Miley Cyrus has been quoted saying in a recent interview that she does not want to work in a sequel of Hannah Montana. The teen said that she feels one film adaptation is enough for her popular TV character.

The film hasn’t yet hit the theaters and the Kids’ Choice Award-winning star is sure that she doesn’t want another “Hannah Montana” movie in her life. The 16 year old Disney star is presently busy promoting for her upcoming film adaptation of the popular Disney TV series, “Hannah Montana: The Movie“. The star already finds it not necessary to bring alive the popular Disney character on big screen a second time.

“I feel like this is a TV show, and we got really lucky with having the material to make one movie.  To do another one, I feel like it takes away the reality of it all”, Cyrus was quoted saying in an interview. But she also added that she would always love to play her role in the TV series. In fact she feels there will be more seasons after the season three ends in Disney channel. “We are continuing to do season three, and we all wish to do a season four, and I would love to do that if the time is right and if that’s what everyone agrees on.  I don’t know if I would do another film, but I would love to do another season. I think that would be what we would all agree on”, she added.

But Miley would be working in other movies. In fact she all geared up to work in a Nicholas Sparks movie this summer. Sparks have been quoted in an interview that the he particularly wrote the screenplay and a novel with Miley in mind.

“You never really hear that the movie was written before the book.  It’s kind of a weird way to do that. But he wrote the movie before he wrote the book, and he wrote it with me in mind”, Cyrus said about her upcoming project. Not much details have been revealed about the movie yet. Cyrus even knows close to nothing about the film. “I’ve always been lucky to play parts that relate to me — and this doesn’t at all.  I have my issues, but not as bad as this chick! I am happy to play someone who is just kind of out there and not someone that I am like”, Miley said.
