The theme for American Idol this week was the good old country music. Contestants performed music from the Grand Ole Opry, when most of the contestants brought alive some of the genres best songs.
American Idol season 8 also allowed its viewers to get a glimpse of some of the genres best musicians.Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood And Randy Travis performed in American Idol season 8’s result show.
Brad Paisley, who is a Grand Ole Opry member and a very popular country singer began the night’s performance. For the first time in television Brad performed his new song “Then”. Brad’s new album, American Saturday Night, will be available in stores from June 30th.
Carrie Underwood, one of the most successful stars of American Idol and Grand Ole Opry’s newest female inductee gave a rocking performance on the American Idol stage. Carrie performed a duet with Randy Travis, a country legend. Travis was also this week’s mentor in American Idol. The duo performed I Told You So for the first time live on TV.
