It was first time for both of them. For Robert Pattinson it was his first time Oscar presentation and for Hugh Jackman it was his first time as an Oscar host. The presence of the youngest and the latest Hollywood heartthrob, Pattinson, and the sexiest man alive, Jackman shot the TRPs higher of the 81st Academy Awards.
The show’s success was also measured by the thunderous applause of those who were present in the Kodak Theater on Sunday, 22nd February. But how are the two stars celebrating their unique experience of the Academy Awards’ night? May be just with a little ‘karaoke’.
Pattinson and Jackman engaged in some karaoke singing together this week at a bar in Tokyo a witness mentioned. The two stars are presently in Japan for the premiere of their respective films - Pattinson reached on Tuesday for the premiere of Twilight while Jackman and Nicole Kidman reached on Thursday night to promote their film Australia.
Australia director Baz Luhrmann joined them, too. “They went after doing press for their films”, said a reliable source.

People magazine also described the flamboyantly adventurous “Pirates of the Caribbean” star as “the king of cool with the killer cheekbones”. The 46 year old Depp, succeeded the 2008 winner Hugh Jackman this year.
