Salma Hayek who is regarded as a very devoted actor in the film industry reportedly cancelled her honeymoon with new husband Francois-Henri Pinault. The actress flew straight back from Paris soon after her French nuptials took place. Hayek who is scheduled for the shooting of her TV show 30 Rock did not feel the need to stay for her wedding rituals and customs any longer by missing out on her work.

Hayek who reportedly married her businessman boyfriend after a long courtship, was said to be more inclined to cancel their relaxing sessions after their very private wedding ceremony in the French capital. The couple together took the decision to cancel their post-wedding plans because Hayek was due to film her special guest spot on Tina Fey’s hit comedy series immediately afterward.

The news was however confirmed by Alec Baldwin. Alec co-stars alongside Hayek and is said to be playing her love interest in the show. Alec added : “She flew right from her wedding to come shoot with us again. Her husband is a doll”.

Tina Fey, the series creator added : “(Hayek) spent her honeymoon working with us! She told me, ‘You must go the parties with me and elope! You must party with me!’”

Hayek after cancelling her engagements plans several times, finally decided to marry Francois-Henri Pinault. The couple jointly parent their 16-month-old daughter, Valentina.
