Macaulay Culkin with Michael Jackson

Remember the little kid smacking his face and screaming at the two notorious thieves in “Home Alone”? If you do, then fasten up your seat belts to get the shock of your life. News have been spreading fast that Macaulay Culkin could be the biological father of Blanket, Michael Jackson’s youngest son. Blanket, who is also referred as Prince Michael II, is the son of the Home Alone kid.

Culkin met the late king of pop when he was just 10 years old in 1990. The child actor had stayed over at Jackson’s house in Neverland Ranch and they both are even reported to have shared beds that night. In 2005 Culkin had been a witness in Michael’s child molestation trial, after which they remained friends forever. There were also rumors that Michael had asked Culkin to donate sperm at some point of time.

A report published in The Sun, which is a British tabloid stated that, “This isn’t just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he’s Blanket’s father. So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet. But … he was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down. Really, Jackson idolized him—that’s why he asked Mack to donate sperm. Deep down, I think he always wished Mack was his son. Creating Blanket was the next best thing”.

Culkin or his representative has not yet commented on the paternity rumors.

DJ AM

The high profile disc jockey named DJ AM was found dead in his apartment in Manhattan on Friday evening according to police reports. DJ AM became popular on the celebrity club circuit for his much talked about relationships as well as his creative scratching and mixing.

According to police records, DJ AM’s (whose real name was Adam Goldstein) body was found in his apartment’s 7th floor in SoHo at around 5.30 in the evening. His friends tried to contact him for a couple of days, failing which they informed the police to look into the matter.

The body of the 36 year old DJ was found head down on his bed in sweatpants. Police also obtained some unspecified prescription drugs and a crack pipe near his body. A friend who had been repeatedly trying to contact Goldstein for a couple of days had to call in the emergency workers, who finally broke the door to enter the apartment. After they discovered the body of the DJ they called the police on Friday.

An interview of Mr. Goldstein with The New York Times published in 2007 stated that the late DJ in his 20s was much into drinking, taking cocaine and smoking crack. The DJ even tried to commit suicide in 1997 when he reached his lowest point.

“At my core I am a glutton, so I’ve had to learn everything in moderation”, DJ AM said in an interview at that time.

Megan Fox

This must be a heart breaking news for all you men there. The very hot Megan Fox has recently revealed that she prefers kissing girls to boys.

In her newly released horror film, “Jennifer’s Body”, Megan Fox had a smoking hot kissing scene with her co-actress Amanda Seyfried. Both the actors seemed perfectly comfortable kissing each other in the mentioned scene.

Megan was also quoted as saying to MTV News, “I feel much safer with girls, so I felt more comfortable kissing her in the movie than kissing any of the other people that I had to kiss”. She also added, “I think she (Amanda) was extremely uncomfortable. I don’t think that, I know that. She was not comfortable and there was a lot of laughing, like, giggling fits that happened in between takes”.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman has recently spilled that she has hots for “dirty” and “obscene” rap music. In an interview with Jake Gyllenhaal, who is also Portman’s co-star in new war movie Brothers, the Israeli actress said that she had developed likings for such music.

The V For Vendetta actress was asked, “What song best describes your current state?” she simply stated with a smile, “I’ve mostly been listening to dirty rap lately, that’s sort of my scene – really, really obscene hip-hop”. The interview was published in Interview magazine.

Portman also added that such kind of music videos gives her a good laugh. “I love it so much, it makes me laugh and then it makes me want to dance”. When Jake asked Portman what is it that really scares her, the actress said it was 80s cartoon Smurfs. “Because that bad guy, Gargamel, was so terrifying. I was scared of a lot of cartoons. I’m kind of wussy like that”, said the 28 year old actress.

The Other Boleyn Girl star also stated that she would have worked as a bike messenger if she would not have been an actress. “I can make chit chat, but not much else. I’d basically have trouble with any job that doesn’t require me to wear silly clothes and talk in funny voices”, she said.

George Clooney

A car accident has resulted in a mis-hap in Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney’s life. Clooney had broken his hand. As reported by Euro-press, Clooney was riding his Harley Davidson with his newfound love Elisabetta Canalis around Lugano, at the Swiss-Italian border.

Stan Rosenfield, Clooney representative was quoted as saying, “There was an accident, and he did break his hand. He was not riding a motorcycle, it was not in Switzerland. … He was on his property in Italy, and he shut the car door on his hand”.

The fans can now take a sigh of relief as the doctors have confirmed that the 49 year old actor is now in perfect health and is doing fine. “The doctor has given him 30-40 years more to live, and no live animals were harmed during the wrapping of the hand”, said Rosenfield. Clooney was treated at the Ars Medica clinic in Gravesano, Switzerland. The clinic is a 40 minutes drive from Clooney’s home in Lake Como, Italy.

Rosenfield also added, “The only reason he went to the hospital was to get a temporary cast put on”.

Michael Jackson

The unexpected death of the king of pop Michael Jackson has left the whole focus and concern on the murder investigation. Although the main suspect behind the death of the pop star is his personal physician, a Houston based doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, no charges have yet been filed against him.

Investigative officers have cited that Dr. Murray advised a lethal mixture of drugs to Jackson in order to help the pop singer come out of his chronic insomnia. It has been revealed recently through a search warrant affidavit in Houston that Jackson’s body contained a mix of sedatives of lethal dose at the time of his death. The Los Angeles medical examiner investigation suggested that none of the drugs alone would have resulted to death of the singer in the amounts administered, but the combination of the drugs certainly did.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who administered the drugs to the 50-year-old pop singer, might be charged with involuntary manslaughter. Dr. Murray has not commented anything on this report, which was published by mistake on Monday in Houston. The Dr. has conceded his innocence claiming he did not do anything with an intention otherwise.

In a recent statement stated by Dr. Murray he said, “I have done all I could do. I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail”.

Melanie Griffith

It was confirmed by the “Working Girl” star, Melanie Griffith’s publicist today that the star had been put to rehab again. The news was first published by the Star magazine. Earlier the 52 year old star was put to the Utah’s Cirque Lodge Rehab Facility, which was also a temporary home of Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst for an anti-drug treatment.

The reason for Griffith to be admitted to a rehab, as cited by her publicist, was “commitment to stay healthy”. But contradicting this statement, FOXNews.com’s Pop Tarts stated that the reason for this was partly because her 49 year old actor husband, Antonio Banderas, refused to take any more of her erratic behavior.

It was also reported to Pop Tarts by one of the actors who had recently worked with Griffith that she “had a multitude of crazy demands, including insisting everything around her, from the food to the flowers, be yellow”.

Griffith’s publicist also said, “She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy. This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctor’s years ago”.

Earlier in 2000 the actress was put to rehab resulting from an addiction to painkillers, which she began using after she suffered from a major neck injury. In 1988 Griffith was admitted to a rehab center in Minnesota for quite sometime to fight with alcoholism and cocaine addiction right after she completed filming “Working Girl.”

“Overcoming addictions is tough but it can be made easier if you have someone that can offer support. My husband and family supported me so much through this journey and continue to do so”, Griffith once wrote in her website.

Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela is Miss Universe 2009

The glittering evening of Miss Universe 2009 was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas in West Indies on 23rd August 2009. The crown was won by the 18 year old Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela, which is Venezuela’s 6th win in the contest.  This is also the country’s 2nd consecutive win of the international beauty pageant title.

Fernandez dazzled the stage in a flashing red gown. Miss Dominican Republic was declared as the first runner up. Fernandez, who defeated 83 contestants from all over the world, received the glittering crown costing 120,000 dollars from last year’s winner, Dayana Mendoza, who is also from Venezuela. Ada Aimee de la Cruz of Dominican Republic was crowned as the first runner-up while Kosovos Gona Dragusha was declared as the 2nd runner-up.

There were three categories in which the girls were judged – swimwear, evening gown and interview as they competed for the most sought after title. The whole show was hosted by Claudia Jordan, model, actress and former Miss Rhode Island USA, and Billy Bush, Access Hollywood co-anchor.

Heidi Montag

This was a real treat for eyes and ears for those present at the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant. Heidi Montag appeared in tight sequined pants and a matching bra to perform live at the event on Sunday. Monag sang “Body Language” from her debut album, which was her first live performance.

Montag while talking about her first ever live performance said, “I think people don’t know what to expect, and how can they? It’s my first performance live and it’s in front of a billion eyes. So I’m very excited to show everyone what I’m coming with”.

The singer maintained her dance moves to simple steps while her fans cheered her constantly. An unnamed source suggested that Montag’s performance might have been canceled as the production stuff thought she might not remember her lyrics. As a reply to such criticism Montag said she was excited about her first live performance, “I’m very excited for everybody to see this,” she said. “I think a lot of people are expecting something very different”.

But Montag’s spotlight was shared by the Miss Universe beauty queens who dazzled on the ramp while Montag performed. A major part of her performance was interrupted by flashing images of the 15 finalists doing a bikini photo shoot in the Bahamas.

It has also come into news that Heidi Montag is planning a second breast implant operation and would be heading to the cosmetic surgeon sometime soon. She had undergone a breast enhancement surgery earlier in 2007.

“They’re not as big as they used to be… I dance a lot, I ride around a lot, I workout a lot; I don’t know what happened. They’re the best things I’ve ever had, I’m so excited about them every day and I think I want bigger (breasts)”, said Montag who feels her bery hectic lifestyle has resulted in her boobs to shrink.

Michael Jackson

A portrait of Michael Jackson painted in 1984 by King of Pop Art Andy Warhol is being sold at an auction in New York. The price at which the portrait has been sold is not disclosed yet.

As reported by the Vered Art Gallery of Long Island, an anonymous buyer had “paid over 1 million dollars” for the Michael Jackson’s portrait. The art work was at a display at London’s O2 Arena prior to the sale as reported by the BBC news. The portrait of Jackson that celebrated the record sales of album ‘Thriller’ was 76cm by 66cm in size. Earlier the portrait of actress Elizabeth Taylor by Andy Warhol was sold at a walloping 23.7 million dollars in 2007.

The king of pop might have passed away two months ago, but people have been cashing in on various memorabilia of Jackson. From autographs of MJ to t-shirts printed up in the wake of the singer’s sudden death almost everything is being sold at large.
