Michael Sheen will be seen in the role of Aro in the Twilight sequel New Moon. Sheen, who is better known for his roles as Tony Blair and David Frost in the Oscar-nominated films The Queen and Frost/Nixon will now be starring in the sequel of the biggest blockbuster of 2008.

in a recent interview to The Daily Mail director Chris Weitz has confirmed that Sheen will Play Aro in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon. “Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires. Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat”, added Weitz.

Besides acting in the Oscar nominated dramas, Sheen has also starred in all three “Underworld” films as the Lycan (werewolf) Lucian.  He will be playing a part of the blood-thirsty team in New Moon.
