On the opening day itself, “New Moon” earned $72.7 million, which is an all time domestic high for opening day. The stars, surrounded by fans waiting for them impatiently, quite knew what was coming their way this time. “I’m not as scared as I was last year. At some point, the security guy said, ‘This is very unsafe.’ And I was like, ‘Uh.’ Other than that, everything was cool”, Stewart said while she signed autographs finding moments out of her very short visit.
