Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze the heart throb hero of films like 1987 hit ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Ghost’ seems to be nearing his last days. The actor was admitted in a clinic for an ailment.

Patrick Swayze seen puffing

Patrick Swayze who is reportedly in his last days of Pancreatic Cancer shocked onlookers by lighting up. Patrick has been snapped while puffing away on a cigarette. Patrick has been battling with his ailment(Pancreatic Cancer) for a long time now. Swayze must have either gone crazy or the ace actor might be thinking of doing what he feels like since his days are possibly numbered as his doctors had said earlier. Pancreatic Cancer is irreversible if we are to believe medical details and history. Usuallly the ones who suffer, do not live for long. It is mostly incurable and time frame is very limited.

In the newest pictures the ‘Dirty Dancing’ star looks leaner than ever and bears an untrimmed stubble. Patrick was spotted while visiting a Beverly Hills clinic. He looked depressingly thin and weak. The reports suggest that he was in with pneumonia, for which he had checked in. In his earlier interviews, Swayze had maintained that he was winning the battle everyday. He had also claimed that the sick media reports of his numbered days tormented him and his family. He had poured out his bitterness several times by pleading with people to leave him alone.

His death rumours had circulated in the recent past when Patrick could not help but lash out at the inhuman media trends.

Patrick is reverred as an ace hero who would forever remain so for his outstanding performances in character roles of the yester years. The 57 year old actor had made a plea for more US government funding to help cancer patients, last week. A fan added : “It was so sad to see him looking so gaunt. He is unrecognisable from the toned actor who became a global heart-throb.”

I’d like to have dibbs on writing about Angana when he/she has the misfortune of acquiring such a miserable disease. From what is written, you’d think Mr. Swayze had asked to be ill.

I wish I had some words of wisdom. My mother died 10 yrs ago from Pancreatic Cancer. My brother died last year from Pancreatic Cancer, he was only 58. I only recently found out it can run in families. All I can say is love them and spend alot of time with them. My heart goes out to everyone dealing with this and their families.

    Patrick,
Put you life in God’s hands. It is the times when you feel you can no longer walk with this cancer that God will carry you and your family through the hard times. My prayers are with you and your family. Choose to trust in God and your rewards will await you.

I would recommend people now switch to the concept of electronic smoking. I use it and am very happy to quit real smoking.

    Patrick,
You will be missed. I wish the media would have left him alone. He is one of the few celebrities we can be pround of for living such a good life. He was a great actor with so much t.
alent. So what if he smoked before he died. He knew it was coming minds well enjoy himself before the end. Can’t the media focus on the good instead of negative. He was a great person plain in simple so let his family grieve in peace now.
    Rest in peace Patrick
