
Sequel for the super hit, Sex And The City movie is on.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis have been already pulled in for the reprise of their classic roles in the hit film.
Till date rumours and speculations were doing the rounds for a possible Sequel of the movie. The four main actresses had till now just expressed their interest in shooting a second film in the franchise after the global success of the 2008 big-screen adaptation of the TV series, which made more than $400 million (£274 million) worldwide.
As the word has it now they can finally bring their kitty out of their bag. The deal is sealed with the stars and writer/director Michael Patrick King signing contracts with studio bosses at New Line on last Wednesday.
A source tells the celebrity blogger, “Everything was finalised yesterday afternoon.” Michael King is yet to pen a script for the sequel but he is reportedly aiming for a summer 2010 release date.
