44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards

At the 44th  Annual Academy of Country Music Awards the Nashville’s brightest stars will be in  Sin City this weekend. After winning the ACM Award for top new group or duo in 2008 Lady Antebellum has been adding to its fan base. This year’s awards for the top vocal group is most likely to be bagged by Hillary, Charles and Dave.

Hillary Scott with Lady Antebellum said, “If anybody sitting at home and flipping through, that’s one more person we’re trying to connect with, one more fan we’re trying to win”. Those present at the ACM Awards on Sunday will witness a performance by Lady Antebellum trio will perform “I Run to You” their latest single. “It’s well needed exposure for us. It’s a big honor to do it”, added Dave Haywood with Lady Antebellum.

Although Heidi Newfield is a veteran country musician, but this is Trick Pony’s first trip to the ACM Awards as a solo artist. “I am just more excited than anything else. I am anxious and I am just ready to get up there and rock and shine, and show people what I am made of and show them I am not going anywhere”, said Newfield.

The 44th Annual ACM Awards will be telecast on  Sunday night at eight on NewsChannel 5.
