Lutham in the next ´American Pie´ film called ¨Book Of Love.¨ After spending the beginning of this year in rehab, Red is all set to be a part of the film franchise once again. She had played Vicky Lathum in the first two Pie movies.
Apart from Reid, original American Pie star Eugene Levy, crooner Wayne Newton, and TV actor Sherman Hemsley (from ´The Jeffersons´) will also be a part of the film cast. ¨Book of Love¨ is to be directed by John Putch. Production and released dates are yet to be announced.
The ´American Pie´ films were huge hits and made Tara Reid famous. The actress, therefore, wants to set return to her roots in her attempt to restart her career. Reid suffered a professional setback after the ´American Pie´ films. Her films bombed at box office, and ´Taradise´, her show on E! was canceled soon after it started due to poor ratings. She was in the rehab for alcohol and anorexia problems.

An argument seems to have erupted when Radiohead refused to meet Miley Cyrus backstage at the 51st Grammy Awards. On Johnjay and Rich radio show the Hanna Montana sensation revealed that she idolizes Radiohead and she is a bit dissapointed with their response towards her.

The English alternative rock band ignored Miley even though she was only four dressing rooms away from them. The 16-year-old pop star further added that she had already texted all her friends.
Thom Yorke, the lead vocal and Rahiohead’s frontman, and his crew told to Miley Cyrus’ manager that when it comes to meeting people “We don’t really do that”.
Radiohead are reportedly plotting a summer tour and hitting the studio this summer.
Miley Cyrus has a reason to smile as Coldplay’s frontman and husband of Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin is her fan.

Julia Roberts is all set to return with her role in Universal’s “Duplicity”, co-starring her co-star Clive Owen.
Duplicity written and directed by seven-time Oscar-nominated Michael Clayton’s Tony Gilroy is a story of two corporate spies with a romantic past who “hook up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses”.
Roberts and Owen have starred as a married couple in 2004’s Closer which had been nominated for two Oscars.
Julia, 41 had been away as a leading lady from the big screen for three long years, following the birth of her twins.
She had been lured back to Hollywood in 2007’s Charlie Wilson’s War by director Mike Nichols.
