Actress Nicole Richie was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Wednesday with a serious case of pneumonia. The star had not been keeping well for over a week. Sources close to Richie mentioned to Fox411 that although they were worried, they are a lot relieved now to know that Nicole is finally getting proper medical treatment. A source close to Richie was quoted as mentioning to Fox411 that the diminutive actress began feeling achy as early as November 9. Richie gave birth to her second child, Sparrow, just 2 months before on September 9. “Nicole began feeling sick, and has pretty much been in bed. She didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but she was exhausted and couldn’t take care of Harlow and Sparrow the way she normally does. Nicole spent most days in bed, and the kids were brought in to her, since she was feeling so icky”, Richie’s friend told Fox411. While the actress had to be rushed to the hospital, her husband Joel Madden, was working overseas with his brother, Benji.
