Pinault and Hayek

Yes, that´s right. The sultry Salma Hayek is planning a second wedding. The actress and her business tycoon husband François-Henri Pinault had got married quietly at the 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day. Now, the couple will be walking down the aisle once again, this time in Venice, Italy.

The wedding, which is to take place this weekend, will, reportedly, start with a rehearsal dinner on Friday. A wedding ceremony will follow on Saturday at the Palazzo Grassi, a white marble palace that was built in 1748-1772 and has been owned by the Pinault family since 2005.  There is reason for the wedding to be held at the marvelous Pinault home. It is where the couple had met for the first time when François-Henri Pinault had thrown a party in 2006.

Guests to the grand wedding will include Antonio Banderas, who announced at a press conference in Spain that he will be joining his wife Melanie Griffith for friend Hayek´s marriage. Penelope Cruz and Luis Miguel are among other celebrities who have been invited.  Hayek, 42, had announced earlier this month “I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun.” That is exactly what you can expect at a gala star-studded wedding in an enchanting palace.
