Lily Allen

Singer Lily Allen who has been in news for all the wrong reasons in her career has made an outrageous statement where she has urged children to abide by drugs in order to see for themselves how it felt. The singer who is a drug addict has claimed that it is good to take drugs after all. She has urged parents to encourage their children to take drugs in order to see what was good and what was not required. Allen  has made an appalling outrage by encouraging parents to tell their children to try illegal drugs. Allen must have gone out of her mind or why would she state such a bizarre thing in the midst of her latest album being released.

Allen’s new album, “It’s Not Me, It’s You,” is all set to top the US charts so quite obviously she is making some public statements these days. Lily bizarrely insists that hard drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy may not actually go on to harm users. The singer is also strangely adamant that parents should allow their offspring to experiment these drugs.

In an interview with Dutch magazine Revu, she says, “Parents should say, ‘Drugs might seem fun but they do funny things to your brain. Some people react to it good, some don’t. Try it and see what you think.’ If I hadn’t been famous I’d have taken loads. Wouldn’t be too wise right now. I’ve never been good with cocaine or drugs like that. They make me passionately angry on everything. I steer clear of heroin or crack”. She adds, “Mothers and sisters should be role models. Not pop stars or actresses”.

Lily has always been vocal about her life and career. The singer now admits to the fact she has struggled to quit alcohol. Lily has recently announced that she was giving it all up. She says, “I react bad to alcohol, but I never know when to stop. I keep drinking, because it helps me. I find it difficult to communicate with strangers”.

Last month, Allen was forced to issue a statement where she had to publicly condemn drugs. This had happened after she was quoted as saying the issue is “sensationalised” and that she knows people who “take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work everyday, no problem”.
